Rude, lazy, and unprofessional staff

I been to this doctor a couple of times & the wait time is so long. Then the people who work at the front desk are rude & don't know anything. Not to mention, they gave my insurance cards to someone else and then argued with me that I never gave them my insurance cards and when the lady returned my insurance cards to the front desk, they didn't even an apologize for the mistake. Another time my daughter called to make sure that they received her referral and the lady checked and told her yes, then when she went to her appointment she was told that she needed a new referral, so my daughter explained that when she made the appointment she asked the lady if she received her referral & the lady told her yes. So basically they lost her referral & had her wait over 1hour before they notified her that they could not see her cause they misplaced her referral. Today, I called to see if they will see my daughter without her insurance cards but when I called, I was placed on hold for 15 minutes, so i hung up and called back & told him I was on hold for 15 minutes, just to be placed back on hold for another minute. I asked if they will see my daughter if I have the policy number & the group number and was told, I don't know. So I asked, who will know and the guy says, I don't know. So I asked if my daughter does go to her appointment, will she be seen and was told I don't know .

Horrible!!!! Everyone, be aware! That is the worst doctor ever. Waiting time is unmeasurable, you may wait up to 2-3 hours for 5-10 minutes inside the cabinet. This "doctor" doesn't even talk to you or answer your question. All what he cares is money you pay him. Do not go there.

Dr. Mgaskhan, the female doctor was very nice and helpful. The problem is her front staff was rude and unfriendly and when I had a clinical question I got transferred to the office manager who immediately denied that that has nothing to do with them and was very aggressive (not knowing the issue at all). Not returning unless I literally have no other option, even called to cancel and they called me day of my appointment even though I cancelled. Many other offices have nicer staff - not worth it.

I've been going here for years and have always been pleased with the female doctor, ( M ). The office has been up graded, that's a plus. However, I agree 110℅ that the office manager who by the way looks like he/she hasn't decided if they wanna be a man or woman. Moreover, the young Asia girl was extremely rude and even scolded me ie a 49 year old woman, by saying "I told you to fill out the 5 pages.... All 5. I told her "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't hear you." In a condescending way, she got the message. The other staff know me and or always very nice.

Wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I called to confirm their hours and planned on asking if my daughter could be seen today, but never got past the hours question. I don't understand why they were being so aggressive to such a simple question -- they wouldn't answer and insisted on asking if I had an appointment.

I have been to Dr. Demitri on many occasions to have procedures done and find him to be an excellent Dermatologist and surgeon, indeed it does get crowded but we'll worth the wait!

Horrible front desk service. Horrible doctor. I asked the lady at the front desk if she can be nice and stop yelling and ended up cursing me out instead. The doctor comes out and takes her side. Unbelievable. Definitely filing a complaint to the department of health about this. Everyone else who had a similar experience should also do the same.

Keep very good track of your billing information if you go here. Since I visited this "doctor" almost two years ago, I have received multiple bills. Each time I call, I firmly state that I already paid my copayment and deductible while I was there. I think they can tell I'm pissed, don't feel like arguing, and say "oh yeah, you're right, I see it here." I'm pretty sure Dmitry Khasak (who is TERRIBLE) is allowing his business to try to scam patients out of additional money. Seriously, don't go to this guy. But if you have to, make sure to keep track of EVERYTHING (and plan ahead for rude receptionists and a long wait).

I waited 2.5 hours to see the doctor and that was through an appointment. The waiting room is crappy and Asian receptionist had the rudest attitude. I truly believe that the only thing that was holding someone back from hitting her was the glass in between her and other patients. The other 2 receptionist were friendly. Besides the wait and the rude ass receptionist, the doctor was awesome and very genuine. She was also friendly.

I have worked here recently and I can honestly admit that the patient wait time is somewhat ridiculous; However, Dr. Khasak is an Excellent doctor and he really cares about all of his patients. I have also worked with Dr. Liliya, Besedina and she too is an excellent doctor. The wait time is very fair with her but she is only located in New York. I would say that Dr. Khasak and Dr. Liliya Besedina are the best providers here that I would absolutely recommend!

Made an appointment for 2pm, arrived on time, waited an HOUR until asking the front desk how much longer he would be when they finally decided to tell me that HE WASNT EVEN THERE YET. They told me he’d be there at 3:15. It’s 3:24 and he’s still not here LOL. Pathetic. Don’t waste your time because he obviously does not give a single F about his patients.

A very poor experience. The doctors typically run 1 hour behind schedule, the office is tiny so patients have to stand in the waiting room as they wait for the poorly scheduled doctors. The worst part is the horrible patient / customer service by the front desk staff. One of the main women behind the counter comes off as aggressive, rude and someone that doesn't really care one way or the other about the patients. I'm not sure if she is the office manager or not but she comes across as it. After going here for a year because it was close to my home, I am finally going elsewhere. As a Board Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Dmitry Khasak should be embarrassed with the lack of quality and professional care that his staff displays. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.

On April 18th 2017 I had an appointment to see Dr. Khasak at 11:15 am and there where calling people in before me as they walked in so I had waited almost two hours for me to be seen by the doctor so as soon the doctor had seen all his patients the doctor had left for the day and never got to see the doctor at all. So yes all the receptionist was unprofessional and very rude and didn't even ask me to reschedule the appointment all they said to me that I had to call to reschedule the appointment it was a waist of time I will never ever go to this office again the office is a mess and all the chairs where broken and floor all dirty so If you need to see a dermatologist I do not recommend this place for you....

Worst experience ever. Waited two hours despite being on time. Then asked the receptionists how much longer and they said after two more patients. I was like, “Wait a second I have to wait for two other people to come out?” She was like, “No, I mean two other people have to come in and then out, then it’s your turn?” -Oh, no thanks hun. -Just wait a little longer. -No thanks I’m out of here. Everyone that was waiting there got pissed and kept asking how long they had to wait. I mean it’s common sense people. They are overbooked. For them to have so much people there at the same time, it means they don’t have the slightest bit about organization management. I mean if you know the doctor takes about 45 min with every patient why would you give the appointments every half an hour. I also asked them how long does it usually take with every patient since everyone that went inside seemed to take forever. So is not about the patients people, it’s the staff. It means they don’t have enough personnel but still try to get everyone they can in, regardless of wasting people’s time.

Dr. Dmitry is a talented, dedicated, and compassionate Physician. I went to this office when I was new in town - I had seen the reviews and they were awful. I thought - I have seen the worst Derm offices - but the reviews here were so consistently bad... Being an auditor I was curious about the abnormally high "horrifics". Yes its a small office, they do a lot in limited space, but I went mid afternoon and the wait wasn't long. 10 minutes tops. I went again another day at 5:45pm and had to wait almost an hour- but that is peak doc hours anywhere. She has talented struggling young professionals in her employ and they are mostly helpful. Her office staff is insanely busy and I am sure may make a minor mistake here or there, but this Doctor, however astute, has twice showed me uncommon compassion and spent diligent time with me to talk about my challenges and correctly assess / adjust treatment with new solutions that are working - working very well. I think if you stay away from peak hours, the office will seem less crazy- as a frequenter of Derms across the east seaboard these last 8 years, I am pleasantly impressed with my experience here.

This was the worst experience of my life, I do not expect a professional’s office having an uneducated staff who will address the patients as she called me “stupid “ and threaten me to call police if I try to go to the office, because she gave me an appointment for 2:00 pm but wanted to "close the office at 2:00 pm. How organized the Office Manager is, who gets paid for disrespecting the patients. The so called Office Manager is very very rude, patients coming to the office are not members of the same illiterate community as this office manager, but actually are educated people who are holding private Insurances, that are facilitating these doctors to run their business. I want to know if Dr. Khasak is even aware of the disrespectful behavior this office manager is giving to the patients. Also the office is on Dr. Khasak’s name but he is not there, and the way the patients are handled he has no control over it . Dr. Khasak i will request you to hire an educated well behaved staff for your office.

The doctor I saw was great, and made sure I had coupons for the scripts she wrote me. The manager, however, is RUDE. I called for a refund due to a deductible scenario, and she told me to call back in two weeks and then I could go pick up a check. They won't refund my credit card I paid with and will not mail me the check. What kind of racket is this place? Update: Two weeks later and the manager wouldn't even talk to me. Had her staff run interference.

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. The waiting room is dirty with broken chairs and no pens to fill out paper work. I waited over an hour for my scheduled appointment. My biggest regret is not walking out the door. They took skin biopsies and told me they would call in the next 7-10 days if there was a problem, and if not don't worry about it. THREE weeks later they called about an abnormality. I have called back several times and left messages, unreturned. Now their mail box is full and its over a month I still don't have my results. Finally I got a hold of someone and they said the only time I can come in is on Monday 2-6pm? It's my fault that those 4 hours window doesn't fit into my schedule. Who runs a doctors office with four hours of business a week?! Now I have a letter in the mail stating it is urgent I contact them for an appointment. Still NO answer!! It's been over a month and I still don't have my biopsy results. MALPRACTICE. DO NOT GO HERE

I've always met w/Dr.Martinez (I believe ) & she's great! She's very welcoming, friendly, & quick (once you're in the room ). The problem I have isn't w/her or any of the nurses(he's friendly also) but it's w/the receptionists. For the few times I've been there ,they've NEVER called w/a reminder/ confrimation about my appointments. I've had to call every time to confirm if I was still scheduled. Even w/my first appt (made through a 3rd party) I had to call & confirm. The appt after that, I called (day of my appt) which at first they said I wasn't scheduled ( I was more than certain I was) & then all of a sudden they found my appt. Also I missed my most recent appt b/c I wasn't called w/a reminder. I mean for crying out loud there's 2 or 3 receptionest at that desk & not ONE of them are required to call & confirm appts (like at any other practice)? Also you can forget about calling to ask questions about the medicine or creams prescribed to you b/c the receptionits are clueless to them & even when they say they'll call you back w/answers ,they don't! I honestly want to like this practice but those receptionists need more training!

The absolute WORST staff on the planet. If there was a way to give them a negative score I would give it to them. Wait time, regulations for elderly patients, no accommodating nature. Took LITERALLY 3 days of calling ALL day for someone to give the results of a biopsy!! They have zero compassion and are more incompetent than any office staff in existence!!
