Matt from Seacoast ortho saved my life! I was dealing with an injury for years and after going to physical therapists who pushed surgery and caused more damage to my body I finally was able to get back on my feet with Matt's guidance and heal my body with hid amazing well of knowledge and the incredible empowering attitude he carries. I'm forever grateful.

2 hours waiting on the line for someone to pick up. I started at 34th in line. 2 hours later finally got appt. Receiving phone calls at a medical office shouldn't be so difficult. It's not like answering phones and scheduling appts is a new thing.

Dr. Buckley has done several knee surgeries for me and other things to keep my knees in working order. He is remarkable and very very good. And he's real nice guy on top of that! These guys do sports so they know their stuff. I'm back playing racquetball every week, among other activities! Thank you!

I can't even get an appointment with a referral. The website has been down for trying to schedule an appointment. The 'Queue' when I call is always "14 in the queue" and I can't get through. Yesterday was '29 in the queue'! Why would I want to go to a doctors office where I can't even get through on the phone. I'm glad it's not an emergency!

I had surgery on my hand by Dr. Fleit (pretty sure I spelled his name wrong sorry) great surgeon no problems. It was a workers comp. case. Did my P.T. in the same building again great place. Now the reason for the 1 star. I did all follow up appointments and on the 2nd to last he said I had to wait a year from the date of surgery for my final appointment to clear out my case, they'd call to set something up. The year was up in January. I never heard from them. So in June I called and waited the customary 45 minutes on hold. When they sent me to the workers comp manger I was told they can't do my final appointment because they won't do final determination for Massachusetts workers comp she thinks, it was in my case notes from the previous manager she took over for. I asked what to do and was basically told to deal with it myself. I had changed jobs in February so no help from them and now it's September and I'm still trying to find someone to clear my case. No one I've talked to has ever heard of this happening. Also when in the waiting room the receptionists repeat every persons information back to them when they're on the phone in clear violation of HIPA standards.

I had my total knee replacement with Dr. David Thut. He was amazing. He is so friendly, caring, and above all takes the time to listen to his patients without rushing them. His staff is very friendly and cordial as well.

First off I had an appointment over two weeks ago the doctor wanted me to have an mri on my knees. On the way out I filled out the forms for the mri and was told that they would call in a couple of days to set it up this has not happen tryed to call your office was 22 in Que 2hr later number 10 I hung up. MY time is valuable also and I do not need to be on hold for all that time I want that wasted time back or to be compensated for it. My wife called to make an appointment for her self held for over two hr hit the number for the appointment line got a women that told her she could not make the appointment because she had no computer . If you cant get your act together you should shut your doors and move on. hade to give one star or it would not let me post you do not deserve it.

I know how frustrating it can be being on hold for long periods of times. You would expect that not to happen at a drs. office. Especially one so well known to this area and beyond as one of the best orthopedic services around. But, I also understand what it is like with a new system put into practice. After our company changed to a new system it took months to work properly so we could settle down to normal procedures. Give it time. Your dealing with the best. They are not doing this to us personally. We are a generation of instant gratification with no patience. I feel bad for the good doctors who are tying their best to help all of us to the best of their ability under trying circumstances.

I saw a PA... Chris Jones. Totally useless. They use the PA's as blockers for the "real" doctors. Guy gave me about 45 seconds with one foot out the door... go see someone else.

I've had 4 surgeries from multiple surgeons and nothing but praise for SOS - Two ruptured quads (10 years apart), Impingements in both shoulders. They have also treated me for broken wrist/hand bone, both MCL's (one I'm about to have a tear repaired on). Never had a problem with getting appointments, getting records when I needed them or anything else I've ever needed. This place has been nothing short of AMAZING for me!!

Had an appointment with a surgeon specialist and was "bait and switched" to a P.A. I'm not confident with the diagnosis and will have to pay for a second opinion somewhere else. Waste of my time and money.

Not a place for specialized situations only basics. Basically told me to have a thoracic scan done and go to Mass General doctors. When called to book Mass General said they never advised for cat scan because they do there own. Waist of money......

If you are looking for a back specialist, DO NOT go here. The office staff was kind and helpful, that's where the good experience ended. I had an appointment with the spine surgeon, and after filling out exessive forms in the waiting room, then sitting around until nearly an hour after my appointment was scheduled to start, I found myself in the office with not the person I had waited over four weeks to see, but rather Jason Doran, a PA. First warning sign right there. He barely examined me, and after explaining that at 18 years old I had been having serious back pain due to an injury for over a year and a half and that I had taken several weeks lying in bed and resting with no results, he sent me to a PT without doing any scans or x-rays. He said if nothing happens after 12-14 weeks to come back to see him. After arriving at the PT, I found out that he had recommended core strengthening. That was it. This is blatantly ridiculous seeing how I am a ballet dancer, which I explained to him. The PT was great, but she was just doing what she was supposed to do, which even she commented was silly considering my existing core strength and control, but we both knew that he wouldn't see me again until 12 weeks of PT. After that time with nothing helping, I went back to Seacoast Ortho, made another appointment with the spinal doctor. Again, I got stuck with Doran, the PA. He ordered an MRI. The imaging staff were great. Very kind and helpful. When we went back for an appointment to look at the MRI, Doran clearly hadnt even glanced at the scan before we were in the room with him. Very unprofessional. He looked at it, said there was nothing wrong, and despite my persistent leg pain, numbness, and weakness, he insisted that there were absolutely no pinched nerves. He was extreamly dismissive through the entire process, and basically said "it must be a muscle injury, there is nothing we can do to help you." And sent me home with no other recommendations on who to see next. Terrible experience. Huge waste of money and time. If you want to see a back specialist DO NOT go here. Find somewhere else. Literally anywhere. Five stars for the office and imaging staff, ZERO stars for the PA.

The office staff are pleasant and helpful. The facility is clean. The nursing assistant was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, these are the only positive things I can say about my experience there. Though the wait time was long- 45 minutes in the waiting room and 20 in the exam room- it was mostly used filling out the unusually long form which asked questions I had no answer for, such as my paternal parent's health issues. The most disappointing part of my visit was the provider's obvious lack of knowledge about my back issues and his lack of attention to my reasons for my visit. I have adult onset scoliosis. He tried to convince me that I must have had it as a child which is highly unlikely as for one reason, I have never had any curvature in my spine and have had many xrays and examinations over the 60+ years that I have been alive. The second reason is that I began having a curvature in my spine in my early 60s that was noticed upon examination when I injured my back. When I asked him if it was progressive, his response was,"no", even though I have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis which causes a weakening of your bones and bone fractures. He seemed a bit surprised when I reminded him of that fact, but maybe it was the first he had heard of it as he likely just skimmed over the forms I filled out. He never addressed the pain I had mentioned on those forms that was in my neck and back from a fall I'd had recently. The time spent with him was rushed, but then that was just as well as the visit was a huge waste of time. I certainly will take the reviews I had read on here more seriously in the future. My advice to anyone looking for a competent spine doctor is to look elsewhere. Boston might be a better place to go.

I didn't get a call back for a referral ever... I called left messages and no one calls back. They have had my paper work for 4 weeks... I final got a hold of someone and all they had was excuses... that tehy are going thru changes...dose that mean it okay not to return your phone call for 1 week..

One star Review I was seen by Jason Doran PA who completed my physical assessment in a total of 45 seconds. I addressed the quality concern of having a less than 1 minute physical assessment with him at time of visit. He did not specialize in the area for which I was referred to this office but eagerly gave me his professional opinion. I addressed this concern with the office manager at check out and was told that must have been a scheduling issue. I would not recommend this provider, however the staff was nice and the office was clean.

I lost confidence in my diagnosis and treatment. I was sent upstairs to Hanger to get a brace, they screwed it up and i had they had to do another cast because they threw the first one away. The brace came in and it was horrible to wear chafing my skin causing a wound. I hit the reset button and started the process all over again with a different practice. The new podiatrist knew what the problem was without all the gyrations that the first podiatrist did. He said I needed an orthotic for the left foot as well as the brace for the right foot. I knew that as I already purchased one. My advice is to get a second opinion from some place else.

Kevin Butler

Called right at 8am when they opened and waited until 9:05am for someone to pick up. After over an hour of waiting for someone to answer the phone I gave up.

Waited 45 minutes for my appointment, had to leave as my time is important too. Can never get through on the phone have to actually go into office to make an appointment. Constant excuse that they have a new system. I am very familiar with Athena and the system is not the problem they need to hire more people.
