SO happy we found this dentist office for our kids!First it started in the waiting room- tablets built in to the wall where we played virtual basketball, a giant sensory block for my baby to play with, super clean and gorgeous building. My son who's 8 was extremely comfortable during the xrays and cleaning and said "I could do this all day" when asked how it was going for him. He laid in the seat, with sunglasses on, while holding the remote watching Netflix. Yes sir, I could do that all day too! Brought my baby girl for her first visit and it was so cute they have a photo prop room so it was really special with "first time at the dentist" photos. My only complaint is that I can't go there too!! HIGHLY recommend this dentist the staff is so gentle and caring and very knowledgeable, extremely kind to the kids!

The staff here was so amazing! They totally put my daughter at ease and she had a great first dentist appointment. She's already mentioned wanting to go back. I would recommend this place to anyone dealing with any sort of dental anxiety. Louann and Dr. Mindy were great!

I recently visited the new pediatric dental office in town with my 6 yr old daughter. I work in dentistry myself and was very impressed with the whole experience... from the friendly greeting when we walked through the door, to the attention to tiny details throughout the whole office for both children and adults (an enchanting map of Lake Winni, and a fun photo booth!), right down to the explanation of services and fees. The whole environment was relaxing and entertaining, even for my son who had to tag along. The staff was great and so accommodating for our unexpected situation. Dr. Mindy was a true gem in explaining and caring for my child in the face of what could have been a fear inducing catastrophe. She communicated perfectly and handled the whole concern with grace and compassion, quickly earning the trust of my daughter. Her passion is evident, and that is so important for treating children. And the best part was when we had to return later that same day, both my kids ran from the car right in through the front door full of excitement, leaving me in the dust... We will DEFINITELY be back! Welcome to Alton and Thank You All So Very Much Dr. Mindy and Lakeside Smiles for taking care of my family!
