I was very happy with my visit with Dr. Lesani on August 4. I was scheduled for a cystoscopy and all went smoothly. I came to my appointment to get a UroCuff test and they did't knew what the hell I was there for, the doctor wasn't even there, the receptionist didn't a have a clue of my appointment and it took them 45 min to figure it out why i was there... BUT as soon as they found out they wanted 600 dlls for a copay immediately. They really don't care about the patients, they just want your money, please go somewhere else !

The intake at my last visit was quick - the staff at the front weren’t in a rush but by no means aloof. I came to him after experiencing blood in my urine and a very frequent urine flow. Dr Lesani, after an internal examination me, declared that I had a growth in my bladder. He then, ordered a hospital visit wherein he removed the growth that was determined to be cancerous. I was scared but my confidence in Dr Lesani never wavered. After all, I had a bladder full of cancer fighting drugs. Since then, In two successive visits, Dr Lesani has informed me that there has been no further growth. Ain’t that wonderful! This was my first visit with Dr Alex Lesani after waiting about seven or eight weeks to get an appointment, but it was worth the wait. Dr Lesani went over my chart from a prevues urologist & disgust with me what seem to be some of my problems with having BPH, from what he read on my chart. We did discuss some treatments for my enlarged prostate but before making any recommendation he wanted to take some other test so he could see first hand for himself what would be the best treatment for my enlarged prostate.The bottom line is that when I left his office we both were on the same page, to do the lease invasive procedure & give me the best results for my BPH. I left feeling very confident that I was in good hands with Dr Lesani & hope to give him 5* next time around.

Dr Lesani stated I was challenging but he didn't give up and completed the procedure I was there for. Very nice and professional doctor. I had the procedure done yesterday and no swelling or pain. Hopefully in the long run it was successful. I came to him based on all the good reviews. I would recommend him. Update: While Dr Lesani was good I wanted to update my review based on his staff and phone system. I had to do 2 follow up tests at Quest to confirm my procedure was successful. The first time I called 3 times and finally got someone to provide me my results. The second time is becoming challenging. I have now made 4 phone calls which have transferred me to voicemail and left 2 messages with no callback. I can't confirm my procedure was successful until I get my results. I can only assume at this point I am no longer a patient so I am an afterthought to this doctor and his staff. Keep this in mind when you are thinking about visiting this doctor!

In September-October 2018, I was not satisfied with HPN's 2 referral urologist. I'd searched for an out of network urologist who specialize in prostate cancer. I was very impressed with Doctor Alex Lesani reviews. I personally received recommendations from acquaintances. Dr. Lesani has good mannerism, very patient, and thoroughly explains all the risk involved with prostate cancer. I strongly and truly believe Dr. Lesani will do everything in his power to prolong my life. I am a black male and just turned 60 years old. On November 27, Dr. Lesani performed a successful prostatectomy. My PSA dropped from 6.6 to 1.9. Unfortunately, the prostate capsular leaked cancer cell to 3 lymph nodes and 1seminal vessel. On January 28, Doctor Lesani immediately put me on hormone treatment. No radiation required. May 2, 2019, Dr. Lesani told me the cancer is in remission. PSA 0.00. I am very grateful and completely satisfied with Doctor Lesani services. His method and treatment plan in prostate cancer are unlike the referral doctors. One referral doctor wanted to remove not only the prostate cancer, but also all lymph nodes, seminal vessels and nerve bundles. If I had agreed to that, I strongly believe my health would be vulnerable to illness and a shorter life spam. I been blessed to have found Doctor Lesani. Thank You Doctor Alex Lesani for saving my life. Now someday in the near future, I will get to see my grandkids. God Bless you and your family.

Dr. Lesani preformed a robotic prostectomy on me on December 3 2018. It is December 14. I had a follow up visit on 12/13 to remove the catheter. To date, everything that Dr. Lesani had informed me of has gone according to his plan. I am leaking to a degree but that was expected. Dr. Lesani will answer all your questions in a friendly manner but you need to ask them. Therefore, do your research before you see him. And have your questions written down. That is what I did. My only issue is that the wait time is too long If your appointment is at 9:00 you should be call to go back to the patient room within 0-10 minutes also the patient should be in and out within 30 minutes of appointment time. It is understandable that emergencies happen and the wait time is exstended but this shouldn’t be an every appointment occurrence. Usually the start to finish is 70 to 90 minutes.

The very thought of having Cancer ♋ is a long mental process. From my first visit with Dr. Lesani was one of poignant look you straight in the eye of the facts. No sugar coating In his analysis and demeanor. Dr. Lesani gave me that gut feeling of trust! It has been a tough few months mentally and his recommended remedial process was surgery. I went through the DaVinci robotic for radical prostate removal. One of the most noninvasive procedures you can experience. The post-op recovery was with little discomfort! Having a catheter was the biggest necessary nuisance. Everyone's results vary based on their specific circumstances. For me, Dr. Lesani is one of the finest urologists in all of Las Vegas. There are no guarantees in life but I am now on the road to a full and healthy recovery with the knockout punch to Cancer. Dr. Lesani’s first words to me after my initial biopsy results were ”your 66 years old and my job is to keep you alive for the next 20 years ”. Well here's to the next 20 years and beyond. Beyond grateful.

Shocked and frustrated at the most unprofessional encounter with medical staff I have experienced in 66 years. What happened (abbreviated): On the 2nd appt. I arrived at the Sunset location for a Urocuff test, but it’s not done there. They sent me to the Smoke Ranch location where they did a Uroflow, which probably could have been done at the Sunset office. The 3rd appt was for a cystoscopy to be followed by discussion for treatment. My primary problems include overactive bladder (OAB), internal pressure on the bladder, and some blockage by the prostate. Numbing gel was not use so the entire process was very uncomfortable and he never said a word about the bladder. I noted 3 Prostiva’s (low frequency RF) in the past, each with diminishing returns, yet he kept talking about how microwave treatment (high frequency) isn’t done much anymore. The only recommendation was for a Greenlight Laser procedure which I could not do until later in the year. I also know the gain would be minimal. There’s a lot more he could have covered. I tried to steer the discussion to OAB drugs, but it didn’t go anywhere and it seemed like he thought he was done and was ready to get out of the room. Trying OAB and/or alpha blockers before any slice and dice type procedure seemed prudent, even though I had no success with a few of them in the past. After he left the room I had another question and the assistant led me to Lesani. Upon asking the question, he started walking away. After getting home I called the office to say I wanted to try one or more different OAB drugs while waiting for the procedure and was very clear what I was looking for. His assistant said she would ask him. Several calls and many days later, after complaining to the office manager that the assistant was not returning my calls, she called then asked what type of drug I wanted. Huh? After close to a week and 5 or so calls I gave up, went to a doctor and received a prescription for Oxybutynin. Incredibly simple request!

I've been seeing Dr. Lesani since 6/2010..he is a brilliant doctor in my opinion.. when i was diagnosed with kidney cancer, after extensive research on what a nephroureterectomy was, I discovered that Dr. Lesani was the only urologist certified in laproscopic surgery in southern nevada. This was a very progressive approach to surgery for removing kidneys. After that was all said and done after removing my left kidney and ureter, it appeared that i was cured until several months later it (cancer) appeared in my bladder. Dr. Lesani again placed me in a very progressive regimen using immunothereapy instead of chemotherapy with surgically removing lesions as they presented. As of today, I have been cancer free for around 4 years. On another note, Dr. Lesani always remembers who I am and makes me feel like he has a non doctor side by asking me what i've been up to and doing.
