Dr. Tim Anderson is everything you want in a pediatrician. I am devastated we had to leave Southdale Pediatrics and Dr. Anderson due to a cross country move. He caught issues early with both of my sons (peanut / tree nut allergy, eczema, asthma , behavioral concerns, etc) and gave great advice and treatment for any and all issues. I even had an issue where early child care providers thought my son might be autistic because of a few characteristics. I brought him in to see Dr. Anderson who looked at me after my 3 year who old just read from a book in the office and said, "He is just smart and bored, I promise you...watch him. He is most definitely not autistic." And by Kindergarten he was tapped for the GT programs. Dr. Anderson was right, as always. He is personable, knowledgeable and I wish I could take him with me. If you are looking for a pediatrician in the area, your search is over.

My husband and I have been taking our son to Southdale Pediatrics since he was born. We have had the best experience with Dr. Hansen! She is the only doctor that had the experience to properly diagnose and treat my son's skin condition (something that even a dermatologist could not diagnose) When we come in she always listens to our concerns and takes great care with our son. I highly recommend Dr. Hansen!

Dr. Timothy Anderson is an excellent pediatrician! Not only is he knowledgeable, dedicated, compassionate and caring he is also greatly respected among the medical professionals statewide! That is extremely reassuring!

We have taken our kids here for over a decade, and they always have been friendly and professional. The place is clean, the decor modern and diverting for the kids (watch the turtles in the terrarium/aquarium!). A real nice place for your children's doctor.

We have been taking our son to Southdale Pediatrics for about 2 years now. Our doctor, Dr. Hersey, is an excellent Pediatrician. She is kind, gentle and always takes the time to answer our questions. Being a first-time mom, she always makes me feel comfortable and is always cheerful and patient with my son. To be clear, I give Dr. Hersey 5/5 Stars. We have seen several other doctors at Southdale and have had positive experiences as well. However, the experience I had today has left such a sour taste in my mouth that I have taken time to post this review. I took my son in today to get checked for strep throat. He wasn't showing any of the symptoms usually associated with strep other than a slight cough, but several of the children at his daycare have all tested positive for strep this week. Unfortunately, our Dr. Hersey was on vacation and they scheduled us an appointment with Dr. Magnuson. Dr. Magnuson could not have been worse. I well never ever let my child be seen by Dr. Magnuson again unless it is an emergency and I have no other option. Dr Magnuson showed zero empathy towards me or my son. She was not friendly in any way. Dr. Magnuson was flat out rude. I have never in my life seen worse bedside manner from someone in the medical field, especially from a pediatrician. After she informed me my 23-month old son needed a nebulizer, I had several questions and she showed zero patience. She seemed annoyed that my son didn't enjoy having her hold his head down and strap a mask to his face after she had already shoved a swab down his throat and poked and prodded his ears. She informed me that she "didn't have time to stand here all day," while my son was crying and upset. She proceeded to leave the room without finishing telling me how to use the nebulizer and did not ask me if I had any questions for her. Overall, todays visit was an awful experience. I would give Dr. Magnuson 0/5 Stars. I selected 3/5 as my overall ranking because everyone at Southdale we have dealt with was been great, with the exception of Dr. Magnuson.

I’ve been there twice. The first time I had to wait in the room with a 3 year old for 30 minutes before the doctor even came in. Then the next time I was turned away while holding two children because I was 15 minutes late for my appointment that I thought I was on time for. The waiting room was empty and apparently they just wanted to start their evening early. Whoever set the policy about being 15 minutes late is so dense they don’t even see the irony of doctors upset when a patient makes them wait for even a few minutes.

I feel that some of the doctors there are not up to date on information. I was given some information that was very outdated. I have tried 3 different doctors there and have not been happy with any of them. One seemed very off and just an overall weird vibe. The second one gave me the outdated information. The third one was the worst. She made me feel like my decisions as the mother did not matter. She would become rude and short with us when we would say something that she did not agree with; Instead of discussing our concerns about whatever was disagreed upon, she just became rude and snippy. I will no longer be taking my son there as I have found a new clinic who is big on parental choice.

I have had a few sour experiences here but overall am very happy with our pediatrician. Dr. Hersey is absolutely fabulous - when our first son was born the doctor we already knew and wanted to see our son was not available for his first visit. Dr. Hersey blew us away and we've taken all of our kids to her ever since.

Dr Tim Anderson is a horrible doctor. His bedside manner is awful. Took my 15 year old in for a yearly physical exam and he told my son he was done growing, which should NEVER be told to a child at that age. My life has been miserable ever since. Even if that was true how about providing the child hope and positive feedback. NEVER going back!! We are not raising science projects but human beings with feelings. Thanks Dr. Tim Anderson for killing my sons happiness!

This is by far the WORST practice I've EVER been too. My child has been seen there twice, the first time was ok. This last time it has been AWFUL. The only pleasant thing about it was the reception staff. If you bring your child there, I would strongly advise you to not see Dr. W... There is no compassion or bedside manner and my child left in pain with NO direction on what to do to comfort her. I will not be returning.
