I visited Dr. Hass on 3/29/18 complaining about planter fasciitis. Dr. Hass and his staff were polite and was friendly. Dr. Hass’s advise was to get rid of the over the counter insert I had bought for ($80.00) and get a custom insert from him. He also told me that the custom orthotics he was going to order would cost me less than the over the counter orthotics I had purchased for $80.00. Imagine my surprise to receive this bill for $553.83 for my portion of the orthotics this does not include the office visit for which I was charged separately. I reached out to him. His office staff called and said Dr. Hass does not know the cost and they will not adjust the bill. - BTW, the custom orthotics he provided are not at all comfortable or helpful. I stopped wearing them because of the discomfort and went back to the inserts that came with the shoe. The custom orthotics provided by Dr. Hass is in mint condition and I offered to return them but they are not interested. They offered that I come in for additional visits at additional costs. Given my experience and false promise, I am not interested. I felt ripped off and feel like they did a bait and switch by quoting $80.00 and then billing many multiples of that. I have $554 piece of plastic sitting in my closet. I would urge Dr. Hass to adjust my bill to $80.00 that he had quoted.

The office was great all around, the nurse very courteous and competent. Dr. Haas was very knowledgeable, personable and professional. I couldn't ask for more in my treatment for gout. Thank you!

Felt deceived by this practice, the front staff,the billing, the doctor. Was told the visits would be “whatever your specialist copay is” yet they send out patient surgery codes to the insurance now I have to pay almost 500!! All the procedures were done in office and yet my insurance was billed as “outpatient surgery”...They don’t care to explain or go over anything not their problem. That was my whole experience. Never again.

The work performed was both quick and direct Thank you. .. The outpatient care was anything but good. I asked how it would feel after the local wore off. Then I was informed not a problem you'll be just fine. After concerns about it knowing how it felt before I went ahead and went to my primary care physician and said I was concerned and they felt it best to call the treating physician dr. Haas and ask whether or not I needed something for pain because of the procedure. They were informed format on a four-year-old he was just fine. I can only imagine what the parents of that 4 year old must have had to go through because I was up till 3 o'clock in the morning in so much pain I couldn't stand it. Fortunately I have a full bottle of 800 milligram Ibuprofen guess what it was time to start eating those. Thanks Doc for not only making me look bad to my primary care physician but showing me that you're after care sucks. I'm learning a valuable lesson being in Albuquerque you looking for Quality Healthcare go to California Arizona Nevada Texas Oregon anywhere but Albuquerque

Dr. Haas is an extremely competent provider and I appreciate his direct and honest demeanor. I've seen him for two separate foot issues and his treatments were 100% effective where several other methods failed. Thank you!!

I found Dr. Mark Haas to be accurate, conservative (a good thing in medicine), and right on target. I intend to see him for any other foot and ankle problems.
