I have been going to Soma for over a year and a half now for tattoo removal. No matter where you go, what laser you use, tattoo removal is a long, painful, brutal process. I am getting 4 small ones removed, I feel the price is fair, the laser being used it doing a good job and Dr. Ehrenreich is very good at adjusting the frequency each visit. We are struggling with some of the colors and he has been honest about this from the beginning, sometimes you don't get a full removal. But I am going to keep plugging away. Yes it is expensive but anywhere you go it will be expensive because you have to go so many times. Soma I feel has very fair pricing and Dr.Ehrenreich is very good at his job. I highly recommend Soma for tattoo removal.

When it comes to great Skin Care, SOMA Skin & Laser truly is the best!! From the moment you walk in, the staff is friendly and attentive. The office is very comfortable and impeccably clean. I am also VERG happy to say that their scheduling is consistently right on time. I have never had to wait for a scheduled appointment. I have trusted Dr. Ehrenreich with all my Dermatolgy needs, and have even brought my two sons to be treated by Dr. E. I can't say enough about the MANY positive experiences I have had a t SOMA. Give SOMA a try. I can assure you, you will be glad you did!!

Not a good place to go as a patient. For a black head removal the doctor charged or billed my insurance as surgery. I think that constitutes insurance fraud. Which came to about couple hundred and my deductible was $126. This is for a black head removal on my nose. All doctor would say during his short performance using a balled scalpel like tool is that I could not have done it myself. No further testing or pathology lab work on the black head. I was worried about it since I golf a lot. Just simple technique, using the tool, 2 min of work and he dares to charge as surgery billable item for $500! I did not know black head removal were billable as surgery. Are they? Either case the doctor failed to inform me that it would cost that much to remove a black head. I may have just gone to CVS and by some pore removing strips or etc. I would not go back and I recommend you do not. They are insurance frauds, cheaters and billing and communication records is not well kept either. How do I go about reporting them? I’m sure it’s not just my case they have handled wrong.

My experience at Soma was not the best. The doctor was acceptable but they sent all my bills to the wrong address, did not ever call me and then sent me to collections. Wish they would have picked up the phone.

I came in with acne trouble and scarring that I have had for awhile. Making the appoitment for the consult was so easy and the staff are so nice and extremely helpful! Also, the waiting room and offices are very clean! The doctor is super accomidating and helpful, he has a lot of options depending on ones indiviualized skin issue. I came here to see Dr. Ehrenreich whom is very nice and explains everything in detail. I also did A BLU-U light which helps with acne. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone with acne, scarring, or any other skin issue.

Doctor and the nurse are very courteous and efficient. Very happy. Also the front desk staff is good and the place is clean. When it comes for MA seeking pre-authorization, the rating is one or minus. This patient needs a unaffordable medication which she has used out of insurance but MA continually fails to communicate efficiently in favor if this patient to the preauthorization unit of the health insurance co. This medication (along with topical and laser) has been helping this patient but MA is not taking it seriously in the best of patient’s interest. This is third or fourth time, this patient has been experiencing. If she needs training, she may be trained at her expense. Due to MA, the five stars rating is down to three as teamwork is required. Due to negative feedback on MA re lack of receiving pre-authorization ability, she or the office staff may not like this patient to continue. But i feel it is necessary.

Did 3 treatments so far for my Face & not 1 worked The treatment actually made my problem look worse. Went back paid another 200 dollars, doctor talked to me like i had issues or something, he always has an attitude so does the doctors assistant. she has an attitude as well if i ask a question they answer me like im stupid Will write a negative review about these guys on every site i can find. Very unhappy with their service, attitude, and cost. 600 dollars down drain .. all i got was attitude and talked down to thanks SOMA

One of the worst dermatologists I have ever visited. Let me walk you through my experience with Soma Skin & Laser. I called this location because I was interested in laser hair removal. I told them the locations I would like done and they informed me of the prices and packages they offer and I created an appointment. Days later I get a call saying that I would have to pay before attending my appointment as the appointment was scheduled for a 30 minute session and that would be for customers who have paid first. I said "ok makes no difference to me" so I end up paying for the 4 session package. Here is where the second screw up occurs. I arrive there a couple of weeks later for my first session. The session was for 30 minutes...lasted more like 15 minutes. It was almost as if the dermatologist was scared of the areas that I wanted laser hair removal at. He did a terrible job. About 6 or 7 weeks pass and I arrive for my second session. The same thing, a terrible 15 minute session of missed areas and a rushed process. Now here is the kicker, after the 2nd session ends I am informed that I would need to pay for additional sessions. I explain that I purchased the 4 session package...now for the big surprise...EACH AREA I WANTED DONE COUNTED AS A SEPARATE SESSION. I was NEVER informed of this and I assume this is exactly why they wanted me to pay before I even had my first visit at the location. So here I am 3-4 months after this incident I am thinking ehh forget them, I wont even bother writing a review. Well today I get a letter in the mail demanding I pay $30 for a missed appointment. I busted out laughing and ripped the bill in half. First of all I never had another appointment because I was not willing to pay more after being lied to the first time. So not only will you not receive the $30 you demand, now you get this poor review also. If they contact me again asking for this $30 I will be disputing the original charges.

This is by far the worst place I have been to in a while. They clearly do not know how to take care of their customers who have been loyal. They did not have my updated address but did not try to email or call me for an outstanding balance not picked up by my insurance provider, before sending me to collections. I find out about this during my next visit in January and go ahead and make a full payment towards the balance. The staff at the front desk tells me the collection agency will drop the reporting as soon as the payment is made. Come April the balance still appears under collections in my credit report. When I call to find out how something like this could have happened they tell me they would get back with answers but fail to do. They are quick to send you to collections but give you a run around when you want the issue rectified. The incompetency at this place is honestly appalling!! Never going back.

I went to see Dr Ehrenreich because he has good reviews in Zocdoc but I was very disappointed. First I was using my insurance and even though, in order to be seen by him I had to put my credit card information on the paperwork. Why do I have to give my credit card number if I am not buying anything else yet? Then, after the nurse made me all questions about my visit, the doctor came in and barely spent 5 minutes there. For every concern I had he'd suggest one of her clinics treatments and would ask, any other question? I felt like he was more interested in selling his expensive treatments packages than in helping me with my problem. Of course that is how the clinic makes money. I should have guessed it.

Note I had an amateur tattoo basically an outline..BUT very very quick, everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable, it is a legit place nothing sketchy, the procedure took about 5 minutes for me or less, and they did not make me wait I was in and out, I only paid $99, the tools are very high tech and new as well. Enjoyable place definitely recommend for Tattoo Removal lol

The following is what I posted on Monday, 11/19/18 and rated them a generous 3 stars. They called me today to cancel my membership instead of apologizing and providing good customer service; just because of the review. I will take my business to the Fountain Spa in Hackensack where the customer service is actually servicing the customer well and the treatment is just as good and less expensive, if not better. 11/19/18 REVIEW: I have been a member for about 4, 5 months. I signed up sometime in July. While the treatment I get is great and the aesthetician is also great, there have been a couple hiccups that lead me to believe they need to be better organized. I asked them to change my payment method before the next month's charge and failed to do so. I had to call in again to ask them to do so. I was also incorrectly booked for a half hour treatment although all my treatments have been an hour. I called out of work for this appointment, and drove 30 minutes each way, a complete waste. I will not be renewing my membership here.

Dr. Ehrenreich is a compassionate, caring doctor. He has taken excellent care of my teens and of me, and with all of the stubborn, chronic issues we have brought him, he has found effective treatments with minimal side effects. He offers far more treatment options than many dermatolgists -- sure, some of them have costs outside of the standard insurance reimbursements -- but they work. (Why go to a doctor who can't really help you? I would much rather have all tools available to me) I am so very grateful to have him as a resource for my family.

Im not the type to ever post about stuff like this but I feel the need to create awareness. I lost alot. Not even money but happiness. I cant go to my own nursing school graduation and at this point my plans to ask my lady to be my fiance are out the window all becoz of how I look, poor service and lack of empathy. I have severe hyperpigmentation and signed up for treatment over which cost nearly 2 grand over 6 months.They were nice at the beginning and half way through i noticed that the laser being used wasnt working. I asked the Dr If he thought my results were good enough. He and the techs would just rather continue with the treatment i paid for. After 5 treatments not even an ounce of improvement. All i asked for was recommendation of new laser option or to be told with all honesty that the current option wouldnt work. All they were interested in was finishing with me and taking my money. My self esteem has never been at this low. But hey such is life. Thank you Soma.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Ehrenreich when I consulted him about a cyst problem which appeared after waxing at a new place. When first cyst appeared, I met a PA who prescribed medication that helped. Shortly after a 2nd cyst appeared, I panicked and went to SOMAs to meet an experienced dermatologist. I was hoping that he could observe and explain, but he simply poked the cyst with a syringe needle which made it worse. It became so bad that he performed a surgery to remove darkened skin & infected gland and stitch the skin which left an ugly visible scar - even though he insisted that it ll be a thin and unnoticeable. When recently a dermatologist friend noticed it, and said that a hasty puncture of the cyst might have increased the infection and surgery could be avoided, I felt compelled to write this review. The cysts never appeared after changing my esthetician. One expects better diagnosis and treatment from a highly rated doctor. If you can't treat it, guide the patient to someone who can handle such cases. Avoid this clinic if you have similar skin problems.
