This is the best dermatologist I have been to. He actually knew what he was talking about, unlike the dermatologist in Jackson MS. I was misdiagnosed with a skin infection in Jackson, and I had to deal with this problem for months because it didn't go away. Dr. Byrd knew exactly what it was just by looking at my hand and getting a skin scrapping. He might not be the nicest person, but he has great bed side manners! I would recommend anyone to him. DO NOT go to the Dermatologist Associates in Flowood MS.

Dr. Byrd is exceptional. It is obvious that he cares about his patients. He saw my 14-yr old daughter regarding a skin issue. Although she was nervous, Dr. Byrd put her at ease immediately. Because my daughter has fair skin, I'm concerned about her getting sunburns and I asked Dr. Byrd to talk to her about preventative care. Dr. Byrd kindly discussed the importance of her wearing sunscreen daily. I appreciated his manner with her greatly.
