Receptionist called today to set up my appointment. After collecting some information, she asked if I'd ever been to a pain doctor. I said I had but had stopped as the spinal injections and epidurals gave me very little if any relief. She said she didn't know what I expected them to do other than injections, that's all they would do to help me. This was my last try for relief...at age 37, I'm done. I'd rather die than deal with people like this again.

I am very happy with the care I’ve received before and after surgery. For me, personally, my nerve issues didn’t resolve with surgery; sometimes these things just can’t be helped. But despite that, I felt heard as a patient and everything was thoroughly explained to me. I felt compelled to write a review since others have not been so positive and I will be honest, they got me a little worried prior to my first visit to Nebraska Spine & Pain. My experience thus far has been very good. I met with Dr. McClellan's PA Sarah first and explained all of my symptoms and ongoing history with my neck issues to her. She was very caring and very thorough in going over every detail in full. She also explained my MRI and xrays in a way that I could understand and based on all of her findings and exam, provided me with a very reasonable plan. Dr. McClellan next came in and my experience with him was just as great. He was very attentive and went over my options as far as an injection, surgery, etc. I would highly recommend Dr. McClellan and Nebraska Spine. The front desk staff were also very kind and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this office and my experience with them thus far in my care.

I cant say enough good things about my entire process with the Nebraska Spine clinic and Hospital. I had nothing less than top notched care. Everyone involved was great to me and also treated my wife with the same care. If I ever had to have anything else done to my back I will be right back to the Nebraska Spine + Pain center. After my surgery the pain, tingling and numbness were gone. I never needed anything for pain except Tylenol. I cant thank the entire staff enough.

I broke my back in 2014 l3 vertabrea and my workers comp made me go to nebraska pain and spine center were i had the worst life exprenince thank to dr brain gill who is a moron i can barley walk and this guy is trying to send me back to construction job with no restrictions he would say one thing to my lawyer then he would say i never said that after we have all the documentation of what he said with his signature on the paper work i would recommend anyone seriuos back issuse to avoide him and this place after 4 years of him constantly change his oppion about my back what dr recommends to fuse virtabreas but then when you turn that option down because he said him self that it wouldnt fux the issuse but might help it he say theres nothing wrong with you ive never been so bitter or mad about a situation ps i wont go back there ever

The only reason I'm going this such a high stars is the doctors and the nurses are the most wonderful people you'll ever meet they care about you and they will take care of on the other hand Sue Carlson director Of all the office help They are the worst lose paperwork take forever to get back to you when you have a question and they dont give you a straight Answer but if you call your insurance company you will get a totally different answer than any other staff gives you and always tries to push you off on someone else that is the type of leadership Sue Carlson gives and Again I can't state this enough the doctors are awesome and the nurses really do care about you

I have been going there for 2 weeks for a problem I have had since 2014. The doctor was very short and didn’t seem to care very much. He changed my diagnosis because he refused to do imaging more than an X-ray even though I provided all of my past imaging. I came there on pain meds and he refused to continue my prescription and says to take Advil. I don’t like narcotics and won’t take them unless I need to so if I’m asking that means the pain is bad. I can hardly walk and I have a 3 month old who needs me and I can’t do much for him when I can hardly get out of bed. They are ZERO help .

I hurt a great deal, more then I know a doctor can treat. I also know doctors can only help you so much (in the treatment of pain). Doctors and patients need to give each other understanding and compassion when our hope has been discouraged. Compassion goes along way. I was treat well here and I hope it continues.

Recently started PT with Kyle, as someone from a family in medicine and a personal trainer myself, they actually put the needs of the patient(including mental! Give it to me straight when I ask!) as a priority and adjust their delivery based on the patient. Most everyone else is afraid to open up when I want more information or it's clear they are more concerned with turnaround. Just wish I could go here for everything and not just my back!
