Everyone here was extremely friendly, professional, and oriented to patient care (something you do not see very frequently in the context of overbooked, inattentive medical appointments). The facilities were also very comfortable and arranged with attention to patients, which made the experience much easier.
I saw Dr. Walcott, who was extremely thorough, capable, and caring about breathing difficulties I have experienced for more than 10 years. He provided information on a level I was able to understand and ingest, and went out of his way to get me immediately connected to an ENT when he determined that my difficulty could be related to a completely disconnected (and largely symptom-free) condition. I'll also add that this condition was not within the typical purview of his specialty practice, but he had the wherewithal to suggest it as a possible concern anyway. This is most impressive, particularly in light of the fact that no one else I've seen in the past 10 years thought of it.
The results of my allergy testing were negative, and upon meeting with the ENT Dr. Walcott's suspicion of another condition was confirmed. I started on two benign medications, and within days my breathing, voice, and overall function returned to a state that I have not experienced in over a decade. I feel like a new person, and I am hopeful for improvement in my overall health for the first time in a long time. I am truly grateful, and wish that the medical community had more providers like Dr. Walcott.
