I drive 45 minutes just to go to this great OBGYN. I come here once a year and Dr Aballa is so sweet and caring. Would recommend to everyone.

They lost my urine and didn't even test it. They waited a full four days to call me and tell me. I thought they were joking but it turns out the joke here is this practice.

I have been coming to this OBGYN for the last 4 years. It may o my be once a year but the experience is wonderful and calm. I’m a person who always gets nervous to be in doctors offices but the staff is great and the office is very clean. Love Dr Aballa she is great. Highly recommend.

Can't say anything nice about this office besides it's clean looking. The front desk staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. If you're sitting out in the waiting room, you can hear every phone conversation / patient name and their reason for calling... OMG!! ...and every time I am there, I blatantly hear them talking about people wanting their records to go somewhere else! I have been rescheduled 4+ times in the last 3 years of trying to deal with this office. Now that I'm pregnant, the only reason I am staying is because its too late to go somewhere else and there doesn't seem to be any better option in the area (why is it so hard to find a good DR!?). Dr. Kaiser is completely uninterested in my visits- spends close to 5 minutes at my appointments and barely does an ultrasound. This is supposed to be an amazing time and experience but this office has got me seriously stressed out about the next months ahead and my delivery. Take this review seriously and go elsewhere if you want a good experience.

2 stars for: - cordial and nice staff. No stars for: - the wait time. After 40 mins of wait, was told to come back another day... That is; after u call, get confirmation that something like blood draw won't take more than 10 mins. May I suggest respecting other's time as u would like yours? Simple logic u wud think.. - start time. Website says it opens at 730am. However called from 730 to 9am got msg of out of office hours message. May I suggest changing one of the two? But being nice won't help the unprofessional work ethics.

I will forever be grateful for the incredible care that I received at this practice. The doctors are excellent. They have excellent bedside manners but more importantly is that they make things happen. They are who you go to when you need extra care and modern medicine. The staff is what takes away one star.

I can honestly say, with my history of GYN's this by far is the most professional and very caring facility. The staff was quick and amazing and the nurse's are outstanding. I was very pleased.

Horrible customer service, the staff is the worst. I made an appointment for 8.22, which it was cancelled and then the secretary made another appointment for me at certain time, when I called, she said I was late because the apt was earlier... and she insisted that she did not the apt with me.. like really?? I was the one who did the apt with that lady, so how she dare to tell me I didn't spoke to her.. just to justify that the doctor will not see me because of her incompetence. I can deal with these incompetent people. Didn't even see the doctor but the staff service was enough to no go there.

If I could give -100 stars, I would. As a new patient, I booked a month in advance for a yearly visit and a consult with Dr Tara Abella. When I booked my appointment, I specifically asked for Dr Abella, not a Nurse Practitioner, because I also had serious health concerns I wanted to speak about directly with a doctor. Though the appointment was a month out, which I was not so happy with, I accepted because I was a new patient and wanted to find a new gynecologist that I could go to (having moved to New Jersey recently). Today, on the day of the appointment, I get a call from their office. They wanted to reschedule my appointment because Dr Abella was stuck in the hospital and 99% positive would not be able to make today's appointment. The "snow storm" was a good second excuse for the cancellation/rescheduling. What could I do? I asked when was the next available appointment and was told there was nothing till March! ONE MONTH LATER. Are you kidding me? I book a month in advance to see Dr Abella and get rescheduled from something completely out of my control and on the doctor's behalf and I am the one who has to suffer the consequences? Plus, if they do this to me on my first appointment, what's to say I wait another month and they do this to me again? Clearly, they don't care for anyone's else's time but their own. Who cares that I had to reschedule work around this? Who cares about my health concerns? Jesus, the nerve. Mind you, I've waited one month with possibly serious health consequences, just for this visit, and they just brush it off like nothing. Instead, the receptionist (Dana, I believe) says that I could see a Nurse Practitioner Stephanie or their male doctor instead. If I wanted to see either, I could have had my appointment weeks earlier. I did not specifically book my appointment with Dr Abella so that I could have someone else swoop in last minute and take over. The fact that they should so casually try to do this to me, shows me that this doctor and this office cares nothing for their patients, new or otherwise. I told Dana (the office receptionist) all of my concerns and she stated that she would speak to Dr Abella and try to get me squeezed in this week. Try to squeeze me in? Shouldn't all patients who've been rescheduled be accommodated by the doctor and office accordingly? I told Dana thank you and that I would be waiting for her call because this entire situation was very upsetting and not of my doing. It's end of day today. No call or update from Dana or the office. No notification via email as well. Fair warning: This office doesn't care about their patients or their specific needs. They won't try helping you, even with the simplest type of appointment booking. They don't care how much you wait as long as you can fit into their pretty schedule. Forget it. I'd really rather not see a group/doctor/office that clearly doesn't have my patient care in mind.

I have been a patient with West Essex OBGYN for 20(?) years. Sometimes you have to wait but it is well worth it to me. I have never been rushed, have always felt heard and value the opinion of all of the doctors in the practice. Dr. Fain delivered two of my babies and Dr. Abella one. I will never forget - Dr. Fain walked into my delivery when as I was getting my epidural with my second child. He immediately wrapped his arms around me and I cried. His mere presence instantly calmed my nerves; I was so happy he was there. He probably wouldn't remember this, but he helped us name that little boy, too. Not every practice is for everyone, but West Essex is for me. :)

They are absolutely amazing, I have been with them for the last 16 years and I honestly wish the could be my primary care. Everyone from the staff to all the doctors are amazing.

I have no opinion about my experience with this facility because I was turned away at the door. I was to have my first visit with Dr. Tara Abella but was 15 minutes late. Dr Abella had been recommended to me by my niece, whom said that the doctor was gentle and patient. I also got a little lost trying to even find where the office was located. When I arrived there was only one other person in the waiting room also. The desk assistant informed me that I was too late and I could reschedule to see the nurse practitioner in January. My personal opinion, I dont want to see a nurse practitioner on my first visit to a new OB/GYN. I even informed the desk assistant that I thought my appointment was for 10:45 a.m. and not for 10:30a.m., but this was to no avail. If you are a new patient at this facility, make sure you are on time. They do not give you a grace period and you will have to reschedule your appointment. Unfortunately, I did not reschedule and I wont be returning to this facility
