This is the worst I’ve ever been treated . Was sent there by my physician due to a neck injury and mri results. Saw Mike Kowalke and he should go back to working with dead people . He was rude and impatient, said he didn’t know why I was hurting even though the mri showed exactly why . Told me to go back to my regular physician. I’ve never let a doctor make me cry until today and I’ve been in healthcare my whole life . I will not see him again !

I had a great experience with Dr. Tewes! Had my meniscus surgically repaired within 45mins, and I’m currently recovering quicker than expected. Dr. Tewes has been one of the nicest doctors I’ve ever encountered and I definitely recommend seeing him, as he is very knowledgeable and has been doing his job for years.

I had a terrible first time appointment. Everything was fine before I was seated in the office. Of course I was nervous to know what was going on with my back, and it didn't help that my provider (Vande Guchte) was 1.5 hours late and nobody came to let me know what was going on in the meantime. And in roughly a half hour wandering explanation of modern medicine, I still wasn't clear what he was telling me. Went away with more questions than answers and more confused and frustrated than knowledgeable with a plan of management. If he was straight forward with his thoughts and meanings that would have helped, but it seemed that he wanted me to guess what he was saying. Never had a doctor do this to me. Hope your appointment is better.

I called Lincoln Orthopedic Center with an injury that happened on a Friday evening that the ER doctors said needed surgery right away, within 3-4 days. Called initially on a Saturday morning. I practically had to beg the "answering service" to take a message; she kept trying to get me off the phone and just call back on Monday morning. So of course I expected to not hear back from them, which I didn't. When I called back on Monday morning, my call got shuffled around a bit until I got to talk to someone in scheduling (At one point, I even got connected with the "answering service" again, even though it was during business hours). I explained my injury to the scheduling person, emphasizing that the ER Doctor said that this surgery needed to be done by Tuesday at the latest. She seemed to not care even a little bit, but claimed she could not schedule me for a consultation until late Tuesday afternoon, and none of the doctors I requested by name were available. Now I understand that doctors have schedules, but it was the complete lack of compassion or willingness to acknowledge the urgency of my situation that was disconcerting. In contrast, I called another well-respected orthopedic clinic in Lincoln. Not only did they see me within a few hours of my call, I got to see the doctor I asked to see, and my surgery was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. I'd like to believe that I might have received excellent care at Lincoln Orthopedic Center. It's just too bad that Lincoln Orthopedic Center's staff seems to have forgotten that good patient care starts with the front desk staff. They certainly failed in my case.

Very busy place, but that is what you can expect when they do such good work. Dr. Koch performed my ACL repair and everything went really smooth, his PA Sam was also great to work with. All of the nursing staff and the MRI/X-ray techs were very friendly and accommodating. All of my appointments both before and after surgery had minimal wait times for how many people were in the waiting room at any given time.

When I go to see a specialist I expect to leave with clear answers and a precise diagnosis . The answers to my questions were "anh, bad luck," If I'm in a boot 6 weeks and not healed fully more direction on activity and exercise should be given so I don't have to start over again healing. Lawson, you've proved your not interested in your patients well being. There are several orthopedic centers within 30 minutes. I'll never go to LOC again to be so disregarded. if a Dr is no longer interested in providing best care, they shouldn't be a Dr. I waited 45 minutes for my appt 6 weeks ago, Lawson assisting physician saw me 4 minutes, was annoyed by my questions and slammed the door on exit. Requesting a "Dr"on my 6 week appt I got Lawson. She came in with him. He proved his point about being annoyed never making eye contact with me ever, and being short. How does a dr povide good care without looking you in the eyes? Whatever... this practice is the worst I've experienced in my lifetime.

I love LOC. I have been to 2 doctors here as well as going to Dr Rocky for shots for my back. I also see Dr Bigelow for my knees and his PA Chad. Most recently has been for my back and I was fortunate to have Dr Vande Guchte, his PA Mike and his nurse Marsha! They were all wonderful! I had extensive back surgery the end of March 2017 that was 2 days of 6 + hours each! The 1st one was a breeze, the 2nd was not so much, but they stuck with me, visiting each day to make sure I was doing ok! Made it! I am still healing, doing therapy, and the pain I had before surgery is gone! I now just need to get used to the new additions to my back. My therapy is going good and I think I get better each day. What can I say except Dr Vande Guchte is the best. I'm pretty impressed with all of them! Thank you Dr V, Mike & Marsha!!

Dr. McCullen and Dr. Koebernick are wonderful and well educated and experienced doctors. I went in not able to walk without crutches and was having bad headaches for 10 years that kept getting misdiagnosed. A year later, I am back to my normal routine and have not had a headache since the surgery. They are amazing doctors and would recommend them to anyone.

Call trying to get in to see about hips and getting pass off to back doc then right over to hip doc again with a bad attitude not wanting to schedule a appointment with referral stating there's nothing they can do for my condition. When did scheduling become certified to make that diagnosis over the phone. Then she jumps to they dont have my notes from other doctors questioning if I have a job....no I dont I'm disabled that's why I need to be seen. She stated they been waiting for records from me even though I've been seen before for the same conditions. It's hard to turn records in when your taking care of your father's death and son's epilepsy. Not happy with this place.

I thought the receptionist, the nurse Becca, the PA, and Dr. Swanson were very friendly, courteous, and informative. I see a couple other folks had bad experiences with this office but my experience couldn't be further from the other reviews. Good people no doubt.

Doctors and PA are top-notch. I have had three joint replacements all done by a doctor at LOC. I would not go to any other office. These people have my utmost confidence.

Extremely overpriced. Way way higher prices than their competitor in Lincoln. My son went to their competitor with a much more serious injury and more extensive treatment and the price was nearly half of what LOC charged to put my daughter in a boot for a few weeks. And they never came to a diagnosis as to what the issue actually was. The final visit with my daughter where we told him she was doing fine and he shrugged his shoulders saying "I don't know what I did but I'm glad she's better" they charged $130. I guess the patient should decide whether they really need to come back. You can get great care in a lot of places at Lincoln, LOC is not worth the price. On top of that they are collections happy. I paid them $250 halfway through the process. The last adjustment was made to the account on January 23rd. By February 12th we had a final notice with highlighter marks all over the charges and all over the paper, and on March 7th I received the first bill from the collections company. Yes 43days later on ridiculously large bill. I pay over $1,300 a month for health insurance that does squat, thanks to Obama. I'm just a contractor, scraping together another thousand dollars doesn't happen in one month. LOC is in the health business not the healthcare business.

I am absolutely disgusted with Lincoln Orthopedic Center. I called over a week ago to discuss being seen for a previous work comp injury that they were already treating me for. The day I called I was told that the doctor that I had been seeing had passed away. He was a fantastic doctor and I adored him. I was told that I would get a call back be Wednesday of the following week to be seen by another doctor. I did not get a call back until a week and a day later than expected to be told that "unfortunately no other doctor here will be able to see you. The best thing you can do now would be to contact your adjuster so they can get you in with someone." It was NOT my fault that the doctor I seen passed away. I do not feel that they care about their patients but rather the check they receive and I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend them to anyone in the future. I will also be making a report to the BBB for the way this situation was handled.

So im in major pain and i cant walk . The receptionist is extremely rude when i was trying to make an appointment she was saying becouse i missed an appointment i didnt even know i had becouse somebody from there office never called me to let me thats my fault know that they wouldnt get me in sooner. She wouldnt even let me talk and tell her even if i knew about this appointment i couldnt walk at all and i have to ride the bus and walk she just kept being rude i tried to call and make a complaint but they can pretty much treat you how ever they want too. So yah you didnt do your job and call me about the appointment so now i have to deal with a torn midusias tear and try to find a diffrent doctor and be treated like crap for a misunderstanding. Great job lady. Been like this since sept 23. You should be fired lady

This is a fantastic group of doctors. I have been here twice. Once for a trigger finger and then for a meniscus tear. Nicest doctors ever! Receptionist are very kind and very busy handling all sorts of situations but maintaining a kind spirit. I would highly recommend this group!!
