I am a 41 year old woman who had a 10 cm plus fibroid as well as an enlarged uterus. The first doctor I saw said my only option was to have an abdominal hysterectomy (basically a c-section) which is painful and has a very long recovery time. This did not sit well so I sought a second opinion. While researching doctors online and reading countless reviews I came across Dr. Harvey. I drove over an hour to visit Dr. Harvey and left feeling comfortable and confident in his ability to perform a laparoscopic hysterectomy via robotic surgery and that is what he did. It was minimally invasive and within 2 days I was back to doing 90% of what I was doing before, minus lifting heavy objects. I had to keep reminding myself that I just had surgery and to slow down. Dr. Harvey is one of the best doctors I have ever received care from. He is an expert in his field and up to date with the ever changing technology and procedures. He is patient and never once made me feel rushed. He also took his time explaining and answering all of my questions, and there were many. I highly recommend Dr. Harvey. I am grateful for his expertise.

Just got off the phone with the Dr.Harvey office and I had to write a review. Dr.Harvey has delivered baby's in my family for 20 years. My Mother and Nana have been patients of his for a long time and when I was pregnant with my son they told me I needed to get an appointment with him. He was great to me and my boyfriend Jordyn while I was pregnant. Jordyn liked his personality and his Dr. humor. He really won me over when (during my pregnancy) I developed a bartholin cyst. It was so painful and I had waited about a week before I finally went in to see him about it. A quick exam and he said well lets get this taken care of tonight, and scheduled a surgery for that evening. I remember feeling bad because he worked all day and into the night lol. I really felt like he cared about my pain and wanted to help me. On that note his nurse Barb is awesome! She is so helpful and caring. With these two in charge of your care you are in good hands.

Dr Harvey deliverered both my children successfully, it wasn't until after their birth that I experienced issues with his services. I attended a yearly papsmear & his office charged me improperly for it, almost $400 improperly. I disputed it with his billing manager, the most uncooperative, rude, unsympathetic woman I have ever spoken to in my life. We finally got it resolved after 3 weeks. After placing my billing dispute, he refused service to me and refered me to an incompetent provider. Funny how your treated once you're no longer available for birthing billing and services plus he over prescribes pain meds. Sad with the epidemic in our society today.

Doctor Harvey delivered my daughter last August and he hands down, is one of the best doctors in town. He has many years of practice and every visit makes sure all your questions are answered. He also does an ultrasound every visit so you can see your little one. He's a very kind person. Receptionists are always friendly as well! All in all, a great doctor's office.

Dr. Gary Harvey is a down to earth very up front person who treated me very respectfully when I went in to see him in 2014. He takes the time to explain all of the issues you wish to discuss with him about your concerns for the procedures that you may benefit from. He did a rectocele repair and a bladder prolapse repair using the robotics procedure. I have a mesh in both areas and have had no problems resulting from the procedure. The surgery was a success and I recommend Dr. Harvey to anyone considering this procedure.

Dr.Harvey is an extremely poor physician, as I personally know a patient who he misdiagnosed and performed power morcellation during fibroid surgery, causing a proliferation of cancer cells. Harvey did not inform the patient of the cancer diagnosis until a week after getting results back. Strongly reccomend against care from Dr.Harvey

I had cystocele and rectocele repair done by Dr.Harvey. His skill with the DaVinci robot is amazing. Immediately after surgery I had less pelvic pressure. Since my surgery, I have had better bladder function than I have experienced in years. I am extremely lucky to have found such an amazing Doctor. Dr. Harvey and his staff were incredibly thoughtful, kind and professional. I drive 120 miles to see him and it is more then worth it.

I am so grateful to Dr. Harvey, Barb, his nurse, and the entire staff for making the entire process more comforting and putting me at ease every step. Having a hysterectomy at 33 was a difficult choice but after dealing with debilitating pain since a teenager, I am thankful that Dr. Harvey took the time to go over the options and together decided that this was best for me. Nothing could have removed the pain except surgery. Robotic surgery was quick, relatively painless, and the recovery time was about a week. Dr. Harvey answers every question and takes as much time with you as you need. I felt like I was his only patient. I can't put into words how grateful I am to Dr. Harvey!

I was origanally going to a different doctor but just made the switch at 34 weeks pregnant. I had yet to meet my doctor at the last place. Only her nurse from 8 weeks until 33 weeks. I decided to make the switch because the other doctors office didnt make me feel like a priority and also who goes basically the whole pregnancy without meeting the doctor one time! I made the switch, met Dr. Harvey the first appointment, he did and ultra sound took his time and was very nice and informational! Thanks dr. Harvey looking forward to our next few weeks!

Dr Harvey was my sisters OB. She spoke very highly of him, and though I had never been comfortable with a male OB/GYN I went to see him for my first pregnancy 6 years ago. I have not been sorry. He diagnosed precancer cells, treated them and I am clear now for 3 years. He has delivered all three of my babies and is consistently caring and compassionate with any complaints you may have though he's probably heard them all thousands of times. He never rushes through the appointment and takes however much time you need to understand what's happening. He offers an ultrasound to see baby at every appointment which is very reassuring. My last baby was not moving in my 36th week and had to be delivered via csection, and there was a very scary preeclampsia situation. dr Harvey was quick to make the call, and myself and my daughter are doing well. The following week after I was discharged I was still having blood pressure problems and though he was gone, his partner Dr Wyman knew of my previous issues because dr Harvey had fully filled him in and he handled my care in hospital when I had to be readmitted with an uncontrolled high blood pressure from the preeclampsia and was also a very excellent Doctor. The nurses and staff are friendly and helpful and you really could not be asking for a better physician/surgeon and staff. Thank you Doctor Harvey and Doctor Wyman for taking care of me and my family. We look forward to seeing you again.

Dr. Harvey is simply the best. I have been his patient for over fifteen years and have valued his care as both my gynecologist and obstetrician. I trust him with my health, and held the same trust in him with my two children's prenatal health. I know that he is a very busy doctor and surgeon, but he has always taken as much time as necessary with me during appointments. He has always answered all of my questions, and provided a great deal of reassurance. The best sign of a doctor is when you leave your appointment and feel better than you did when you walked in. That has been my experience with Dr. Harvey. He has delivered my two babies via C-section and is an amazing surgeon. He also is very helpful to expectant fathers. He makes even the most anxious soon-to-be parents, and general patients, feel at ease. I cannot recommend him enough to other women and families in Missoula.

Dr. Harvey performed surgery using the daVinci 4 weeks ago. The procedure was a sacrocolpopexy. Dr. Harvey has been my trusted doctor for 18 years and this was my third surgery in that time. All were very successful! This was my first time with the robotic surgery. It was an amazingly easy recovery with very little pain afterwards. Dr. Harvey is the best doctor a woman could have! The only thing I would do different is NOT wait so long for this procedure. I feel like a new woman!

I had a robotic sacrocolpopexy for a vaginal prolapse . Dr. Harvey explained the benefits and risks of the procedure thoroughly . I was treated in a courteous and professional manner by Dr. Harvey, his nurse and staff. I spent one night only, at the hospital. I received good care and was treated well by the staff at Community Medical Center. I had minimal pain after the procedure and a fast recovery. It is much more comfortable to walk and do any activities that put pressure on my lower pelvis. My stress incontinence is nearly gone.
