If you have ever wished going to the dentist was exactly like going to a used car salesman, this place is perfect for you. The whole experience seemed very scripted, like a first year business student was running the place for a class project. Not to mention the Dentist(s) force all the staff to refer to them as "the Doctor" (gigantic eyeroll).

Words cannot sufficiently convey how pleased I am that we moved our family to JD Howard dental. We've been coming here a couple years, now. The front staff is friendly and efficient. The hygienists are awesome. Our son is high-function autistic and they take GREAT care of him. All three daughters have good experiences here, and Dr Mark is "easy on the eyes" from what I hear. I've had a minor surgery here and was very pleased with everything. The place is geared for efficient, friendly, effective care. All medical offices should be run like this. I'd give it ten stars if I could.

Typically the dentist isn't everyone's favorite place to go, but I genuinely enjoyed my visit. I had two back teeth removed, both were simple extraction. The initial vist was 150.00 includes the exam and x rays. The visit for both extractions was under 550.00. Compared to other places price wise this is very fair. The staff was amazing and made me feel very comfortable.

Relatively new patient. My "old" dentist retired... been going to him for 35 years, so transitioning to a new dental practice was a bit stressful. Had heard good things about JD Howard Dental, LLC and they are just down the street from our house. Have been in 5 times for everything from cleaning to crowns and have been totally satisfied with the care, professionalism, and friendliness of the staff. They made the switch smooth and enjoyable and I highly recommend them. For your dental care, I don't believe you could do any better.

Very good experience getting a cap/crown on one of my teeth. Dr. Mark was very gentle. I didn't even know that he gave me the shot to numb my gums. Overall great experience from cleanings to fillings when needed to crowns made right in their office!

Everyone there was very nice and professional. I was just taken aback by the cost of everything. I knew my "consultation" was $350 then later found out that did not include a cleaning. I was given a comprehensive exam with xrays and pictures. Later I was given a "plan" for my dental care. The first two items were scaling my teeth for over $600, and they wouldn't clean them unless I had that done first. A multi-page plan was given to me, to the tune of almost $7,000, for filling replacements, proposed crowns, you name it. I specifically asked if they found any decay/cavities, and the answer was no; but the fillings could eventually fall out or break, which is true, and I shall deal with that when the time comes. I am on social security and have no dental insurance. It's a fine establishment, state-of-the-art equipment, great people, but a bit too rich for my blood.

Friendly, helpful staff with up-to-date technology. I would have given all 5 stars, but I have one, seemingly minor gripe. They recommend electric toothbrushes, but always give you the manual one after every checkup. Why not a replacement head for the electric toothbrush? It's almost like the message is "here is some cheap stuff that we don't recommend you use... But, Hey! Look!.... It has the name and address of our practice on it!" Sweet, I'll be sure to keep it in my pocket the next time I venture out and can't remember where my dentist's office is...

A great place to choose if you are looking for or want to switch your dental care.I wish it had been like this when I was a kid.We had a full consultation of treatment, procedures and cost.Everything went as planned and I am extremely satisfied with the results.Dr. Benton and Doretha were my main people on my case and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I've been going to JD Howard for almost 20 years, when I first moved to NH after college. I've experienced their expansion, change of locations, and application of modern technologies. They work hard to keep my teeth healthy even if I don't. They make caps on site, screen for cancer, and seal my good teeth to last longer. During procedures, Dr Josh consistently checks on the patient comfort level and when my jaw gets tired, or anxiety levels. The staff are happy and have been the same friendly faces year after year. Jennifer has been my hygienist for all those years, and I'm always treated with respect and kindness. Dr. Josh has taken JD Howard Dental into the new millennium with great success. I've recommended JD Howard to 6 friends over the years and they're all regulars now!

Never thought I'd write a review about my dentist, but JD Howard is not your typical dental office. The staff are professional and thoughtful at every level, on every visit. From the admin staff to the doctors, everyone seems to have your health, budget, insurance, and schedule in mind so they can make a plan that works for you. Then they help you stick to the plan by making the cleanings and other procedures as thorough and as pain-free as possible. Many thanks to Dr. Josh and Dr. Jack for getting me back on track over the last couple of years.

Words cannot begin to describe how awesome this dentist office is. From the first interaction on the phone with reception to actually meeting the team and having dental work done, everything was amazing. I have had very bad experienced previously with multiple dentists growing up as I've always had to have major work done with soft enamel. Walking into JD Howard Dental everything changed. The entire team really cares about the individual patient to the extreme. The hygienist was aware of my stress of being in the chair and worked tirelessly to keep me calm in even just doing a new patient work up. She was very kind and understanding and really made sure I felt comfortable. As for Dr. Ben, he did an amazing job in understanding my anxiety with having to get fillings fixed along with my front tooth debacle and really worked to keep me comfortable throughout the entire process. Providing anti-anxiety options prior to going into the office and walking me through the entire medical process while in the chair was amazing. The team made it feel like an easy Monday morning activity and not a stressful procedure. Thank you to the entire team for such a fabulous first two visits to the office. I am happy to say I've found my new dentist.

I love JD Howard dental. We’ve been going since my daughter was 11 months old. They make you and your child so comfortable and confident. I love how all the staff talks to my child like she’s a person yet tries to engage her in fun silly things not caring how they may look to an adult. They also have a no cavity board where they post your child’s photo after the visit and you get to take the old one. I would highly recommend them to anyone with children. I haven’t tried them as an adult but I plan to in the future.
