My family had been going here for years. Going somewhere else now. The care recieved hasn’t been like it has in the past. We’ve been disrespected on our last few interactions now by the office. Never the doctors. They were always great.

Horrible pediatrician office that only cares about money. I was denied a flu shot booster for my 8 month old daughter because we have a bill. They care more about money than the safety and well being of children.

I've been taking my boys to this pediatric office since they were born (5 years ago). Scheduled appointments are always on time. We've recently had a few urgent care visits and I was expecting the worse, but to my surprise we didn't have a long wait either time. The staff is always incredibly friendly, really seem like they care and I always feel like they're listening to any concerns I have. I would highly recommend this pediatric office. The Internal Medicine side is a totally different story. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Just took my daughter in due to injury on arm and was instead handed papers stating they had terminated our "relationship" due to non-compliance with the vaccine policy back in June! This is September and I find out when I need them! Also, my kids have all needed vaccines so this is all bs but at least I know that patients are not important to them.

The most unprofessional and rude experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office. I was asked about one thing I came for while the other was disregarded, and I was rushed out before I could even bring up the other. I wasn’t asked if I needed any refills on my prescriptions which I do need. I wasn’t treated like more than someone to push through and get out. Awful. I’ve never been so disgusted or upset about a doctors office.

I've had multiple bad experiences here. My most recent one happened when I went in because of a sore throat. After swabbing my throat for a strep test the doctor came back five minutes later and told me it was just an infection and to gargle warm water and get rest. They collected a secondary throat swab just to be safe and told me to expect results the next day. No one ever called me back and so I assumed that everything was fine. Five days later, I had been having trouble breathing and my tonsils were extremely swollen - that was when the nurse finally called me back to tell me that the initial results were wrong, that I actually did have strep, and that I needed to start taking antibiotics immediately. A strep culture does not take five days, people!!! I was miserable when I could have been taking antibiotics early on and getting better all because the lab made a mistake and they forgot to call me back the second day. I can't believe my doctor didn't even call to tell me about this mistake and that it was just a nurse. DON'T GO HERE unless you enjoy staying sick! I know I won't be back.

Every time we go, I feel me and my son receive the doctor's full attention. They are proactive when it comes to my son an d I feel comfortable with every doctor there. They never make me feel stupid when I ask questions. Both the nurses and the doctors try to help me as much as possible. They have my son on an expensive formula and they give me samples whenever they can to help us out. I love this office and will be sad if we have to move.

Stay far away from this practice. If you care about the softer skills associated with practicing medicine and not to feel like a number, steer clear. The administration has no desire to work with nor keep patients, sending a clear message of where their values lie.

Dont Waste your time

Things to consider when looking into this office Cons: *$15 after hours nurses line fees for each call *Cancellation/No show fees *if you don’t schedule a couple weeks in advance don’t plan On seeing your child’s doctor *LONG waiting periods on the phone, for EVERYBODY extension. I’ve taken my 4 year old here since he was a newborn. I used to like going to the office, I could actually talk to someone when I called in instead of waiting on hold for at least 10 minutes. You are constantly redirected to a voicemail for a callback or you have to wait for unreasonable amounts of time. I FINALLY reached my limit with this place. I took my 1.5 year old son in to the urgent care side of the office because he had a 102 fever, waited an hour to be seen, the doctor hardly looked him over and said it was just a virus. Later my son was still very uncomfortable so I took him to children’s mercy and they told me he had a DOUBLE EAR INFECTION! I was so upset I wasted my time at LSPG. When you go into the office expect an extended wait then the doctor will look at the chart/computer screen 80% of the 5 minutes they are in the room, listen to your child’s breathing then be on their way. It’s just a routine to them and they aren’t truly evaluating patients. Please save yourself the stress and go to a doctors office where you are appreciated and not just $$$$.

I really like Dr. Robb, but I have had several issues with the office. The latest is a prescription with a new insurance. It was issued the 3 rd. of March and still not refilled by the 29 th . I can talk to everyone very promptly, by phone, except the Doctors Office.

We LOVE our Pediatrician, Dr. Gershon, and the amazing staff at LSPG. Dr. Gershon has taken amazing care of all 4 of my babies since my first was 8 months old in 2007. He also is the Pediatrician for my niece and nephew, also since birth 9 years ago. The kids live him, and I love how he always takes the time to make sure Mom, Dad and home are doing well. Truly all-encompassing child care. We have lived in 3 other cities, but never will leave LSPG. We have also used Dr. Yanetti, equally an amazing provider!

Doctors are great, billing department not so much... Did not tell me at multiple visits that my insurance was out of network for kiddos and we had a accumulating balance. Explained she really needed to be seen for a medical check but was denied due to balance. In addition, never assume people are getting statements until you actually talk to them. I had to find a new doctor so that my daughter could be cleared for surgery. I never complain and have never written a review before, but this place is supposed to be for children! .

So... we're waiting to be discharged from Shawnee Mission Medical after bringing our daughter into the world and our temporary Pediatrician tried calling to schedule an appointment on our behalf. Lee's Summit Physicians Group would not allow the hospital to make an appointment... okay, no big deal. We tried calling ourselves to make this appointment and we were put on hold for 40 minutes only to talk to a receptionist who schedules appointments. The scheduler then told us that a scheduler would call us back within 2 hours time to schedule after giving us the run around. The lady was also rude. We considered using them because they're close to where we live and our daycare... but they will never see our business... EVER.

You can expect 5min visit with a doc then out the door with a script. They don't care about you, just give those pills. You better be a pharmacist or watch commercials so you know what to ask them for too! Would give zero stars.

So, my 2nd visit, was told I did not have an appointment. After 20 min of waiting, they found in my notes that I did have an appt that did not get put on schedule. Was told "we cannot accommodate you today, we can make an appt for tomorrow." This is after I had to leave work early. I told them I would find a new doctor. The kicker this was after a HARSH lecture from Cindy, the nurse practitioner, about not missing appts, etc on my very first visit. New doctor already found.

Minus 10 stars!!! Worst doctors office experience EVER! They didn't even listen to my fiancé lungs even after telling them he smoked and it had been at least 7 years since he had been to see a doctor. REFUSED to do any blood work...needed to make a separate appointment!!!! REALLY???!!! He had a SEVERE case of shingles in his eye and head and eye specialist said he needed to see a general practitioner for the optic nerve pain and severe migraines. Cindy ALDRIDGE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR HIM!!!!!!!!!! Told him not to stress and go to his happy place!!! SERIOUSLY????????!!! When you haven't slept for 72 hours straight due to the instense pain??!!! Refused to do blood panels after not being in a doctors office for over 7 years??!! Something is SERIOUSLY wrong with Cindy Aldridge and this office. He has been off work for almost 2 weeks and no income and we paid $40 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Cindy Aldridge should be ashamed of herself and Lee's Summit Physicians Group should hang their head in shame to have such a cold hearted, cruel, unconcerned, judgemental member on their staff!!!!!!!!! Even the Saint Luke's emergency room doctors told him it was one of the worst cases of shingles in the eye they had ever seen and he was going to be very lucky if he didn't go blind in his eye!!!!!! WE SHOULD BE REFUNDED THE CO PAY OR LET HIM SEE A REAL DOCTOR THAT WILL ACTUALLY CARE AND TAKE THE TIME TO DO SOME ACTUAL TESTS AND BLOOD WORK!!!!!!!!!

My rating of 5 stars goes to Dr. Barbara Trites. After watching my child suffer for the first 16 months of his life, I found a new Pediatrician (Dr. Trites) who knew immediately that something was very wrong. She; LISTENED, asked appropriate questions, reviewed videos/sound clips of my sons breathing/gagging/choking/stridor and she spent almost an hour with us, while I cried and begged her to help my child. I think she could hear the desperation in my voice. Dr. Trites immediately jumped into action and got him into Children's Mercy ENT clinic for an evaluation. He was diagnosed that day at CM with severe Laryngomalacia and possible Laryngeal Cleft. (The cleft diagnosis was substantiated during a bronchoscopy, later.) He had a swallow study performed at CM which showed penetrations/aspiration with all liquids until we had thickened the liquid to an almost honey consistency. Although I was thankful for answers, I was also terrified for my son and devastated, knowing that he had been drowning in his own fluids all that time.... 2 surgeries later, (One at age 23 months, which required my sons airway to be reconstructed) and my son was finally freed from the unfair prison he had been locked into for so long. My son is a fighter. My son survived. I truly love Dr. Trites and his ENT Specialist/Surgeon, Dr. Adrian Latz... They saved my sons life. ♡ No amount of 'thank you's' could ever be enough to express my sincere gratitude. However, I will continue saying it because you deserve it. Thank you Dr. Trites. For listening to me, taking extra time to evaluate him, not making me feel like a 'overbearing first time mom' and showing me that my son and I found another person to advocate for him and that was you. You will forever be in our hearts, as you helped to save the life of a little boy who had been through hell and back. He is turning 8 years old this year and graduated from the ENT clinic 2 years ago! We did it! ♡

I'm not a fan of the PCP side, but the PEDIATRICIANS are AWESOME. There's not one of them that have disappointed me in the nearly 4 years we've been going there. My girls are in great hands -- they're thorough, attentive, and kind. Professional but real. I drive all the way from Cass County to this location because of their service and care.

First off I have never in my life left a bad review for a business. We have been going to this pediatricians office for 6 years. They were wonderful at first. You would call and get an immediate response, the front desk was so polite and the wait time was minimal to nonexistent when you went in. However, the place has gone downhill in the last year or so. In January, I scheduled my kids 5 year checkup and 1 year checkup. They called that morning and had to reschedule our appointments because the doctor we were scheduled to see called in sick. Ok, no big deal, that’s life. We rescheduled and went in. They had to see separate doctors so we got there 15 minutes early, checked in and waited close to 30 minutes in the waiting room. So technically 15 minutes because we were early. Still no big deal. Then we wait in the room for like 30 more minutes. Now I’m getting irritated. We see the doctor for my 5 year old, it takes her longer than expected. So when she is done I ask when the next doctor will be in and I was told to go up front and check him in but we can keep our same room. I left my 5 year old in the room with my phone and went up front. When I went up there I was told that we were 30 minutes late for our appointment so I had to reschedule. I explained to the girl, who could have cared less, that I had been there for close to 2 hours and we were in the room with my older son. Still didn’t care. I spoke with a supervisor and she was equally as rude. By this point I was almost in tears because I was so mad at the situation and how I was being treated. They would not see us and so we left and had to make another appointment for my 1 year old. They sure did charge me for 2 office visits too! So fast forward to today. I’m on hold to speak to a receptionist to schedule my 18 month old appointment. I wait on hold for 30 minutes, finally talk to someone and am told they cannot schedule an appointment because I have a balance. Mind you, I am on a payment plan and have been a client there for 6 years. I have never not paid them. I said so my baby just doesn’t get his 18 month shots and she said “no sorry, but it’s ok. He can actually wait until his 2 year old shots if you want”. I’m just beyond done with them. There is no personal attention left with them and they care more about money than anything else. Sad thing is I absolutely love Dr. Trites. She is amazing and I would give her personally 500 stars.

Most rushed, unprofessional dr. appt i've ever had. Showed up for my physical, Dr. Barnard saw my insurance sheet, and stated "Great, another one of these... well, let's get this over with!" THREE MINUTES later i was back in the waiting room to be called for my blood work.

I have came to Lee's Summit Pediatrics for the last 3 years, with my oldest son. Of course having another child instinctively they were my first choice for my second also. I have never gotten a flu shot for myself, or my oldest son. So the same response would be for my youngest also. My 3 year old went in for a physical today and my 6 month old needed to have a wellness check up. My 6 month old missed the 4 month appointment due to the office telling me he wasn't needed to be seen until 6 months. Because of this, he was behind on shots. They asked if i wanted him to have a flu shot and I said no. OF course i put my trust into the dr i told this to Kailey Wilson? I don't remember, she's not even on their list of doctors. Coming to find out, after all 6 shots given and one oral they gave him the flu shot ANYWAYS. It's uncalled for, and mistakes like this can't be acceptable. I'm filing a complaint. with the missouri board. It's assault. and a violation of the CDC. I am LIVID.

I’ve been going here since I was about 12. I went in today for something serious. Usually I’m on the pediatric side cause I’m a teen. But today, the lady said I was going on the other side cause I’m pregnant. They told me they don’t accept my card, that the person I was supposed to see had no opening(after being told she had two open), then I got told they don’t accept new patients. Thanks a lot. Now I don’t have a main doctor and I can’t get seen much anywhere to help my problem before it results into worse. I wouldn’t recommend going here if you don’t like switch ups.

I never would take my child here nor would I trust them to take care of any animal! NEVER recommending.

normally I have good experiences here. The staff is always friendly and I don't feel like I am being rushed. But this latest experience has me pretty ticked off. I was told I had to wait for a vaccine to come in, call back next week it should be here. OK, no problem...three weeks later it is in. Make the appointment, come in for it and wait, and wait, and wait for them to come in and tell me that someone didn't read my chart correctly and they can't give my daughter with the vaccination because my insurance doesn't cover it. Thanks so much for the wasted time, effort, and worry (on my daughter's part) that could have been avoided if you guys learned to read.

On the hunt for a new pediatrician! I have tried and tried to give this pediatrics group the benefit of all my doubts, but I am done. Docs never know my kids when we come in or remember their background, they have misdiagnosed both kids which ended up multiple trips to the ER, and a heafty bill. They charge for calling the afterhours hotline, not flexible with appointments and had so many issues with the front desk trying to get school paperwork up to date. And they wouldnt refill my sons pink eye prescription without a paying visit. My old pediatrician would also see both of of my kids in a single office well visit--Im going back to them, never realized how good I had it. Do not go to this place.

I've called the Blue Springs location and the Lee's summit location for the last two hours at least 10 times trying to get my daughters vaccination records... All it does is ring and ring, no options no one picking up... nothing... It is also 3:00 no reason for this..

If it was possible to leave a zero star review, I would. We had no problems at first with the company but then we were charged extremely high fees for the visits when we have insurance. Dealing with the office they were not upfront and gave false confidence everything was covered. Four months later, we get our first bill with the high rates. When dealing with their billing office, they were disrespectful and rude. Including their manager, Julie, who did not even try give us assistance. I would not recommend taking anyone to this office, especially your newborn or child.

We have had nothing but bad experiences with these providers all together. First when I took my daughter and 6 month old son in for shots the raintree pediatric gave my kids the wrong shots. Right there I never went back to them. The only explanation the nurse gave me was in sorry, it shouldn't hurt them. I started using the one off blue parkway in less summit which have had nothing but good experiences with until yesterday. We took our daughter in because she was complaining her ear was hurting. We got seen by one of the doctors that said well she is sitting at about a 5 out of 10. I wouldn't recommend antibiotics right now. Give her Tylenol and Advil to keep the pain down. If you notice tomorrow she hasn't gotten better or is complaining just call us. We won't make you come in. I will put a note in her file to call an antibiotic in for her. We made sure it wouldn't be an issue and we wouldn't need to go back in and he assured us there would be no issue. So my husband called first thing this morning to get something called in because she was in pain. When he got the messaging center they told him if you don't hear back from us within 30 minutes call back. My husband called back 2 more times with one time them answering and being rude and the next time they didn't answer and he left a message. He then decided since it was almost 11 to drive up there. He explained to them everything that happened the day before. Now he had to wait around in a sick lobby until they could reach another doctor to call it in. I can honestly say first thing Monday morning I will be dropping them and finding a different pediatric doctor. These two offices have the worst helpers. For people who are supposed to be in the field of helping sure have lost that touch. If your thinking about making them your kids pediatrician you probably should think twice.

The worst experience I have had with a physician. I went into Dr. barnard and he completely ignored what I said. I told him I wanted a holistic approach and by the time I left he prescribed 4 pills, one of which was a pill that gave me stomach ulcers in the past. He acted as if he didnt even want to treat me and was annoyed I was there. If i could give 0 stars I would.

I bring both my children here. They each have a different doctor, and both are great pediatrics. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. I've brought my kids in for urgent care too, and we were in and out in 30min. I can always call them if I have questions and they also get back to me promptly. My children feel so happy coming here. They always make them feel better and not afraid. Nurses and front desk are also great!!

We generally check in on time or a little early and we always wait at least 15 minutes before they call us back to the room. We have been coming here for years and only because of Dr. Campbell, she is fantastic. The average amount of time is 1 hour or more with only 15 minutes of time spent with a professional. The other 45 minutes is spent waiting. I work in healthcare and they have issues diagnosing adult symptoms correctly. If you’re an adult, request Dr. Barnard or go to another clinic. If it is a pediatric appointment involving attention deficit issues, go with Dr. Campbell. I suggest addressing your healthcare issues elsewhere.

Dr. Gershon has seen my boys since birth in the hospital, and is wonderful! He is very thorough, knowledgeable and empathetic with his patients and family. My oldest has been through alot in 7 years and Dr. Gershon has always been supportive. I highly recommend him. Sam will never forget when he made him a angry bird balloon out of a latex glove! Now he asks every Dr. he sees and no one else has done it except Gershon! We really love Lauren Lee, CPNP, and are sometimes able to get in to her a little easier. She is awesome and loves her job!! My boys really like her, and she's easy to talk to. I feel they both really listen to my concerns and care for my children. Thank you both! Most everyone else we've seen has also been helpful too!
