Dr. Hall was recently (August 2015) assigned to the LSCCR Rancho location. Here's why I strongly recommend him. Although I could have honestly given Dr. Hall a 5 star rating after my first visit, now that I’ve seen him about three or four more times, I am absolutely sure. Dr. Hall is well educated, smart, relaxed, and patient. He is also easy to talk with and he listens carefully. Let me share a story that best represents Dr. Hall’s knowledge, intelligence, and character. Here it is. One of top issues on my list when I went to see my primary care physician (PCP) was what my veteran medical field cousin and sister and I thought was an advanced case of fingernail fungus. This condition makes your fingernails look ugly. If you looked at photos on the Internet, as I did, and compared them to my nails, you would agree as well. My PCP, whom I respect and like, immediately diagnosed them as fingernail fungus and prescribed a medication (Terbinafine 250MG) that I’d need to take for at least three months. When I went to pick it up, the pharmacist strongly recommended that I get a blood test to check my liver function every month! Although I had recently had a complete physical that showed my liver function was normal, I became very reluctant about starting this medication. As you can imagine, I spent hours online looking for information and patient reviews. I found that the medication is commonly used, but the side effects in a somewhat low percentage of people can be extremely dangerous. The worst were reports of people having to have liver transplants because of it. Since the next doctor I would be seeing was Dr. Hall (for the first time), and because this condition falls into his specialty, I decided to postpone taking the medication until I could get his opinion. After Dr. Hall finished taking care of the main reason I was there, I asked him if he had ever had any problems with the medication (Terbinafine). He said, ”No, I have not.” Then he looked at my fingernails and quickly said, “You do not have fingernail fungus.” I was both astonished and relieved. He went on to say, “You have… (some long medical term), which is caused by habitually picking on your fingernail cuticles.” I had been doing that very thing for years! He said, “If you can stop, your nails will clear up.” I assume that I was probably motivated by vanity since it looked so bad, I almost instantly stopped picking them. I was a tiny bit skeptical at first, but over a few weeks as the nails grew, I noticed that healthy nails were growing out at my cuticles. After several months, my nails were completely cleared up! I had not seen my nails looking that good in years! I was thrilled! I proudly and enthusiastically showed my “new” nails to Dr. Hall at my next visit. It was a gratifying and fun moment. Now every time I go there, I cannot resist showing him my fingernails again. :) I highly recommend Dr. Hall. I should also mention that his staff, which he brought with him, is outstanding as well. These people will try and extort money from you even when they know you don't owe anything. They contract with the insurance companies for payment and then try and squeeze more money out of the patient. And you can't go to the office to discuss the bill. You have to call their billing department who has been trained to hang up on you

Dr.Sururat Coulibaly is very thorough and has alot of knowledge when it comes to the best skin regimen for your skin type. I have been a patient for over 15 years , and she is wonderful. went for a dermatologist visit to Las Vegas Skin & Cancer center. DR Vuong PAC, Mai was the one who took a brief look at my condition (rushes all over my body) and give me a prescription (antibiotics and also a cream to put over my rushes). At night at felt like my rushes where getting worst, couldn't sleep all night. In the morning on my way to work called the clinic at first they told me that the only time the doctor could see me was going to be next Tuesday, after complaining whit the receptionist, she took my information and said the Doctor will call me back, this was at 9am. At 2:30pm, after not receiving one phone call from anyone, I called back and they put me on hold for more than 10 or 15 minutes, till I hung up. They where very prompt to take my co-payment and I'm sure they will bill the insurance right away, but they have no customer service whatsoever or care about the well being of the patients. I hope this review help others stay away from this clinics !!

Good physicians, office/phone setup not very good. I know in 2018 that insurance is a nightmare to deal with, I get that. The problem, from a patient perspective, is that everyone is so "busy" in the office that nobody is able to answer the phone when it comes to communicating with patients about prescription issues, for example. The current strategy is "leave a message and we'll get back within 2 days." That makes for a pretty inefficient communication model back and forth with the patient, even in cases where a prescription can be help up pending the answer to one or more questions. Related, I've had several cases where I miss the call, call right back within 10 seconds and it again goes to voicemail. This means that either you're not giving a good number for patients to call you back or you just make a point to never answer incoming calls. So, my biggest pet peeve or request for improvement is to rethink all your phone numbers and voice-tree / voicemail setup to be more efficient. Improving patient-office communication can go a long way in improving customer satisfaction and quality of care.

Give them a try! Have to say the bad marks made me hesitant about going here, but the wait was minimal and the nurse ERICA was so sweet and friendly it made up for the not-so-great thing which I feel was the computer pad they give you, after taking all your info first, which you have to sit and go through about 25 pages and answer questions and enter the same plus more info. It was so long that I didn't finish it until after Dr. Nick Benites finished his exam. This doctor was on it with everything, efficient and fast, maybe a little too fast but when I asked him questions he answered them to my satisfaction. Note: the computer pad thing was a real issue - there were 7 people in the waiting room at one point and every one of them was working on filling in their new patient information. But, thanks to Erica and Dr. Nick I will be going back. :-)

They never return phone calls to get prescriptions refilled when the pharmacy says they have to be authorized by the Dr. They don't even return the pharmacy calls.....EVER!!!! Horrible service!!!! 3 months later from the last post. Their promises to be better. Yet, here I am on a Friday trying to get authorization for a prescription and I can't anyone to ask the Dr to authorize it. All the tell you is they left a message that the Dr has 48hrs to respond to the message. Which usually means next week or never, I've experienced both at this location......again, good luck

They were able to get me scheduled quick with an appointment but horrible service. First, I wait for a hour and a half to be seen. Then, I get to the back the doctor is taking my history staring at a computer. I started to explain my rash to her because apparently no one told her why I was there. She was acting as if I was wasting her time. Looked at my rash for 2 seconds and prescribed me something. Didn’t ask if I was allergic to anything! How long I’ve had it! What have I tried! Now y’all know us parents already have medications at how we’ve tried before going to the dermatologist or doctor. She gave me a prescription for something I told her I already tried and speedily walked out the door. I almost want to call me insurance company on her to see what she going to bill for. Horrible service, never again.

To sum it up I came in because there has been a mole growing in my eyebrow for the past several years that recently started growing larger, and there has been a rash on my leg that appeared out of nowhere of which is extremely itchy. Office staff was not friendly at all which to me is no big deal as long as they receive and input all of my info correct. I saw Dr. Keesha Kaplan of whom I will never EVER go back to. she entered the room introduced herself and then immediately said the thing on your eyebrow is just a mole, now what's wrong with your leg. I explained and pulled dress up to show and she replies it's just eczema. SHE NEVER CAME WITHIN 5 FEET OF ME TO EXAMINE, OR EVEN LOOK AT EITHER OF MY PROBLEMS! I do not understand how she was able to make a viable diagnosis if she never even got close enough to look at size and or color, and texture of issues. Needless to say I will be scheduling another appointment with another dermatologist for a second opinion and a complete exam.

My experience at LVSCC was very professional, staff were all very pleasant, and ON TIME! Given a tablet to answer medical history questions, but no instructions, (although was rather self explanatory). One question asked if you drank alcohol, I checked "rarely". The next question asked how much alcohol did I consume in a 7 day period, the choices were listed, but nothing that would match up with "rarely". I don't feel that 1-7 drinks in a week is a rare occurrence!

Info for Veterans, If you have any other appointments at the VA on the same day and similar time; go to your VA appointments first and when you are finished go to this clinic. Not doing so it will cause you to miss your VA app. and as you are aware it takes much longer to reschedule an app with the VA. There is always a 45min wait at this clinic and well today I waited an hour and a half, thus missing an app with the VA healthcare. I'm outpatient here and it's an absolute waste of time; you wait an hour for a two second shot that can be easily done at home. On a good note, their medical assistants are very nice and sweet.

Let me start by saying, the staff has always been wonderful, especially Dr. Herman. The results from my allergy shots have been life changing. Well, on Monday I arrived to my 1:50pm right on time, 45 minutes later they finally call my name. I'm not exaggerating, it took less than 1 minute to get my allergy shots. It was frustrating to wait 45 minutes for a 1 minute appointment. Hopefully this was an isolated incident.

The service I received there was inadequate. The staff was extremely rude. I paid the $25 co-parent and left. Later I received a bill for nearly $200. I called their office to advise them I did not owe them any money and the employee there was extremely rude and hung up on me when I insisted I did not owe the money. Sat there for nearly 40 minutes before seen. Usually the skin doctor would check over your skin areas for any sign of skin cancer. This wasn’t the case. Treated for a skin rash. Receptionist very impolite, more like they were waiting for the patients to flatter them, not the other way around. Once treated, it went very well.

Dr. Hall was very attentive to our situation. He Appraised the concerned spots, did 5 biopsies and froze 22 other spots. His follow up is just a week later and we have appointments for surgeries for 4 of the 5 biopsies, the 5th was not necessary. He is amazing.
