I cannot say enough nice things about my diagnosis, surgery and recovery. Dr Bowdino's staff kept me informed of of everything that was going on concerning my health. My spine surgery went perfectly with no problems. I feel like a new person who's got her legs back! Thank you everyone who was involved❤️

Not impressed. At all. Doc walked into the room, disheveled and sloppy and seemingly utterly disinterested in my case (broken vertabrae and disc injury from a boating accident) . I had to ask all the questions in order to pry minimal information from him - made me wonder who the doctor was and who the patient was. Made it clear he wanted to be done and leave the room to go on a coffee break or whatever other pressing business he had, besides seeing paying customers that day. Completely unhelpful with atrocious bedside manner. Won’t be back and don’t recommend . Office staff wasn’t much better.

Very, very poor patient DR communication. Was referred by pain Doc to attempt to find pain relief (surgical) for disk protrusions ETC. Doc ordered MRI, and then EMG but never personally spoke with me regarding results. Had to call in to have (Ann, Coordinator) tell me that since the EMG came back normal Dr Bowdino had determine that Surgery was not an option. (wasted 3 weeks, no meds, or pain relief) my condition has progressed to the point I am walking with a cane and unable to have full function of my right leg. But the Doc would not know this because he never personally spoke with me. I was told by Ann to go back to primary care, primary care referred me to Dr Bowdino. meanwhile still pain, no confirmation of whats going on and wasted time due to poor communication. I can only imagine if this is how treatment is given prior to diagnosis, what it would be like should I have had a need for surgery. Regardless.. no relief and still looking for answers.

April 15-17 I highly recommend MD West One!! I made a appointment with the office and Dr Bowdino was my scheduled doctor. He listened to everything I had to say about my L5-S1 spondylolethis back issue and presented my solution. His team effectively got me scheduled in two weeks for corrective surgery. I am very pleased so far with the results of my surgery and the level of care given to me since Monday April 15 and should be discharged on April 17. I immediately have no more Intense sciatica pain going down my right leg which not only affected my job, daily life and sleep. The doctor even did real time nerve tracking to trace the trouble spot. The past couple days I have slept on my back for the 1st time in many months with no discomfort other than the surgery procedures itself. I look forward along with my healing now to get back to the status of quality life I had before this injury and surgery. A HUGE “Thank You to DR BOWDINO and EVERYBODY that has even been a part of this very positive experience.” I will always recommend anyone that inquires about MD West one!! Pictures speak a thousand words of a great service provided by this hospital. Thank you all!! April 21st Went off Narco and went off walker to cane assist. No need for pain meds if haven’t really experienced any pain. I can honestly say this has been the easiest major surgery I have had. Discomfort and stiffness yes, pain? Dr Bowdino must have done this procedure with the upmost care to cause the least pain and quickest recovery. April 26th Released to go back to work April 29th. Wow! Under two weeks and capable to easily to do light duty for 3 months with my required restrictions to properly heal my fusion. I’m again very pleased with the quick recovery for this old 52 old man. Lol. Will I still recommend MD West One. Absolutely!!! July 12th Totally released but with restrictions to go easy until built back to the level I used to be. Dr Baldino was an outstanding doctor that made my life better. Thanks to all of you!!

The Last Jester Two-Snips

Staff was friendly enough. Dr was professional as was the nurse and physician assistant. Thought I was going for an MRI, told me nothing different than my regular dr. My insurance cleared an MRI but still wanted to send me to PT. I understand that this is how it’s usually done, but my insurance works different than most. It was even said to me PT before MRI that’s how the insurance companies usually want it. Well I’m sorry but my insurance cares about my health they deal with the root of the problem and my body it’s telling me I have pinched nerves or worse yet a bulging whatever it is. I’m not a Dr but it would seem to me to be more sensible to find what the problem is first then make a diagnosis for PT or a cortisone shot or surgery. I’m sure DR Bowdino is a fine surgeon and I am sure you are in good hands, it’s just not what I needed.
