I was sent there by my pain doctor, when I was being seen by the doctor he wanted to know why I was sent to him, he said I do surgery, you don't need surgery so he didn't know why I was sent to him but he had no problem collecting the copays, miss 2 he of work, charged $60 copays for what, I was sent somewhere I shouldn't have been sent, they should have waved the copays since they did nothing to earn it.

This visit was after ER treatment a must follow-up check to my fixed dislocated elbow in my right hand which was caused by a fell accident in my community sidewalks . The appointment was went smoothly helpful and response quickly . The assigned Dr.Lawrence Huff is Specialized in Adult Reconstruction Surgery for Shoulder and Elbow, I was so impressed with his friendly, humor but professional knowledge on his practice that eased my tension and nervousness from this accident. He is a good doctor so I give 4.5 stars.

This would have been a five as Dr Nevins is a very capable doctor but in walks the PA who didn’t do my surgery and who knew nothing about my case and I had made an appointment with the doctor. They did get the doctor right away!!!!

Dr. Stewart x-rayed both wrists and added a larger splint to ease the pain. He then referred me to another hand specialist for further treatment arranging the appointment for me.

Worst front office staff I’ve ever encountered. Never had any problems at centennial, but the ladies at the front desk here care more about their Grubhub deliveries than they do about patients. I recommend not try to bother them when it’s close to their lunch time.

Dr.. Was direct, knows his work and very honest with me. For that directed me to another Calleague of theirs. Explained, what he does and why he Couldn't help me, with my disordered and directed me right away, with another Doctor. The staff was Wonderful and sweet. I just wish Doctors & Staff understand, they were great don't get me wrong. My Service Dog Snow, was crying and Basically trying to sit in my lap, and getting in the way. They have to understand, the Dog is not misbehaving, he doing his job, I was having Anxiety & Panic Attack, Everything going wrong with me on the inside of my body, Snow was picking up on me and trying to calm me & help me. I don't show emotions anymore, your at a breaking point of NO RETURN, You have Shut Down. Give me 5 mins to let him know I am alright, can't say Ok, that means to him, let's go or get up or get me out the door. Just 5 mins. But again a lot of people do not know that. I used to be very vocal and verbal, crying the Jeckle & Hyde, Out of Control. Now I have shut down. But Again, the Doctor Was Fantastic & Staff. He Doctor Knows what he is talking about, when your hurting the Staff will work to get you in, I could of gotten in on Thursday, but I had a Ketamine Infusions that I could not Miss, she understood and said Monday. Right in. You have pain with your body, these are the Doctors & Staff to go to.

DO NOT schedule an appointment at the Desert Inn location!! They over-book causing a huge shortage of parking (I drove circles for 30 minutes before finally parking at a store down the street and hobbling on my BROKEN foot back to the office). The over booking also results in unreasonable wait times. Thankfully I planned to arrive early which saved me with the parking issue but then I didn't get to see my doctor until an hour and a half after my appointment time! And the staff admitted that the parking problems and office delays are a frequent issue! I've had marginally better experiences at DOC's other locations. Make your appointments anywhere but the Desert Inn office!!

First appt. January 8th : The front office staff was very courteous and helpful with all the entry paperwork. Dr. Stewart was attentive to my issues and decided that he would referr me to his partner who dealt with more involved cases such as mine seemed to be. I was not happy about the long time I would need to wait for that appiintnent which wouldn't be until Jan. 31 st. I am right handed and that is what hurts.

Reception personnel were very nice. The medical assistant who did BP and everything seemed very nervous and slightly unprepared. Took me to X-ray and when they brought me back to room. I sat there for what seemed like a very long time. So long that I thought I’d been forgotten.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Lee. He is the BEST spine specialist in Las Vegas and is a kind, caring, efficient, personable, very smart surgeon and I have complete faith and trust in him. He has performed major fusion on our daughter very successfully and gave her life back to her and he has been our doctor for years! He has also helped several of my friends with complete success. They all love him.

I arrived 5 minutes early instead of 15 to my appointment and they conveniently told me that doctor Perry has left. I had waited a month for this appointment and drove 15 miles to see this person. He should not have left when he had an appointment with me at 235. That is when he left at 230. It was sacrilegious. They either forgot about my appointment or were to good for me. Being a doctor is much more than having a MD license. it is about humanity, sympathy, and responsibility. And this Perry person definitely does not deserve the title.

July 04;2019 I was at the Desert Orthopaedic Center last July 2nd. The center was impressively beautiful, clean and orderly. The staff members were friendly, especially Ms Merilyn Dixon at the admitting office. The medical admitting forms were digitalized and I do not need to write manually. I was amazed, as I did not wait that long to see Dr. Russell Nevins...after my knee X-rays were taken by a friendly young lady. Dr. Russell came in with an assistant nurse, who was entering some information on her computer, while,Dr. Nevins interviewed me about my aching and painful arthritis knees. I felt that he was in a hurry. In less than one or two minutes he asked me to see a nurse, in charge of giving me a form to pay my bill. The nurse informed me that I need pre authorization for my gel knee injections. I have to be back after a week or so. I miss the explanation of my X-ray results, which I saw projected on a computer monitor. Maybe, with my next visit with Dr. Russell, he will explain more on my arthritic knee condition. Thank you. I saw Dr Maio for knee pain, and I had absolutely none of the negative experiences that it seemed people complained about. My wait time was 45 minutes ( for a first visit I had to fill out all the paperwork) and Dr Maio spent a good 15 min with me, including addressing ALL my concerns, questions, etc. He's super easy to talk to- that's important to me! And he's not eager to do surgery IMO, like many other doctors are. I definitely recommend him, I feel comfortable with him in every aspect. The office staff were very kind and seem like they really care about their patients.

Dr Perry is a very honest Dr, takes time with his patients. Dr Perry is amazing, has healing hands and is very gifted. I had started seeing him 5 years ago. Never was a pill pusher or a surgery pusher. He started out by doing physical therapy, injections, etc... Then my scoliosis started to worsen and give me nerve issues. Dr Perry considered surgery. I had accepted due to the amount of pain I was in. I had my T-2 to T12 fused. I couldnt have asked for a better surgeon. I was up walking on the 3rd day and back to regular activities in 6 weeks. His nurse, Diana is great. His PA, Elizabeth that performs surgery with him is great. They have a team that follows up with you a lot after surgery. The whole team in other words is wonderful.

I don't understand why stupid places make you set up appointments if the Dr is going to see you 40 minutes later and before that you wait from 20 to 30 minutes to be called in, so the whole time you spent there is more than one hour and a half, plus on top of that people goes there to check a part of the body in my case was my back and swelling on my legs and the orthopaedic comes out with loosing weight and special diet I never requested for any diet change or anything like that so even still I explained it to him about diabetes and I was following strict diet and the Dr insisted on me loosing 10 lbs by next month so guess what I'm not coming back, this place sucks I wish Google and other companies had the option to rate 0 to places like this one

Soon as I walked in staff who work at the front desk smiling and gave me info what I need to fill out the form. Actually I didn’t do much paper work that compares other pain center. Staff asked me my medical condition and she put it in the system right away. Which is I personally like that system way better than other pain center doing lots of paper work. The surgery center is horrible. My husband felt his care was not good. The family waiting in the waiting room gets no information, when it is taking a lot longer for the patient to be done. Husband supposed to be ready to leave at 2:30, I was the only and last person in the waiting room, no one came out to say well it is taking a little longer because....................... I had to bang on bell on counter to get someone attention. She was confused as to why no one had come out to let me know what was going on. She was able to get a Dr to come out and explain what was going on. Dr said since husband was only one back there she would have the nurse come get me and take me back. About 30 minutes later the nurse says bring your car up. Never getting to see husband until he was loaded into the car. when mentioned it to the nurse they were like oh forgot to tell you. Not very helpful to family............

Dr. Bassewitz has the hallmarks of a great doctor: attentive, friendly, confident, analytical, and experienced. He saw my 70-year-old father for a pinched nerve recently. Using a combination of x-ray, MRI, and patient perspective he was able to quickly diagnose the issue and recommend a treatment plan. From the moment he entered the room Dr. Bassewitz was approachable and patient, listening carefully as my father described his symptoms. Afterwards, the he carefully tested my father in various positions while asking whether my father felt any pain or weakness. Then, he went over the x-ray and MRI scans and was able to provide a diagnosis of a pinched nerve. Finally, he provided us with a treatment plan and allowed us adequate time to ask any further questions (which I had a few). We look forward to seeing Dr. Bassewitz again for my father's follow-up.

I am 54 years old with a bulging disk in my back. I went to a top orthopedic doctor who said he wanted to fuse my spine. I left. I went to Dr. Daniel Lee and he gave me a shot of cortisone and that has lasted over 15 months and I feel great. He is conservative and effective. Same with Dr. Michael Lee in the same office (not related). He also is conservative and effective. The staff is really great too. There are other doctors here I would not recommend. Just say no the knee doctors here.

I have seen Dr. Kim for many years. He is thoughtful, effective and endearing. With chronic back pain going to the Dr. is not something that I look forward to. Dr. Kim makes the experience much brighter and he addresses all health issues in the process. I recommend him to everyone who suffers from chronic pain.

Eleven years ago, Dr Michael Lee performed carpal tunnel surgery on my left wrist. Everything went very smoothly, and the surgery was a success. Dr Lee put me at ease and made me feel like a partner in my care. Now in 2018, I am having possible carpal tunnel and/or arthritis issues in my right wrist. I dug out my old paperwork to remember who my awesome doctor was, and discovered it was Dr Lee. Of course, I chose to go back to him; I did not consider anyone else. Again, his kind demeanor put me at ease right away. I don't know if I will end up needing surgery again, but whatever treatment is necessary, I feel I can trust Dr Lee.

Dr. Dunn helped me diagnose issues with my facet joints, and Dr. Tingey did exploratory surgery on an injured knee that other doctors told me I had to live with. Very incompetent office staff. After being in pain for three months, I get an appointment at 2:45pm. I am asked if I did the paperwork online. When I told them that I was never told I needed to do it online, I was told that there wasn't time to do it now and be seen because the Doctor was needed in surgery, so I would need to reschedule. Because I wasn't told what I needed to do, I have to wait three more weeks (with that many doctors in one office, it amazes me that I couldn't be seen by someone else) to be treated. Why should I have to wait three more weeks for an appointment because they didn't tell me what I needed to do before the appointment. I was supposed to be emailed the documents and never received them either. I wish I didn't live so close, or I would go somewhere else. I'm not going to drive clear across town because of there stupidity. Lets hope the Doctors are better than their office staff. If not, I will be contacting the medical board, BBB, etc. It is time patients are treated with respect and care.

Horrible doctors, atrocious staff. I had a total hip replacement after having laparoscopic surgery. Bot experiences were awful. The staff here is unbelievably rude. The doctor was nice but my hip replacement still hurts me years after. When I went to inquire with the doctor about the pain he fired me as his patient. I spoke with. Man in the waiting room who had a total knee replacement by the same doc and had a similar experience. Plenty of orthopedic surgeons in Las Vegas. Why put up with sub par treatment and needing a revision the most likely outcome.

With the extra....I was in serious trouble. Sir Rich had Ms. Tori give me a shot - I believe it was a steroid, and a Script on top of that. The results were amazing. Again, those of us who live with this understand the daily life. Without the help I received, I honestly don't know how much longer - it was Honestly Serious. Following the injection along with the Script addition, the difference is enormous. I am, and always will be Forever Grateful for Dr. Dunn and his Remarkable Staff. My only regret is waiting so long before returning to see him. The pain is always severe.so I thought I could tolerate it. Again and Again, I am Tremendously Grateful, not only for the GREAT DOCTORS AND STAFF WITH DR. DUNN AND THEIR WONDROUS CAPABILITIES, BUT ALSO FOR THE TREMENDOUS PEOPLE THEY ARE. Waited in the waiting for 90 minutes after my scheduled appointment time before taken to examining room. At the check in counter discussed Dr Winder examining both shoulder and knees and was confirmed. Once inside the examining it was explained that the Dr will only look at one area at a time. I stated “I’m sure there is a good reason for this but can you tell me why please?” The male nurse replied “because many times insurance doesn’t cover”. At that point I was lost as a future patient. This was a VERY POOR EXCUSE? The male nurse didn’t even verify if my insurance coverage would cover this request. From this point on my care was rushed. Felt like a number not an individual human with constant pain. Dr Winder himself was kind but also rushed. I thought it was odd that he asked me which care option I wanted to pursue instead of recommending a specific care program.
