Was told they only accept newborns for new patients..... How does that even work?! how can you turn down a patient unless there are a newborn. Really messed up.

I had my daughter Dec 7th and i called to get a two week appointment four days after her birth. Since I had no insurance info to provide, they scheduled her appointment a month out. I took her to the clinic that I work for for her two week check-up since the pediatrician that assessed her at the hospital says she did not need to wait four weeks to be seen. I called to change her appointment for another date, and they wouldn't accept my daughter as a patient. "If we did not see her for her first visit, we can't see her for a two moth check up." - is what I was told. Unbelievable. I gladly have her established somewhere where they will accept new patients regardless.

Dr. Sims has been my child's Dr. since he was born. He is now going on 3. I love the location and the welcoming atmosphere each time i visit. I love that when i contact Dr. Sims with a problem shes able to get bk with me quickly and precise. I wouldn't change a thing.
