I thought I had hip problems and after getting a glowing recommendation from a friend, scheduled an appointment with Russell Nevins. Before my appointment, another friend mentioned that when he needed a hip replacement, Dr. Nevins was great. Dr. Nevins listened to my symptoms carefully, examined me and x-rays thoroughly, and said he thought the problem was not my hip, but my spine. He ordered MRIs of my hip and my spine which confirmed his diagnosis. In the last month I have met two other people who also have had great experiences with Dr. Nevins.

Initially did ny hip surgery. Has bever been right. I went for 1 yr follow-up, he told me "if you were my brother I'd tell you to deal with it". Still having problems. Tried to make appointment. Kept getting put on hold. Finalky went to office. Wouldn't make appointment til I paid $13.00 balance. Paid balance. Told next available appointment was in 4 months. After I complaining I left. The next day got a letter discharging me,as a patient saying they nolonger wanted me as a patient. Have heard this same thing from other former patients. Apparently they want everything wonderful. If there's a probkem they don't want anything to do with you.

Dr. Nevins did am amazing job on my mom's knee. She healed very fast and without any infection. I recommend him 100% and my mom can't wait to do the other knee soon.

Was referred here by the ER for my wifes broken shoulder. Tried 3 times to get an appointment: Attempt #1: 25+ minutes on hold, was disconnected. Attempt +2: 20+ minutes on hold, finally got a person on the phone. Gave all of the info, was asked to "hold please". another 20+ minutes on hold. Then told that they would call us by close of business. They called 6 hours later and left a message, asking that we call. Attempt #3: Attempted to call back, was again place on hold. After another 20+ minutes my patience had expired, hung up. I sought, and received, care elsewhere, on the same day. I attempted to call the next 2 days to ensure that any appointments made were cancelled. When I did finally get somebody on the phone, they had no record of us in their system. If you use these guys, good luck. The Doctors may be good, but the staff definitely needs help.

I was patient for eight years Office staff became rude because of long wait for insurance company to authorize my medicine. They did not process paperwork properly and resented me inquiring of status. Nevins sent me a letter discharging me as a patient because he said he did not like the way I interacted with his staff. I can't remember ever such rude treatment from any health care

My father was a doctor, so doctors have never impressed me. This man impresses me. I've had many, many knee surgeries over the years. Dr Nevins is the BEST Orthopedic Surgeon I've encountered. Made knee replacement easy. Excellent skills, excellent demeanor.

I needed knee replacement and could not have been more blessed then to have been referred to Dr Nevins! He is truly a compassionate and kind man who knows his stuff! He told me everything I would be feeling and go through it every moment of recovery. When I went in for my one month visit he actually knew everything I was feeling every hour of the day! He didn't just replace my knee he actually put an extra little piece in there that made it so I was no longer knock kneed! Truly an exceptionally wonderful doctor! I was referred to Dr. Nevins by Dr. Kim, who I could also speak volumes about and how wonderful he is!
