Honestly blown away by the level of service to the point I felt obligated to write a review. Firstly, the administrative staff helped me get an appointment on the books PRIOR to having a referral from my primary provider so I didn't have to wait another 2 weeks. Helpful, understanding administrative staff? Unheard of.... As for the actual visit, I was in the waiting room for less than 10 minutes, had the option to fill out medical history online prior to arriving, was checked in with a nurse/ tech within seconds, had the marvelous Mrs. Casidy Juda PA-C in the room within minutes, and had a consultation and minor surgical procedure all in the course of 15 minutes or less. The technicians and PA all had amazing bedside manner, and easily translated technical terminology into more understandable language, all the while efficiently and painlessly completing my procedure. All in all I was on my way faster than what I usually spend in most waiting rooms, thanks to the quality, caring, and efficiency of the MSC&DC staff. Extremely impressed, Highly recommended.

Annual checkups at MT Skin Cancer & Dermatology Center insure precancerous spots don’t go unchecked and anything that might be cancerous has no chance to grow and spread. The staff is compassionate, capable, and trustworthy. I’m grateful for them! I highly recommend an annual checkup for all my friends aged 50+ and anyone who’s had a skin problem in the past. Don’t wait!

I had two wonderful experiences with Montana Skin Cancer. The first was a routine skin check. After checking in, I was surprised by how quickly I was taken back to my room. I saw Julie Henningsen, she was thorough, attentive and addressed all my questions. Very professional. My second experience was for my teenaged son. Late one Friday night, he mentioned a rash he had near his armpit. When I saw how raw and painful it was, I knew it needed to be addressed right away. Urgent care was already closed and it wasn't appropriate for the ER, so I used the online service and had a virtual visit. We explained symptoms, duration, etc., uploaded pictures and entered our preferred pharmacy. It was Friday at 10:30 pm and before 8:30 am on Saturday, Dr. Bruce had reviewed the info, provided a diagnosis and called the prescription to the pharmacy. I was impressed that they would utilize technology to help address urgent needs.

Very disappointed with Dr. Judas "skin check". Ive had a dozen skin checks by dermatologist over the years and all of which thoroughly check entire body including scalp and every crack or crevice- especially on someone with as many moles and freckles as me. Cassidy spent maybe 3 minutes skimming over my body without checking a single spot without my request. Ive never had a skin check last less than 20 minites with multiple measurements and views of different spots and I was in and out of office (including checkin wait time) in exactly 22 minutes. If you are worried about any skin cancer spots and want a decent dermatology dont waste your money going here. If it was possible Id request my copay and office visit charges back. Staff was all very pleasant to deal with but Im here for quality care rather than a just a smile from receptionists. Update: After seeking care from another facility after this horrendous encounter I was properly diagnosed with the concern I had Dr Judas check. The lack of care provided here that was easily obtained by another clinic is very worrisome. I will not be trusting MSCDC with my skin health ever again.

Would not recommend Dr. Bruce for any procedure requiring cutting into skin. He removed two tiny cysts from my leg and used three stitches to close each incision. I was told to remove the stitches myself as his office "would be too busy" during the Thanksgiving holiday to schedule a follow-up visit to remove the stitches. Dr. Bruce did not discuss with me what the outcome from the procedure might be. I really wish I had not had him do the procedure, because I now have large, purple scars/areas on my leg that look terrible and much worse than the original tiny cysts. It is two months after the procedure and I still have general redness and itchiness in the area, even after months of following the cleaning and wound treatment advice his nurse gave me. Dr. Bruce says he practices minimally invasive surgery, but I would never see him again as he took a simple cyst removal procedure and butchered the skin on my leg in two areas.

I appreciate how quickly this clinic is able to get me in. I have had mixed experiences here. The Good: They get me in quickly. They are fantastic about calling in prescription extensions between annual visits. The Bad: They were unwilling to continue my current *successful* regimen, because they deemed it "too expensive" for me (based on my healthplan). Even my insistence that I was willing to pay over the counter price for the product would not change their minds. Ultimately, they changed my regimen and instead had me go through the "break in" period with a very harsh product which did more harm than good.

The treatment, and extra care, received by both myself and my wife over the past several years was provided with the skill, and knowledge, that gave us the confidence we needed. Another important part of this relationship, was the very timely response given by Dr Bruce to any questions or concerns during, and following treatment.....I found this very reassuring. Having suffered with scalp plaque psoriasis for 16 years and multiple dermatologist who continually made repeated appointments with no relief, Dr Aaron Bruce performed scalp injections and told me that within a day I would see results! I went home, rubbed Aquaphor onto my scalp for the night and by morning after rinsing my hair out not only was the plaque gone but found the itching had disappeared and no more flakes. It’s been two months now and I am free of this irritating and humiliating ailment. I would highly recommend Dr. Bruce as he is proactive and prefers to see his patients see relief as opposed to filling his appointment book! Can’t believe one visit and I am free of psoriasis. If it should reappear, the injections will clear within 24 hours. He is a genius! Well pleased with him and his entire staff!!!!

I heard great things about this place and about the doctor I saw, but my experience didn't align with those. Note: I can only speak to the doctor that I saw. I had scheduled an appointment to have a suspicious mole checked out. Up until seeing the doctor, my experience was above average. The office staff and the nurse were all incredibly helpful and kind. The initial part of my experience warranted five stars. However, the point in scheduling an appointment was to see a doctor. Dr. Schoelch was in the room for maybe (and this is being generous) two full minutes. She looked at my mole of concern, measured it, and concluded it wasn't an issue. While I trust her judgment with that, she then went to leave the room. I suggested that she spend more than 45 seconds in my room. She then made a comment about how I was even scheduled for a longer appointment in case they had to remove the mole of concern. Since I was scheduled for more than 45 seconds, she stuck around about 75 seconds longer. How generous. She asked me if there were other moles I wanted her to evaluate. I mentioned one on my back, which she looked at, measured, and concluded it wasn't an issue. It would have made sense for her to say, "When was the last time you had a full body skin cancer screening? Since we allotted plenty of time for your appointment, we might as well do that while we have you here." I quickly scrambled to recall the moles I have noticed on my body. I felt pressured to respond quickly as she was giving off a strong impression that I was wasting her time. I appreciate an efficient, quick doctor - but I believe being thorough is more important (and that is a characteristic my doctor lacked).

I had a great experience on my first visit to Montana Skin Cancer and Dermatology. It started with a text that I received approximately a week before my appointment reminding me of my appointment and it included a link with driving directions which was very helpful. I was greeted by a very friendly and professional young woman who took my initial information and gave me some health background forms to complete. I no sooner had sat down to fill out those forms when a Nurse come out and took me to a treatment room. She too was very friendly and professional. She told me how the exam would be conducted and asked if I would like a gown as I had to undress down to my boxers. I wasn’t even completely underdressed when Dr Schoeich knocked on the door and asked if I were ready. If your time is an issue you will be seen promptly here. Dr. Schoelch was very friendly and exceptionally professional. I felt an immediate doctor/patient connection with her and was impressed with her thoroughness and her skills. I had been seen in September 2018 by my previous Dermatologist with no findings. Dr Schoelch found a small cancer on my left temple and removed it with no pain or discomfort. She also treated several precancerous growths with liquid nitrogen and explains what she is doing throughout her extensive and thorough exam. Since skin cancer is a continuing problem for me I feel that I am in good hands with Dr. Schoelch and Montana Skin Cancer and Dermatology. I highly recommend this practice.

Friendly staff and doctors, for sure. However, I was billed $500 for an unexpected lab analysis. I wasn't told about the lab analysis, and they did not give me an option to send it in or not. When I confronted them and requested that they speak with my insurance provider or the lab, they let me know that I was on my own. I had to spend a lot of time talking to people about insurance policies, lab tests, etc... I don't recommend this place, as they don't seem to care about you as soon as your check clears, and as soon as you leave the building. Their help is very limited, short and frustrating. They will be very polite and friendly, but you won't get much help from them!
