I was recommended through a friend at work, great doctor and staff, they walk you through all the steps and answer all your questions. Yes it is costly but it’s your skin and well-being and Dr.Haberman does have years of experience and I’m sorry but I don’t want cheap stuff or inexperienced doctors for my skin, especially my face which is what everybody sees!

He is excellent!! I highly recommend him to everyone. I’ve been having skin problem for almost 10 years. And I’ve seen a lot of Dermatologist in my life before. When I went there I didn’t have any hope to fix my skin problem at all, because I’ve done everything that doctors told me during past 10 years. The reason why I went there was I had an allergy attack, and there was a reaction all around my body. It was hurting so bad like I was burning inside and out. I went there with my mom cause she was panicking about the situation, and since he came in to the room he explained everything to me and my mother one by one. He ask me questions, and he listened to me very carefully. I show him the creams that i’ve been using for a long time. He asked me where did I get those creams from, he asked me even if any doctor gave it or no. And yes my dermatologist in Turkey, gave those creams to me with prescription. And told me to use it till it pass (it have never passed). One of them has high level of cortisone in it, and it shouldn’t have used for face ever. And the worst thing, once I start using that strong cream, there is no cream that could calm my skin after. So my face and my body got used to the cream. But Dr. Fredric checked all of my body, and my face. He was at the room for almost 30 min. He was very kind, and also his assistant was super nice to me. She did the allergy test very nicely, explained how to use the new medicines that I’m gettin now one by one. That place is perfect, good team work. I don’t feel the pain in my face now, and my body is getting better. It will be a long term for me to fix it, but I finally found the best doctor. Thank you Dr. Fredric!!

DO NOT GO HERE! I came here for acne, after switching doctors due to insurance change. He came in, and started touching my face with his dirty hands, without gloves. He didn't even wash his hands. I began telling him about the washes and products I use, and he bragged about working for Loreal and knowing Mario Badescu, but ignored my question. He told me not to use any of those products, and that he would tell me all at the end. He then left the room saying he had to speak to another patient before she would go crazy. He came back chewing peanuts and even spit on me while talking, and touched my face again with his bear dirty hands. Then, at the end I was persuaded into spending $100 on his branded washes and creams. (makes sense why he didn't recommend anything else) I said I would be ok with the pills and cream. The nurse said I cant have the cream unless I use the washes from dr.haberman. She said to come back in 2 weeks, I said no thank you. Terrible experience, rushed, didn't even help me or give me a treatment plan..i literally left there angry and with no help or answers. worst experience ever, save your time and money and go somewhere else

One of the only places open on a saturday. Short wait in waiting room Waited longer in the exam room but there were alot of patients there. Doc came in, looked at what he needed to look at, told me what we should do and then did it! Cant ask for anything more. As he was doing the procedure he explained what he was doing and what to do after. Great experience!

I was holding off on writing a review because I wanted to be sure I was cured before I write my review. This review is not to the doctor himself but to his staff. I have been to the doctor 3 times with a rash that will not go away. I've been having it for over a month. The doctor advised on the 3rd visit to take Hydroxyzine (2 tablets) 3 times a day. What the receptionist sent to the pharmacy was, Zyrtec. He also referred me to an allergist. If I would not know about medication, I would probably end up in the hospital. They called me from the office the next day and left a message to call them back no explanation and when I did, receptionist said there is no record of them ever calling me. I asked if I could speak to the doctor and receptionist kept asking me questions. I advised my situation and she says did you see the allergist to which I replied yes and I would like to speak to the Dr. She suggested its best to make an appointment. But, although this is an emergency situation, was not able to accommodate me with an appointment until next month. I don't know many people that would stand with this rash and go day by day about their day without going crazy. I will probably end up going to the hospital soon after this post. I just want an answer/diagnosis and medication or cream that will keep me sane.

Yes there is usually a wait but isn’t that the case with any good doctor? Worth the wait, I spent endless amounts of money on “acne” skincare from department stores and estechians. He found my problem which was from the inside and I couldn’t be more grateful! Chemical peels and products are great and fairly priced, he never tries to push too much on you.

Now here's a real one: I went to see Dr. Haberman on April 30, 2019 at his Saddle Brook office, after getting skin rash. I explained to Dr. Haberman that the previous weekend I mowed my lawn and also used Roundup weed killer. Dr. Haberman claimed that he wasn't sure and said he didn't know what the cause was, and so decided to do two punch biopsies on my thighs. I went home and a few days after that, the rash condition was gone, so there's no need for further treatment, but I do want to know the biopsy results and to know if it is indeed the weed or weed killer, so I can avoid it in the future. I'm also entitled to know the test results because I paid for them already as part of my visit to Dr. Haberman's office. Now more than two weeks after I saw Dr. Haberman, I still received no phone call or any communication about my biopsy results. So on May 17, 2019 I called Dr. Haberman's office to ask for the test results, only to be told by one of Dr. Haberman's employees that "according to the policy" I have to make another appointment to visit Dr. Haberman to learn the results. I asked this employee to tell Dr. Haberman to call me back and communicate with me about the test result. On May 18, 2019, Dr. Haberman called me and said he doesn't communicate test results over the phone and with an extremely threatening tone he said, verbatim: "You wanna know the results? You know what it means? Because I'm not gonna tell you what it means. I'm not gonna consult you." This is utterly unacceptable coming out of a doctor's mouth. Every doctor I have ever visited communicated with me about every test result over the phone or email and never threatened me to "make another appointment" to learn the results. Informing me about the biopsy results should be Dr. Haberman's obligation to fulfill his professional duty and to complete his consultation on my first visit which I've already paid for. Instead, Dr. Haberman held on to the results and used it as an extortion tool to force patients to pay for another visit. No business, certainly no doctors, should act in this manner. I was deeply offended and troubled by Dr. Haberman's lack of basic professional decency. I had contacted the NJ State Board of Medical Examiners to launch a formal investigation into Dr. Haberman's practice and revoke his license to practice. Almost all the Yelp reviews of Dr. Haberman reflect similar experiences and express frustrations over his business practice.

I was looking forward to his diagnosis considering his many years of expertise. Sadly, I was unimpressed when he had no idea what my back skin condition was, and instead went through a series of mistrials at my expense of hundreds of dollars with no solution in sight. He was impatient and even rude to me. I even overheard him speaking to one of the nurses out in the hall once when they were deciding what to tell a different patient for something they had no clue about. It's like they make up diagnosis to keep people coming around or prolonging any resolution at a money making scheme. Stop wasting people's time and money, just cut to the chase with the needed remedy!!

Dr. Haberman is without a doubt the most professional and competent dermatologist I have ever gone to, have had many over the years, being blue eyed and fair skinned, have been going to his practice for over 10 years. His Expertise is impeccable and knowledge and bedside manner are second to none. The last attribute in particular is a dying art. Procedures are completed smoothly with minimal pain, I have had multiple skin cancer surgeries- little to no scarring! Recommend his practice highly and without reservation.

I love the sun, the sand during the summer. However my skin paid the consequences of it, it was full of lines, dry. I was very depressed to the point that i started to buy products or so called miracles products to treat the wrinkles on my face. For all my appointments, the wait was always at least an hour. Abviously the staff there does not know how to schedule appointments. I did an ice peel for acne scars as the Dorctor and his assistant recommended, and I was told the result is guaranteed, I ended up getting black discoloration on my face and had to buy $109 cream from the office to get rid of that. They always sell you their products, one treatment will lead to another sale, no idea what I am getting into!!!

Dr. Haberman is an excellent, brilliant and amazing procedural and aesthetic dermatologist. He works like an artist and a sculptor. My aesthetic and surgical results were great and he pays attention to every detail. He is a very down to earth person and my friends and family have been treated by him for years with excellent results. There was very little wait time and the office staff is very helpful and caring. In general the attitude of the office and doctor Haberman were exemplary. He pays attention to every detail and takes his time with you as a patient. He took his time explaining the procedures to me after taking a very thorough history and doing an examination very carefully and using a dermascope and magnifying glasses. The staff reviewed all fees in advance and discussed whether insurance coverage would apply to the consultation or any procedure that was performed. There were no surprises. His fees were very fair and the office was very helpful with respect to finding a reasonable pharmacy for my prescriptions. They went way beyond what I expected from a dermatologist. I would give him ten stars if permitted.

Long wait time but that's because he takes his time with each patient, fully explaining everything. Another upside-- I purchased his #50 sunblock after experiencing sunburn after using a different store bought product (also #50). His sunblock worked so well, not even a tad pink-- I started using it on my little ones. We are currently in Wildwood in 90 degree sun and the product is awesome. Totally recommend. Had 2 mile removals, no scarring. He cares about his patients. Period.

When I found out that I had a skin cancer on the tip of my nose, I started researching qualified Mohs-procedure surgeons. Every road led to Dr. Fredric Haberman and I now know why. Yes, Dr. Haberman has all the wonderful characteristics mentioned in other reviews - thorough, concerned, professional, kind, and more. But beyond these factors, Dr. Haberman is an incredibly skilled surgeon. In my case, the Mohs procedure required the doctor to carve out a hole in my nose (slightly larger than the diameter of cigarette burn), which then needed to be stitched up in a fashion that would leave minimal scarring. As you can imagine, I was absolutely terrified, and also convinced that there was no way my nose would ever heal from such an invasive procedure. Dr. Haberman (and his equally kind, attentive and professional staff) did an absolutely outstanding job on my Mohs procedure. He explained every step in the procedure as we went along, gave me options where relevant, and operated both thoroughly and quickly. Dr. Haberman made very sure that she removed all of the dangerous cells, while also protecting the healthy tissue wherever possible. Ultimately, he had to create several significant incisions to repair the site of the damage, and very skillfully manipulated the skin to close the hole. Dr. Haberman has generously offered laser treatments, which will continue to reduce any scarring. But in reality, most people don't even notice the scar - I could happily live with it as is. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Haberman for tackling a scary surgery in a very highly visible location. I give him five stars!!

I went to Dr Haberman’s Ridgewood office concerned about a skin infection on my foot. Since I was about to venture on a 2 week hiking vacation in Utah, this was especially concerning. I called the morning before my trip and Dr Haberman’s staff squeezed me in later that afternoon. Dr. Haberman was attentive, thorough, and honestly a little funny. Really cool guy who shared his own hiking stories. Super down to earth, and advised me to contact him and send pictures if my foot condition did not improve so that he could work with me long-distance if need be. I didn’t end up needing to do that since he got it right the first time. My foot is good to go and my vacation has been great!

This is my follow up office visit .I had my acne treatment with Dr. Haberman. He prescribed me accutane due to my severe cystic acne. After 7 months of treatment I am free from acne. This happened every time I went to the office until the last time I went. They fed me lines of what to say and stood while I wrote the review. I didn’t feel like I could leave an unbiased review with them there, which is why i’ve gone back and edited my original review. The doctor was great, but that kind of interaction with the staff made me uncomfortable and I’ve since stopped going.

There's no doubt that Dr. H is experienced and knows what he's doing, he not so modestly makes it clear with his numerous awards and certificates plastered throughout the vicinity including exam rooms. However his bedside mannor, patience, scheduling, and overall personality completely take away from any of his credentials. He completely disrespects the time of all of his patients. The wait time to see him is always at least an hour. He is rude, mildly racist, and too pretentious for his own good. No one should have to sacrifice good care for someone who is going to treat them with disrespect. Yes, he knows what he's doing. No, he is not a pleasure to work with.

My experience with this doctor was terrible and completely uncomfortable. Its as if he was rushing me out of there, he wouldn't listen or even seem to understand what I was trying to explain to him. I would tell him I haven't worn earrings in my second and third hole in years and he told me I have been. I think I would know better then him. If he would have taken a closer look he would have seen I can't even get an earring through. The office itself was sketchy. I would rather pay out of pocket and go to a true professional then ever return to this doctor.

I was never informed on what medication I was receiving and when I asked, the staff was very , very rude. The wait time is ridiculous and I was never informed about any billing. Highly highly don't recommend. They give you an attitude when you ask something but still somehow expect to get your service and money--Don't make my mistake and go to this rude, arrogant practice.

Really sketchy experience. After a 40 minute wait (not the end of the world so I didn't react) the doctor saw me and immediately began to rub my acne with bare fingers that he hadn't washed in the room; I hope he'd washed them elsewhere but the fact that he rubbed so hard grossed me out regardless. I asked specifically for advice on my skincare routine, which is what I'd come for, and he wouldn't give it to me- he said "the nurses would explain everything later" and continued prodding at my face. He then insisted that he inject my acne with cortisone (this was my first time seeing him and I'd been there 5 minutes) and after I said a flat no at first he kept pressuring me to go through with it. I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable as he heckled and pressured me until I agreed to get these shots; it was completely unprofessional that he continually pushed me, especially because I was visibly upset and had said no a few times. Doctors are not supposed to push procedures that patients REPEATEDLY say no to. All I came for was a consultation and skincare advice, which I kept asking for, and he simply wouldn't give it to me. Instead, he sent me to check out. There, the nurses tried to sell me some of his products and in that moment I knew how much of a scheme this was. It was clear that from his attitude and from his aggressive pressuring that there was no way I was trusting this man, let alone spending money on his products that the nurses quite nearly pushed onto me without batting an eye. I have NEVER had a kind of experience like this before at any other dermatologist, and in my time being there I felt pressured, violated as a patient, and pressured to buy products without any prior notice. I felt disgusting afterwards.
