The billing department is so incompetent. Copay of $50 was paid in cash before a service was provide in 2017. I spent hours explained to them the $50 was paid back in 2017. So they told me it was taken care of. 2018 came and they put the $50 back to my account. How can you bully people into paying you when it was already paid up?!?! Now they have the audacity to send the $50 to collection agency when it was already paid upfront with CASH at the time a service was provide, and we had the receipt for the cash payment. They are such a nightmare. Where is the lawyer? Let's start a class action against Atlantic Medical Group. It looks like I am not the only person have this bad experience with their billing practices.
Update on 6/19/2019: Atlantic Medical Group is a SHAM. They keep sending different balances to the collection agency, CMRE Financial Service, Inc (3075 E Imperial HWY SUITE 200, BREA CA 92821-6753) when the balances were paid off with a check mailed and deposited. I called the number Charlene McCallum provided and explained the 5th time how the balance was actually paid off with cash and how I still kept the receipt. The patience experience specialist on the phone said she would adjust the account to reflect the fact that payment was made and would communicate with CMRE regarding the balance. It turned out what she meant was to close out the old collection account CMRE, then open a new collection account and bill me for services rendered on other days, which already paid for with check and deposited by Atlantic Medical Group. AGAIN, I am calling on any MEDICAL BILLING FRAUD ATTORNEYS out there. Please look into Atlantic Medical Group billing practices. They need to be audited and find out why they keep sending balances that's already been paid off to the collection agency CMRE Financial Services Inc.
