I don't know if these previous reviewers have the same Dr. Michael C. Thompson I do but I have had the opposite experience. Fantastic Dr. Highly recommended by other professionals and extremely kind and takes his time. Been seeing him for about 6 months now and cannot say one negative thing about Dr.T and his staff except there are always tons of people there and parking is ruff. Nothing else. Top of the line Dr. Randall W.

If I could give this doctor zero stars I would!! Spent about two minutes with me. Suggested a brace instead of a boot even after seeing my xrays showing a fracture and the ER notes. Was going to send me home without even wrapping the ankle. I was in tears from pain when I left the office and had rolled the bad ankle 3 times trying to walk out, it was only my crutches that saved me. HE IS A JOKE WITH ZERO COMPASSION. I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT IF HE EVER GETS HURT, HE GETS THE SAME TYPE OF CARE HE GAVE ME!!

I'd give zero stars if I could. He failed to check for infection in my ankle fusion revision. I suffered with excruciating pain for 7 months, and 2 wound debridments. You could see the bones in my foot after the 2nd debridment with no way to fill the hole. By the time he cultured for a deep wound infection, I had osteomyelitis. I was a totally healthy patient, no vascular problems and no diabetes. The infection dissolved my bones in my ankle and leg and was eating away at the metal rod in my tibia. I chose to go to a second doctor and hospital. They saved my life by amputating my infected leg. I could have died if I didn't go to the the new doctor. My amputation healed perfectly and had no medical problems.

I saw Dr. Thompson for a foot injury from early in life that has gotten worse. He explained what the problem was, how he could fix it but left it to me to decide if/when to have it corrected. After over a year of putting it off, I went to see him again and he again explained exactly how he would fix the problem and spent time very thoroughly answering any and all of my questions. Very professional demeanor. I am now eagerly awaiting my procedure.
