My family has been going here since 2006, they have great Nurse Practitioner and Dr. McEwen is the BEST dermatologist EVER!!! We never have a problem getting an appointment with the provider of our choice. Dr. McEwen is our favorite and we prefer to see him, but if he is not available we also really like Amber Kunshek, NP and Taryne Hensley. We find all of them to be attentive and personable. We like Dr. McEwen enough that with the new obamacare we won't choose a health plan that doesn't include him. He has taken care of me, my husband and 2 kids and we have been happy with everything. I would highly recommend Lees Summit Dermatology for anyone!

Not impressed at all with Mr. McEwen whatsoever. My daughter and I both felt like he didn't not listen to our concerns. He suggestion oral contraceptives to me for my minor daughter and when I declined it on behalf of my daughter, he turned to her and told her directly that she should take it. He also continued to push another medicine my daughter has been on for over a year with little results even though we tried to tell him it wasn't working and that we wanted something different. He ignored me as the parent and talked over me several times as well. We will not be back.

Had my first appointment with Dr. McEwen today. It was a very informative visit. He took his time and answered all my questions. He was attentive to my concerns and explained the routine I need to follow for maximum benefit. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Dr McEwen is an excellent Dr but all of his help are rude. He won't see me after 14 yrs of being his patient because I didn't get along w his assistant, Taylor. The appt desk is rude also. I was in disbeliefwhen i tried to make an appt and she came back and told me he wouldn't see me. Ive sent several others to see him and have spent thousands out of pocket.

Scheduled an appointment for 850. Received a text confirmation for the same time. Showed up at this time (not late)And was told I should have been there earlier? For what I ask, paperwork. I said there has been no change. She says I still need to fill it out so I start filling it out. She leaves. Comes back and says I need to reschedule? For what? That I didn't come in 15 minutes earlier. I've been coming to see this group since 2005!! The lady was so rude and it is terrible that 4 patients were lost today and it wasn't the docs or nurse practitioners fault. Seems like they should make the appointments for the times they want us there. Or at least confirm for that time!!! Patients do not receive notices on "office policies". What's the point of a scheduled time and confirmation if that's not what you mean? Terrible

Minimal wait time. Answered all my questions. Took the time to talk to me. Would rec.
