At present the business receives a rating of 4.4 out of 5 and this rating has been based on 109 reviews.
As you can see it reaches an opinions average is very positive, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the evaluation is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to set tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Doctor is classified in the category of Dermatologist.
Clearly one of my best doctors. I’m always able to see the doctor within 15 minutes of my designated appointment. I think I get a thorough exam, description of item(s) to monitor and treatment as needed. Dr Ring has also been very accurate in diagnoses for my family members.
Dr. Dorward was on time, she listened carefully, and gave me what I felt was a thorough evaluation. She also was concerned on prescription costs and worked with me to try and save money!
Dr. Dorward and her staff are excellent! Always professional, kind and very helpful. It is easy to make your appointments, you normally don't wait and you don't feel like you are super rushed like you do with most Doctors while she is in the office with you. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a great Dermatologist!
Very efficient office with little wait time! Dr. Miller has been wonderful to work with both adults and children.
The doctors are fantastic here! They’ve helped with so many of my skin problems and i couldn’t be more thankful!
I have no complaint about the doctor who I saw, but the business side is not very good. There seems to be a communication issue. Either I get no return phone call, or two people call me back on the same day. There is no excuse for having to wait 48 hours just to set up an appointment, or to speak to a doctor's representative. They want you to set up a "myPatientVisit" account but you cannot reach anyone to get a security code. I needed to cancel an appointment and even after I cancelled it I received multiple phone calls and emails asking to confirm my appointment. Again, an office/communication issue. No reflection on the doctors. I have taken my dermatology business elsewhere. This new practice is much more customer service oriented and I was able to make an appointment immediately.
This was a check up. Everything looked pretty good. Everyone was very nice as usual. Set another appointment for 6 months.
Very Professional , friendly staff and clean environment. Dr Ring is patient and forthright in his responses and suggestions. Very good experience
Dr. Ring appeared to be knowledgeable and took his time during my appointment. They told me they would call in one prescription, gave me a requisition for blood work and said they would call in another prescription after getting the results. They scheduled my next appointment 6 weeks later. Once I left the doctor's office, I heard nothing. They didn't call in either prescription, didn't call back about the blood work results. They did send me another bill because they collected the wrong copay at the time of the visit. I received an invoice from the lab because they billed the insurance company. I called the office 5 weeks later to cancel my appointment. I explained why I was canceling and she told me she would have a supervisor call me. The nurse called me back and made it sound like she was following up on her own... not because I complained. She told me they had no blood work results... which is very odd because they gave me the form with their information on it.... She said they called my first prescription in... but apparently to a different pharmacy... which I'm not sure I believe because I'm sure the Walgreens would have called to tell me my prescription was ready!! The nurse asked if I wanted to reschedule; I obviously said no! She apologized, but seemed to blame the lab instead of their office. Either way, it was a waste of my time and my copay!! I had read back reviews before going there, but I thought I would give them a chance anyway. I should have known when the receptionist made me stand at her desk for 5 minutes while she worked on something else, that maybe this wasn't the right Dermatologist for me.
Dr Ring is simply the best. There are no words. Not only has he found melanoma early enough to remove it without worry, he also miraculously found that my thyroid was enlarged, which led me down the path to have it checked out, and it turned out to be thyroid cancer. A dermatologist who saved my life, there really is nothing more to say!! I am only 38 years old, and I feel like he has literally saved my life on multiplications.
Dr. Ring and his staff are always professional, friendly and punctual! The office is very accommodating and always clean. I’ve never had anything but good experiences in Dr. Ring’s office.
Love how the staff and doctors at West County Dermatology take care of their patients. Highly recommend!
Friendly and helpful staff!
I see Dr Breer and I feel he is both very thorough and knowledgeable. Seems to be a well run office overall as well.
Great dermatologist! I travel a long way to see him! He is very thorough and conscientious.
Appointments easy to make. Nurses and doctors professional and on time!
not impressed went there several times nice offices . but dropped the ball many times on my injections for my psoriasis , sometimes took days to get back to me or more and i never even got to speak to my doctor once outside the office. not a recommendation for me .stelara has an at home project dont believe me look it up. i need to do that in order to afford everything and i had to barter with the doctor so i didnt have to come in more than needed for these shots
I have seen dr. Blattel for years. She is a wonderful doctor and she has a great staff.
My daughters and I have visited West County Dermatology 5-10 times and have seen two different doctors. Both physicians were helpful, cordial, and competent. The low rating comes from the management of the office. First, most visits we have had to wait 30-45 minutes past our scheduled time to even be called back. On the recent visit they were more than one hour behind and told me they were so understaffed they definitely couldn’t have called to let me know. Second, when I’ve called to make an appointment, the phone is not answered and messages left are not returned. Third, in their “new system” they will not print an itemized bill for reimbursement by flex. You are required to call an out of state billing company for this. The reception staff seem stressed out and overwhelmed with office approaches and staffing levels that are inadequate. I really like our doctor, so this is disappointing!
Have seen Dr Breer for several years - very knowledgeable and always willing to take the time to answer questions. Always have had good experiences with the entire team.
I have been to the office for 3 times and on average I have to wait for half an hour to see the doctor. The doctor is nice. The treatment is really quick though. Doctor didn’t spend much time on examining. Maybe it’s common in dermatology.
I loved it! Dr. Ring took off a mole on my right arm and I got four shots! I couldn't feel a thing! DR.RING IS AWESOME!
Probably the worst “medical” experience I’ve ever had in terms of care. The doctors comes in for maybe 3 minutes, takes a quick look and throws some samples at you. They will not call the pharmacy back so I can actually get the medicine they prescribed me and it’s been 5 days. I’ve also been attempting to reach the place for 5 days and can’t even get through to anyone. Sure, they have a nice office and everything but you can tell this place is only concerned with turning a profit and if you want actual care, I recommend you look elsewhere.
DR BECK IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND Knowledgable. She removed a spot of my face very efficiently and pain free.
The dermatologist my husband and I have seen for years, Michael Mcadden, referred us to WCD and a new partner he had taken on, Dr. Beck. I have no complaints about her skills, however, when you call the office, everything is a recording and you have no choice but to leave a voicemail. And to add insult to injury, the message states that they will respond between 24 to 48 hours. So guess what? If you happen to be in a meeting, and can't take the returned call....you guessed it-you have to leave another message. Ridiculous, frustrating to say the least. I have NEVER experienced this lack of customer service with a physician's office. Presently, I am trying to get a prescription refilled before a long vacation and the pharmacy has called twice with no response from the office.
From the moment you enter West County Dermatology you are greeted and treated with upmost courtesy. The staff is wonderful. Dr. Wayne Breer is fantastic and puts you at ease. Extremely observant and professional with great bedside manner. His nurses are awesome. Highly recommended.
My father in law was seen for psoriasis and Dr. Miller was amazing. She was very kind and thorough and made my father in law feel comfortable. Definitely would recommend her to anyone looking for a Dermatologist.
Efficient and thorough.
If you want to wait 4 months for an appointment for some acne cream this is the office for you. If your doctor referred you for any other reason then find an alternate provider. They had 4 months to tell me they couldn't find a referral on file and instead tell me 20 minutes beforehand that they won't see me without it. Even after calling my doctor who committed to sending it over the same day they wouldn't see me since it wouldn't arrive before my appointment. I don't understand why they don't operate like any other doctor. One way or another they would have been paid whether it's out of pocket or from insurance. If I die from skin cancer I'll make sure to send you a thank you card.
Dr. Alicia Miller was kind, listened to my problem and gave me sufficient information to make a choice. She is also flexible.
I have been coming to West County Dermatology for years, perhaps decades. I have always enjoyed everyone there, except for their front desk staff. They have upgraded and now the whole experience is pleasant. Thank you.
We were very happy with the entire experience. We were greeted and checked in and out quickly. Dr. Miller was so nice and seemed to be genuinely concerned . Upon check out we were offered some samples and would recommend West County Dermatology highly. Everyone there was very pleasant and extremely helpful.
I couldn’t be happier with the physicians and staff at West County Dermatology. I had a wonderful experience and they truly helped me with my skin. Thank you so much!
I should have known how I was going to get treated when I was setting up my appt. I suggest wearing nice clothes visiting this office. I went in in between some bbqing with family and they pretty much burshed me off. Then, Dr Poojah looked at scalp for less than 2 sec, no joke, probably less than 2 sec. determined its eczema, prescribes me $500 med. They are more on cosmetic side, absolutely does not care about suffering of their patients. I couldn't sleep for 3 days cause of itchy scalp. This doc does not care at all.
My husband and I are both patients at this practice and unfortunately, our review is very similar to others here. The Doctors (Dorward, Blattel and Breer) are excellent physicians, professional, knowledgeable, kind and patient and we have every confidence in their care. However, waiting times can be ridiculous (I've waited over an hour) and the front and back office staff seem to have forgotten they are in the business of caring for people. They can be flat-out rude and demeaning and it appears they do not want to do anything that would require picking up a phone or getting out of their chairs to accommodate a patient. Customer service is not part of the culture of this office outside of the exam room. My husband has made the decision not to return and will be finding another practice. I'm on the fence only because good dermatologists aren't easy to find.
This most pathetic dermatologist office I have called, forget about doctor, the guy who picked the call was not talked in professional manner. I will NOT recommend this office. They don't don't even deserve for single star, since I need to give for sake if to post this experience, I am giving 1 star
Dr. Ring was very helpful and all staff were friendly and attentive- highly reccomend
I love Dr. Dorward and her staff! Dr. Dorward has already helped my skin tremendously. Her MA's are very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff is always inviting.
I'm actually surprised by the negative reviews on this page. I have been a patient of Dr. Ring's , one of the dermatologist at this practice, for nearly 20 years. Yes, a few months may seem like a long time to get into a doctor, but I've had poor doctors over the years and a few months is well worth the wait to me to get into a good doctor. I can tell you that Dr. ring has always spent time with me going over any questions I have had and he has taken the time to look closely into any concerns I might have. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and has also taking the time to reach out to other doctors I see to make sure a procedure that we are discussing does not interfere with any other health issue I might have. I've actually been extremely impressed with his care as a doctor and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a great dermatologist. In fact I do recommend him to my family and close friends. I cannot speak on behalf of the other doctors, but I will say their staff has always been well-trained and exceptionally friendly as far as I found. Not really sure why someone felt like they needed to dress up to go to this office. I normally go right after the gym and I'm a hot mess. I don't care and they have never seemed to care either. The staff has also been very accommodating as far as trying to fit me in at the last minute when I have had something odd healthwise happening.
My husband and I saw Dr. Blattel about a month ago. We were both very impressed with her and the entire staff. We liked her and the staff so much, we made our daughter an appointment, too.
I had scheduled an appointment and 3:30, and the everything seemed fine. When I tried to check in for my appointment, I was told that i didn't have an appointment. The front desk people made little effort to figure out why. They were rude and unacceptable
Great staff, nice office. Always timely and explain things thoroughly
Dr. Doward is wonderful, but the staff there is terrible and unprofessional. They do not return voicemails and if you do get a live person, they still send you to voicemail. Tried to get a prescription refilled after seeing Dr. Ring (not the best bedside manner) and it took 3 weeks and numerous calls for them to call in the WRONG prescription in which I paid $50 for a useless medication which was their error. I've left messages again, faxed a request for a someone to return my phone call etc. and still no response...this is week 5. I was a client for several years, but will not be going back nor referring them to anyone I know.
4:50PM on Friday, 11 October Just left from an appointment. I love doctor Ring❗️❗️ I would say 99 percent of the time I get in earlier than my scheduled appointment time❗️
Compassionate a kind, caring , complete Physician and staff. Appointments are timely. He takes time to explain what he’s doing. A wonderful doctor
Everyone is super nice. My previous dermatologist was more thorough with the regular skin checks than here. Otherwise, it’s a very nice place.
A great place. They were able to get me in quickly were very professional and helpful. Fully recommend!
Doctors are fantastic at this facility. The office staff, however, is VERY IMPOLITE and DISRESPECTFUL to their customers. We recently saw an ederly gentleman who was 4-5 minutes late to his appointment get verbally abused and publicly humiliated by the receptionist because, according to her, the doctor has a very tight schedule. She eventually made the old man reschedule his appointment. We thought that was very unnecessary, given the fact that the waiting room was empty, and we have been forced to wait up to 45 minutes to an hour for the doctor during our own appointments. On another occasion, a customer was scolded, because he didn't apparently know that he was supposed to bring his updated insurance card. Then, there was another occasion when we saw a young man in his teens (apparently) get publicly reprimanded because his parents forgot to send his copay with him to the appointment. We feel extremely lucky that we've only been observers for this type of treatment, I guess we've just learned how to tiptoe around the office staff. It's really unfortunate that people that are so unhappy with their own lives and personal predicaments have to take out their anger on their customers, the ones after all, that are really paying their hourly wage.
I had a not-so-great appointment here and left a review about the experience that my physician, Dr. Breer, called me to discuss. Ultimately, I’m not sure if we are a compatible doctor-patient match, but I deeply appreciated the time he took to call me and the professionalism of WCD in handling their patient feedback.
The doctors were so great and helped me so much.
Always a good experience.
I absolutely love dr.breer , he is always helpful and knowledgeable about my skin. Shows me he cares about his patients individually. And Janeen Reynolds is the best medical assistant there , always working hard and doing her job correctly, she is main reason i choose west county dermatolgy!!!
The staff was helpful and knowledgeable
No waiting. Capable and courteous staff. Answered all questions. Great visit.
Dr. Dorward is an excellent Doctor, but the administrative office is a nightmare, and I do not understand how this office has returning customers. This office does not have staff to answer your phone calls, so you'll be playing phone tag for weeks until you speak to anyone about anything. I have been going to this office for years, but I am now switching doctors due to the administration. I am extremely disappointed with my service and I highly discourage anyone from attending this office.
