I`ve seen Mike Wilkinson several times and each time he has addressed my problems with professionalism and compassion. His staff members are fast and efficient with minimum wait times. My wife also visists Mike and is very pleased with the level of care we both have recieved at the Alamogordo Dermatolgy. I would highly recommend Mike Wilkinson for any of your Dermatolgy needs

I am a 46 year old woman who saw this jerk today for a longstanding skin issue that I have never been able to resolve. This non doctor was dismissive, rude, REFUSED TO LISTEN TO ME, and recommended horrible "treatment options". He would not do what I asked him to do which was to do a little skin scraping to determine the cause of my lesions as they don't really respond to acne medication. He wanted to put me on long term antibiotics. YEAH, SURE, I PREFER MRSA. WHAT THE HELL? THEN he recommended ACCUTANE. He pushed that so hard, It was almost as if he were getting kickbacks. I suffer from depression. It's right there in the documentation. It is well known that a person with depression SHOULD NEVER, EVER be prescribed accutane. NOT TO MENTION that it dries your skin out so badly it cracks and bleeds. Why in THE HELL would a 46 year old woman want that? He is horrible. Horrible. He had me in tears. I am LIVID. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY IN MY LIFE. Stay away. Go to Las Cruces.

I saw Mike for a skin issue that I had for some years. Mike was able to tell me what he thought it was and did a biopsy to confirm his suspicions. I walked out of my first visit knowing what his treatment plan was going to be for my next visit. The results came back quickly and his office staff got me back in the office to treat it. Mike and his medical assistant Gracie took great care of me during this whole process and I would recommend him to anyone with a concern about their skin.

BIG shout out also to Mike, Ashley and Carlea for cutting up with me and keeping the mood around my cancer removal surgery light and upbeat. I think it's supposed to be wrong to say a procedure was 'fun'. But I had a blast with you! :-)

I would highly recommend dr Wilkinson (skin whisper) to anyone. After years of going back and forth to Las curces and hearing that there not anything that they can do for me. So just keep taking allergy pills to the point my body was getting use to them and they weren't working. A dr in curces said it is what happens to women and I have to deal with it. Then my dr referred me to Mike he knew what was wrong . He started treatment and now I haven't had any outbreaks with hives or sores at all. This dr is a great guy and his staff are sweethearts. They always work with my schedule because I work 8 to 5. Alamogordo needs a good skin dr and now they have one! I call him the skin whisper because not one dr out of town even in unm couldn't help me. So thumbs up to dr skin whisper "mike" and his staff for there great job!!

Looking back it was hilarious. I tried to remove a large and growing bump on my nose, to no avail. I was considering acid or a chainsaw when it dawned on me: call a professional! I had an appointment within a week with Dr. Mike Wilkinson. Great guy. He assessed the situation, shared options (and some jokes), and removed the ugly growth. Yes, it was malignant. I returned in three weeks for a follow up. You can't even see where it was, and we're pretty sure it won't be back. Minimal wait time, high tech operation, friendly folks. And, they take insurance. Just do it.

I went to see Dr.Wilkinson in November regarding a skin lesion on my neck. He performed a biopsy and we later scheduled appointments to review the biopsy results and determine a plan of action. Yesterday, he explained fully, with diagrams, what was taking place and what my options were, showing me pictures and discussing the side affects of each. I let the appointment feeling relieved and confident I was in good hands. I am thankful Alamogordo has such qualified health professionals.
