Being only 16 when I got pregnant it was super hard finding a doctor that would take me. Dr. Hamner is AMAZING. I ended up having to have an emergency c section due to my baby being breech and my scar is so small and I have no complications. The whole team treats you like family!

I LOVE dr Hamner. He delivered my son and is the best doctor I've ever seen hands down. I don't feel comfortable anywhere else. And as long as he's still practicing, I'll want him to deliver anymore children I have!

This has been my Dr for 14 years. I love going here. He birth all 3 of my children. I wouldn't trade him for nothing. The nurses are amazing and they feel like family. I really love Taleshia and Stephanie.

Dr. Hamner and Nurse Brown took excellent care of me before, during and after my pregnancy. It was a high risk pregnancy but I never felt any fear. All the possible complications were explained and my questions were answered at every appointment. During my delivery, via c-section, Dr. Hamner was amazing. He made me feel safe. I had zero complications after surgery and healed with very little pain. Thank you Dr. Hamner and staff for amazing experience.

The nurses are pretty good and Dr. Hamner isn't so terrible all the time. Although he did put me on a medication that the side effects causes me horrible headaches slurred speech tingling head and the feeling that I was going to faint. When I explained these effects to him he tried to tell me that it was not caused by the medication until I pulled up the side effects listed and all of them were listed. He changed my medication after that. They sent me to a high risk Dr. Telling me it was for my blood pressure but when I accessed my patient portal online it said I was being sent to the high risk Dr. Because they found spots on my sons heart on my ultrasound and I was never made aware of this. I have since kept up on my patient portal. I was never notified of the protein in my urine or the glucose either. Now I've been waiting on my fmla paperwork for 2 weeks and still nothing. Every time I call the office they tell me they will be open the following day due to weather but still haven't opened back up. I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm wondering if I'll be seen. If the office is not open good luck getting any information from anyone at all. The after hours people are absolutely no help at all. Dr. Hamner is alright. I just love his nurses. The experience could be better but he does see a lot of patients. Every time I have been to him they have been packed full. Overall I would recommend this office compared to several others for sure.

Dr. Hamner delivered my first two babies and he was awesome. I just called to schedule an appointment with my third pregnancy and the lady refused to give me an appointment because I couldn't give her an exact date of my last cycle. Then she just put me on hold and never picked up again. I just hung up after about 20 min. I would love to have him for a doctor, but I can't even make an appointment.

If you're looking for an OB/GYN doctor, I would highly recommend Dr. Hamner and his staff at Methodist Southcrest Women's Clinic. Even though it's a busy office, they are very thorough and knowledgeable. The wait time isn't bad either. My hospital stay was nice too. The nurses were very helpful, I even received a thank you card from them once I returned home.

He delivered my first son and became my gynecologist since then. He’s Amazing! And to be honest I am some what startled on how some one can rate 1 star but yet has been an previous customer multiple times? Not saying that it is wrong, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But please do not rate horribly based on one occasion. Or if so; rate on the other office visits that lead you to become an returning patient previously as well. That way everyone can have the ability to read an accurate review that does not come off bias in anyway.

On the day of my appointment I called just to make sure I had everything needed due to me being a new patient during this call I was told that my appointment was moved to the next week. This has happened TWICE and I didn't receive any notifications saying that the time had changed. I'm taking off work for days I don't actually need !
