I went to see Dr. Bilkis in regards to moderate to severe acne that I had on my face for over a year. I had seen a few other dermatologists within this timeframe, with no effective solutions yet. Dr. Bilkis and I decided on two acne creams that I would use each day, and I additionally took oral antibiotics for about two and a half months. With this regimen as well as keeping in mind his advice about a proper diet, my skin cleared up dramatically. I stopped taking the antibiotics over a month ago, and my skin continues to gradually become more and more clear. I am also now taking probiotics daily, after his advice to do so. Words cannot describe how much better I feel, both physically and psychologically. I recommend Dr. Bilkis not only because of the effectiveness of his care, but because of the determination he had to treat my acne and the perceived personalization of his care.

Worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office. You will wait, wait, and wait some-more in their waiting room, until you get to the next waiting room where you will wait some more. No concern for the patients whatsoever, staff are un-involved and cold. I would only recommend this facility to a homeless person. If you are homeless and have nowhere to go, go here. You can sit there for hours and no one will pay attention to you.

No regard for my time or respect for me as a patient. Sat in the exam unattended for over 40 minutes before the nurse finally walked in. I left around noon from a 10am appointment. Spent less then 20 minutes with the Dr! Over three weeks later and Dr. Kassim still has not returned my call with my results even after leaving 4 messages with her staff and promises she would get right back to me.

Visited for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised! I saw Dr Bilkis for a cyst. There were about 20+ people in the waiting room when I arrived, but I was seen in about 20-30 minutes. Once I was called, Dr Bilkis was very friendly and attentive. He didn't keep me waiting in the exam room. For someone who was feeling very insecure, he did a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable. I ended up getting a cortisone shot and he goes "don't worry, this won't hurt me a bit!" I would definitely be back to see Dr Bilkis!

I really hate to write a negative review but I really am tired of going to Doctors that aren't helpful. It's a waste of time and money not to mention bad for your health. I saw Dr. Bilkis several times for an ongoing skin rash. While I'm open to alternative medicine, he suggested I had some emotional trauma going on causing this autoimmune cause rash. I told him it seemed to be food related since it subsided when I went on a cleanse. He didn't seem to take that info in and suggested lupus and wrote a prescription for hydroquinone, telling me we had to break the cycle. The med didn't make any difference and when I went back for a follow up, he was still not able to properly diagnose me and suggested I see a chiropractor/life coach who had some sort of business relationship with his wife. When I mentioned that I was tired of running around and spending money with still no results, he made a condescending remark that made me feel like he didn't have any concern or understanding of the frustration of not getting anywhere after seeing several doctors. When I last saw him he told me he would prescribe a cream to help when it got really bad. He said you don't need to come back in, just call the office and I'll call in the cream to the local drugstore..I eventually called the office to ask for him to do that and after 3 or 4 back and forth phone calls of me being told he didn't know what I was talking about and that I would need to come in, I was thoroughly disgusted with him...here's the real kicker though..I eventually was able to figure out what was causing the rash MYSELF! I saw an article on celiac allergies that cause skin rashes. I eliminated gluten from my diet and viola! After several years of having this constant itchy, painful and unsightly rash, it was gone! Why couldn't these dermatologists have figured this out? I just don't think they can be bothered with issues that aren't textbook..

Go somewhere else! The doctors and staff are nice in Morristown. HOWEVER... the way The Derm Group runs the back office is horrible. I have had months and months of back and forth with many different members of the staff on prior authorization for medicine which my insurance approved and paid for (can you say fraud). Recently their prior authorization specialist quit or was fired and they dumpped way too much work on someone who is already maxed out. Here I am 2 months later without being treated, and again I should point out I was billed for services not rendered. Next call will be to the payer to red flag bills from their offices. Be this by way of apathy, neglect or poor management; how I have been treated as a customer put my rating beyond poor and downright disgraceful.

This place is honestly terrible. I usually don't write reviews, but these people are extremely rude, and they make you wait for at least 30 minutes after your scheduled appointment! Will not go back here, and I do not recommend it to anyone

I wish that i had read these reviews before going to this office. I saw Dr. Bilkis - he was very arrogant and condescending. He told me my acne was from stress - but I have been suffering from it all my life. He barely checked me on my body exam and missed a cyst on my neck, which I had to ask him about. Not recommended!

IF THIS POST IS REMOVED I WILL REPORT YOUR SHADY PRACTICE TO THE AUTHORITYS DR.bilikis I went to see Dr. Bilkis at the dermatologist group on Friday to have an abscess drained. His staff was friendly and helpful. I wish I could say the same about him. The fact that he was extremely rude arrogant and disrespectful didn't bother me so much. He opened up an abscess on my rear end the size of a tennis ball without disinfecting or even cleaning my skin. When he was done and putting a bandage over the open wound I ask him if he was going to pack it with gauze. He said no because he was "all out" (his words). When I asked him how to care for the wound he ignored me and walked out of the room. Because the wound wasn't packed it closed up, filled up with infected puss and landed me in the hospital where I've been all weekend with no discharge date in sight . They have me on IV antibiotics and had to do 2 more extremely painful procedures to remove the infection. I hope that Hack Bilikis enjoyed his weekend as much as I did.

I found a strange looking spot on my hand that I wanted to have checked out. Nervous, I called this morning and asked for the soonest appointment, thinking it would be in a couple days or next week. They fit me in today. It was a 5:40 appointment and I was seen by 6:00pm. The doctor not only checked the suspicious spot on my hand, but every birth mark and beauty mark on my body. A portion of the suspicious spot was shaved off right then and there and sent for testing, and the results should be in in 2 weeks. The doctor was professional, calming, and thorough. I am satisfied with this practice and my experience here.
