We were very impressed with Dr Rebecca Baxt for her knowledge and treatment of my daughter's cystic acne. Her expertise was obvious and gave us confidence that our daughter would be well taken care of. My daughter's skin looks MUCH better after only 3 days. Dr. Baxt explained the condition and her instructions very clear and attainable. She was able to squeeze us in on short notice as well. I wish all Doctors were like her.

Dr. Baxt was wonderful. I had been to several doctors to try to figure out what was going on. One of my dermatalogists wouldn't even see me so she had me see her assistant instead. I was getting frustrated b/c nothing was helping my situation. All the prescriptions I got from previous docs didn't help. Finally when I made an appointment with Dr. Baxt she figured out I had Lymes Disease, put me on antibiotics and started feeling much better. Thankfully I found her in time and she was able to catch it earlier.

Dr. Baxt is extremely thorough and professional. I was impressed with her follow-up to a recent biopsy she did just Monday of this week. She called me herself today with the biopsy results. During that call, she took time to explain the results of my test in detail, and in a way I completely understood. As I had a follow-up appointment scheduled for next Monday, Dr. Baxt said she would cancel that appointment herself, as I didn't need to come into the office. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing an excellent dermatologist.

I've been going to this practice since I was a teenager, always struggling with acne. After about a two year hiatus, I just went again six weeks ago, due to acne once again. This was my first time seeing Rebecca (I usually saw her mother) and I was extremely happy. She was honest with me about my skin, and what I needed to do, without being pushy for expensive acne treatments. I've gone twice in the last six weeks, and I can honestly say there is a noticeable difference in the clarity of my skin. Everyone around me has noticed as well. I'll be returning in another month for my third appointment!

When I was 30 years old I visited Dr. Baxt because I had broken out and I didn't know the cause. She quickly diagnosed my condition and instead of ushering me out of her office she continued a thorough review of my skin and found a mark that looked suspicious that she wanted to immediately remove. After the pathology report came back we found I had an early stage Melanoma. She literally saved my life as I had no idea that I could have skin cancer at my age or that there was any issue at all. I have referred patients to her and will never leave her practice and care. Her bedside manner and care are top notch and she's the most thorough Dr. I've known.

I became a patient at the Baxt Derm Office recently but I can say a lot about my experience with them. Dr. Rebecca is extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Being a dentist anesthesiologist I value my time as well as patient’s time. Therefore, I love that Dr. Rebecca is straight to the point but does not sacrifice personal touch and sensitivity to patient’s major concerns. I have been suffering from heavy facial rash for 3+ years, that couldn’t be properly diagnosed by three additional dermatologist. (For instance, I spent extra bucks on a specialist on Park Ave, Manhattan, for nothing...) Dr. Rebecca resolved the problem, and my rush was treated completely in a few days. In addition, I had a consult regarding cosmetic procedures/ facial enhancers. Surprisingly, she pointed to my natural beauty features, giving me pros and cons as well as whys of her rejection. Yes, the office is not cheap but No, they are not selling you procedures- it’s you who takes the final decision. Don’t forget the phrase: “ You get what you pay for!”

I came to Dr. Rebecca Baxt with pretty severe cystic acne. I was emotionaly and mentally drained at my first appointment with her because two other Dermatologists in Bergen County failed to treat me correctly. Dr. Baxt was confident in her ability to treat me and immediately put me at ease. It’s now been about 2 months since my first visit and I can genuinely say that my skin has SIGNIFICANTLY improved. There’s still some time until I get to having flawless skin, but I am beyond impressed with Dr. Baxt and her treatment plan. Other dermatolgisits just do not compare. Dr. Baxt is the only doctor you need to get your skin to where you want it to be!!

The worse dermatologist I’ve ever seen. I called this dr’s office to schedule an appt for my 3 year old daughter who had a rash on her head and on her genital area. I specifically asked them if dr Baxt was a pediatric dermatologist they said yes. I paid $195 out of pocked for a 3 min consultation and all she did was prescribe steroids (which I had already told her it makes things worse), and send me to a pediatrics dermatologist.
