I love appearance dermatology. One of the main reasons why I love it there is because of the receptionist Simone.she always greets me with a cheerful smile and a great hello.she sharp knows what she's doing at the front desk she's always there to help me.I'm always nervous going to appearance dermatology because I have a lot of skin problems.when I see and talk to Simone she makes me feel comfortable and not nervous no more.dr petell is also why I love going there she really cares for her patience. This place is SOOO much better than the vineland office. I HATE the vineland office and never went back. The staff here is a breath of fresh air compared. We (my whole family lol) started seeing Simone Noble, she's super nice. We love it here. The longest we ever waited was 30 minutes, but not usually that long so something probably happened that day, which things happen so, completely understandable. The late hours are also very convenient because of my kids and school I don't have to take them out.

I made an appointment at this office because my son have a mole on his tear duct. I know it's in the eye but, it's still a mole on the skin. When the nurse practitioner came in the room right away she showed no interest in checking my son. She said it was in the eye so I had to see an optometrist. That's fine with me but, she should've had the decency to give my son a full body check up and use the magnifying tool they have to look closer at moles. I think she should've checked it anyway and give me her opinion. I showed her another one he has on his back and again she didn't check that one with the magnifying glass either. Anytime I have been to a dermatologist to get a mole checked they always check it with that glass to make sure they don't see anything abnormal. Even if they think it's normal. I called to talk to the office manager to see if I could take my son back to be seen by a doctor and she didn't even bother calling me back after I had to leave a message with a person that works in the front desk. I guess they don't respect the HIPPA law. If you're not getting any cosmetic surgery don't bother going there. And I wouldn't even trust them with that. I called my insurance to complain after giving them the cahance to call me back and they said to report it to the better business bureau. And that's what I'll be doing.

If you feel like wasting your time on Zocdoc "which apparently does not sync up with their computer/system", even though, their website promotes zocdoc (not sure why they have it if they can't/don't use the service) by booking an appointment that never went through on their end (therefore, not getting it), spend an unnecessary amount of time being put on hold by the receptionist who eventually answers the phone as if she's speaking with you for the first time, THEN be placed on hold again for another extended period time, then this is the place for you.

I have been seeing Dr. Toome since begining of this year and I thing I honestly say that she really cares about her patients and she knows what she is doing. I am happy with the result. I have had bad acne since I was 13. I am 25 years old. A lot of doctors gave up and said it will stay or they can only help me get rid of active acne, but not the scars. But this woman! She knows what she is doing and my skin never looked this good. I would recomend to anybody with acne, scars...

Dr. Toome is an awesome doctor and has a great talents for doing injectables for cosmetic enhancements. This office constantly exudes incompetence! The front staff are untrained, unprofessional, and condescending. Simple tasks are made hugely complicated like changing an appt., getting an authorization from insurance company, or calling the pharmacy for a refill. It doesn’t get done until YOU THE CONSUMER reminds them! I’ve changed appts and the old appt never taken off the schedule. They forget to refill your meds or even call back. Then when you call back they’re condescending towards you. I’ve made appts 6 weeks ahead of my son going off to college in California! I did my part, by getting referral. They waited until 3 days before his appt to get authorization and then they call me to say the insurance company is going to take 14 days to give auth. Needless to say my son had to leave WITHOUT his needed treatment. Stay FAR AWAY from this office!
