My experience today between BOTH locations was excellent and prompted me to write this review, especially seeing the previous reviews. We've always had a good experience with the docs here, so this is in regards to the office/administration. I had a mix up today with appt location between myself and my daughter which caused us both to separately drive to Morristown (we live close to Bwater) for an appt that was in in fact, in Bwater. It was very early, and it kinda stunk, but the error was on our end. To top it off, my daughter's phone was dead so she couldn't call me (the morristown receptionist charged her phone for her) The staff worked to still get us in very quickly back in Bwater which as wonderful because my daughter is heading back to college. I have found, in the past (reason for only 4 stars) that the staff is PROFESSIONAL, but not necessarily friendly/warm. Was completely different today!!! Everyone working there was kind and helpful. So, I wanted to share the experience, especially because I was initially skeptical to even bring my daughter here based on reviews. Sometimes people only share the negative stuff. Keep that in mind.

receptionists and front office staff need to be tossed onto the street and a new group that takes time to think before they speak should be brought in. My son will not be going back.

Saw Dr. Farag and the wait time was 45 minutes just to get into a room. Once in a room, I waited 45 minutes. He looked at my skin and said he had no idea why I had this rash. So he took a photo of it and excused himself. After another 20 minutes he came back and said it was an allergic rash and he gave me an rx for 2.5% cortisone. This med made the rash worse. I had to go for a second opinion and was actually diagnosed with something different and was treated with appropriate meds. I will never return, I should have read the reviews before I went in.

You could show up an hour and a half after your scheduled appt time and you would still have to wait. Every time I'm here I sit out in the waiting room for 1 1/2 hour plus before I'm called back ridiculous. Have had it never coming back here again.

Waited over an hour.

I’ve had three moles that had to be removed because the biopsy results had shown abnormal cells. The first two procedures, no problem insurance covered the whole thing and it was done in the office. The third mole I had to get removed from my back last August and they sent me to the Morristown ambulatory office. I had no problem going from Piscataway to Morristown, leaving work early and having my husband leave work early so he can take me. One of the receptionists called to confirm my appointment, location, the time and with the doctor that I was going to see. But no one from the office called to explain my benefits before the procedure to let me know that my insurance wasn’t going to cover the whole thing so I didn’t look into it I just went had a mole removed thinking just like the last two times I would be fully covered. About a month later I get a bill from them close to $1000 I had to pay. I was furious to say the least. If I had to pay I didn’t expect it would be this much. I called the billing department and the lady who is in charge there gave me an attitude over the phone started accusing me of lying basically when I told her no one from the office or billing department called me to confirm my benefits. She kept saying that they did. The only call I got was regarding my appointment time, the location, and with the doctor and no one called to discuss my benefits for the procedure and what the insurance was going to cover. But the lady in the billing department kept saying oh someone called and left a voicemail we have record of it. Well I never got the call. They were either lying to me or assumed that the person who originally called went over my benefits. No one ever did. Then the lady in the billing department said she would reason with me and take $300 off of my bill if I agreed right then and there. Who does that? That wasn’t the point they didn’t call me I had no idea I was going to be charged so much when in the past I didn’t have to pay to have a mole removed. They should’ve called and told me approximately how much it was going to come out to and what my insurance was going to cover. Am I wrong but aren’t hospitals and doctor offices suppose to go over that stuff with you prior to a procedure?! I had to pay everything. They wanted to make a deal with me, I wanted them to acknowledge with they did and that they were wrong, but they didn’t. So I’m not going back there anymore they were rude and nasty over in the billing department. All they care about is making money they don’t care about patients who maybe at risk for developing skin cancer and that’s why they have to get moles surgically removed. Save your time don’t bother to go there especially if you have to get a mole removed. Chances are you want get a call regarding your benefits explained.

Looked up Bridgewater office on line, called and made appointment. Arrived early and was told my appointment was for the Morristown office. They refused to see me. Apparently the only number listed is Morristown and if you don't specify an office they assume you are going to Morristown. Bad practice when you have 4 offices and so is not willing to fit me in after I drove 20 minutes to get here.

I was treated professionally and courteously at Affiliated Dermatologist Center. There seems to be many dermatologists available here and I had Dr. Cynthia. She was amazing! I saw results litterally the next morning. I had cellulitis and I was so scared that it was going to get worse because I had gone to a previous dermatologist and all he did was give me predsidone which did nothing to heal my cellulitis, he tottaly misdiagnosised me. Thank God I found a caring doctor here at this office. It takes me over an hour to get here but its worth it, too many other dr in this field just dont care, they give the same spiel and give you same medication the next guy got. Again, I am beyond lucky to have had her help and am absolutely thrilled with the results she provided.

Dr Fialkoff and nursing staff are 5 star. I did find the front desk staff, reception to be unhelpful, not at all like the doctors. But at the end of the day, I go for the quality of the treatment. I do wish they had better staff up front. They do fine with scheduling by phone etc.

Had a terrible Experience with Dr. Rob went there for itching he came in the room pulled up my pant leg looked at it ordered bloodwork to check for thyroid walked out of the room and then he put routine for the blood work and I’m still fighting with their office to get the pay the bill because Medicare wouldn’t pay it because they said it was routine I didn’t ask him to take this blood work he was looking for thyroid problem This doctor is terrible I would never recommend anybody and I wouldn’t go to this group either very poor recommendation Just be awareI

Stay Away. This is probably one of the worst dermatologist I have ever seen. They are extremely rude and don’t care about the patients needs. Their only interest is the money they will make off you. They are extremely hard to schedule an appointment with and when you do get an appointment they will make you wait for an hour plus after your appointment just to go in and be done in under two minutes. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

The office staff really does not give two s**** about their job or the patients. I came in to have an examination and the medication was not covered under insurance. The pharmacist called and in the meantime, they could not get in contact with the office. So I called and they answered (shocking), I gave the phone to the pharmacist who said the doctor needs to prescribe a med that is covered under insurance. Of course they were lazy and non-comprehensive because they patched me through to a pharmacy to assists with people that have difficulty paying for the medications. So I have no medication, and I'm calling my insurance company to complain because I did not receive service and I'm not paying for service I did not receive. And the pharmacist also told me she has difficulty always getting a call back from Affiliated Dermatology. THAT SAYS SOMETHING! STAFF NEEDS TO BE FIRED, YOU DON'T PLAY WITH PEOPLE'S HEALTH!

Seems like mixed reviews. Personally I was perfectly satisfied with the service and found them friendly enough.

I have always been seen promptly. Docs and PA's are courteous and caring. Needed a minor surgery for basal cell, it went seamlessly, and followups were done promptly.

Was just looking up the number to the office for my bi-annual skin check and saw all the negative reviews. My wife and I have seen Cynthia for the past 2 years and had great experiences there. Can't speak for other offices, but the Bridgewater one on Rt22 is pleasant and I've never waited more than 15-20 minutes. Yes, I am real patient :)

I was hesitant making an appointment here with all the bad reviews. I called and they got me in right away (new patient). They specifically asked which location, so I am not sure how people can mess that up. They were very nice on the phone. Today was the appointment and I did all the paperwork beforehand like they suggested. The receptionist was as nice as could be. The waiting room was very full so I was expecting a very long wait. To my surprise I was called back in 10 minutes. The appointment itself was very quick but doctor was very nice. I have nothing bad to say honesty! This place was a pleasure!

I went to Affiliated Dermatologists to have a wart removed from the bottom of my foot. I saw Hui "Faye" Tseng who froze the wart off my foot. She told me to elevate it and take Advil or Tylenol. That was on a Thursday. By the following week I was still in severe pain and couldn't put any pressure on my foot. I was due to leave for an internship out-of-state and was desperate to have my foot healed. I called their office several times asking for an appointment so someone could figure out why the wart had blown up into a huge blister. After repeated calls, someone finally called me back and told me to "pop" the blister. I was not willing to do that. I asked for an appt. and they told me to come in 1-1/2 weeks; that was the soonest they could get me in. I told them this was not acceptable. Couldn't they squeeze me in? They said no. I hung up, called my foot doctor, got an appointment that afternoon. He told me he never "freezes" warts off the bottom of a patient's foot; there's too many layers of skin to go through. He lanced the blister for me, put medication on it. Told me to put additional meds on twice a day and put fresh band-aids on it. I felt 100% better that night. I will never step foot in Affiliated Dermatologists offices again. They couldn't accommodate me while I was in pain that they had caused! Honestly they don't deserve the one star I gave them.
