I am always in and out within 20-30 min. I think they run that clinic the way other people need to do theirs.

Returned to clinic after being on prescribed sinus medication for one week. My symptoms had worsen and was needing something different or more medication. Dr. Rivero was mildly okay if you want a fence post helping you. Her ability to press a computer button to actually turn in and fill my prescriptions at the pharmacy across the street from the clinic was incompetent. After waiting in the pharmacy for 30 minutes and sitting on hold on the phone for 15 minutes with the clinic, they actually told me it would be best for me to go home and let the pharmacy call me when the prescriptions were ready. I live 20 minutes from town and that wasn't about to happen since I was sick and didn't feel good. Seeing red from not only my sinus pressure eyes but also from anger, I drove back to the clinic to remind them that they needed to turn in my prescription. It took another 15 minutes for Pharmacy to fill my prescription. The clinic wasn't even busy while I was there so patient overload is not an excuse with this one. This was my second visit to BMC in Byram and it will likely be my last.

Initial visit Aug 16, 2018 and the doc told me no charge for a follow-up visit the next day. I paid my bill in full, or so I thought. Followerd up next day and was told at the counter the visit for today was $98. I asked the woman to speak with the doc as she said it would be no charge for this follow up visit. The woman returned after 15 mins and said the doc DID tell her there would be No Charge. I received 2 statements by mail for 2 differing amounts after this 2nd visit so I went in to the clinic to question why I received the bills. The 1st bill was for the initial visit which I paid the day of. The 2nd was for the remainder of the initial visit "which hadn't been sent up front yet". After getting it straigthened out I paid the bill in FULL before I left. Here it is almost 1 year later and I receive an overdue bill from a credit recovery agency for $98. I called Baptist and the woman said they always charge for a follow up visit. I RECEIVED NO ADDITIONAL STATEMENTS IN THE MAIL DURING THE JUST SHORT OF 12 MONTHS or I would have gone back in and/or paid the bill. My credit status was completely clean. The day of my 1st visit there was a couple at the counter who were there to question why they'd received an additional statement after paying their bill in full and the woman told them she had no way of knowing if they'd paid their bill or not. They needed to pay the bill. So, my understanding is this deceptive practice of charging patients over and over with the patient unable to dispute the charges is the standard of Baptist Medical Clinic.

I'm not very impressed with this place and it's unfriendly staff. They seem to be fairly incompetent and take hours to get small tasks done.

Miss work and show up 2 minutes to scheduled appointment and get turned away because she wasn’t 15 minutes early, with no notice to be 15 minutes early. Along with the bad attitudes this is it for me and us. I’ll never set foot in the place again
