Absolutely great experience. Had been going to a larger chain glasses store in the mall for years and always felt rushed, impersonal and i don't think I ever got my glasses "in one hour". I wanted to try contacts and Lens Doctors got me in right away. Dr. Crusberg and everyone I interacted with were absolutely fabulous. I could not be more satisfied.

I love Lens Doctors in Dover! Great selection of frames, great staff and doctors. I go here and pay out of pocket because my insurance is not accepted here. Well worth every penny!

the lady was instantly money money all money up front literally talked about nothing else she made me feel like she was better then her attitude was stuffy. and didn't even look up my insurance first, therefore she didn't know i got 20% off the difference after insurance which I didn't know either I called my insurance after and found out needless to say I took my business somewhere else to places that take half now half later

They seem to go out of their way to block buying contact lenses from 3rd parties. My prescription verification was initially rejected every single time despite being accurate. Most recently, they denied the exact order they had just verified two months earlier because their policies conveniently change at random. The doctor would not speak to me to explain why.

Need glasses fast? Don't go here. At 43 I have decided to try glasses due to some blurry signs and plates while driving and computer screen text difficulties from 5 feet away. Doctor was easily confused and changed my glasses order from "computer reading" to farsighted assistance by my request ONLY once I had to explained to him multiple times that I also had trouble reading the PC screen from 5 feet away. He finally got it and said that 5 feet away from the screen is also considered far distance. It's not a big deal, but the condescending, "thought you said you could read the computer screen" attitude was annoying. I can read it, when sitting close. Selection of glasses is limited but not terrible. I actually found a nice pair but it takes a really long time to get them. It's been two weeks now and I still don't have them because they stated that the Thanksgiving holiday increases the time by two days. Seems like a long time but I guess just be ready to wait a minimum of 14 non holiday business days. 3 weeks in normal time. Never heard of it taking that long to get glasses made, but..umm..ok. Hopefully my prescription is correct once I receive them or I will have to wait another 3 weeks to get the glasses. I am not confident at this point. EDIT: I didn't get my glasses on time for my trip because they claimed they lost the pair I ordered entirely, but the store gave me another pair (chose a frame from a drawer of 40+ random pairs) for free which they made the same day. I was able to use them on my trip. Very pleased with that pair.

The staff in Dover are wonderful. Dawn helped me pick out a great pair of Ray Bans, very fancy! Dr. Crusberg was awesome. By far, the nicest optometrist that I’ve ever had! If I could give them six stars I would!

Had an eye exam here. They were very fast yet professional and made sure you didn't have any unanswered questions. They also were good about going over insurance policies as well. Great practice.

Wasn't sure about Lens Doctors since it was a chain but wow, was I surprised. Professional, clean, great service, great experience. My doctor as well as the staff, spent a good amount of time with me making sure I was happy.
