Like others have stated I have never been treated with such a lack of respect. Rushed through the appointment and felt as though I wasnt being taken seriously when I stated my concerns. Was asked personal questions behind a curtain where I know other employees and customers could here me, made me very uncomfortable and I was never even offered an alternative. To say this place is cheap and unprofessional would be an understatement. Never again.

I'm currently in my second pregnancy and, due to a recent move, this was my first pregnancy experience at this particular clinic. I have had no complaints about my provider, the receptionists nor the medical assistants who have been checking me at each visit for the past nine months; however, I am less than impressed with the service provided when I've called the nurse triage line. I've called this line twice: once to report a bodily change that I wasn't concerned about, but read that it was worth mentioning to my doctor; and once to return a voicemail about having possibly left a personal possession in a room. The nurse(s) I talked to both times were quite patronizing in how they spoke to me. The first nurse basically made me feel stupid for reporting the particular update, asking me where I read that i needed to call them and how they tell us in their class (a class that is really not necessary for second time moms, at least in my case, being that my pregnancies are so close together) that we shouldn't call. During the second circumstance, I was told the "key to voicemails" is listening to who was calling me. Apparently, it's unacceptable to just return a call and explain the situation in hopes that you could just confirm quickly with anyone at the clinic. While I realize people working there may be busy, I am a patient - and I'm choosing to give them my business. I would expect that the nurses could offer patients a better attitude if they are going to be handling the phones. At 39 weeks pregnant, chasing around a toddler and simply trying to return their phone call, the last thing I want to hear is a nurse scolding me for not remembering the name of the person who called me.

The nurses and receptionists were very nice but Dr McEllistrem was very rude. She hurried my visit along and didn't answer any of my questions.

I just chose to leave this health facility due to the extreme unprofessionalism of Dr. Cyal. She constantly cancelled on me at the last minute despite my scheduling appointments well in advance. If I were to cancel my appointments with her, I would still have to pay for wasting her time. I work full time and required continuous follow ups, because she did not know the reason for my illness. She simply continued to try different medications for me and could/would not answer my questions. I found this very disconcerting because this is my life - my health - that I am concerned about. After arriving at her office yesterday morning for my scheduled appointment, again, she could not see me. I have never experienced this with any other OBGYN before and was not happy. The receptionist called my home phone instead of my cell phone to tell me of my cancellation. For six months I have been suffering with this particular health issue with basically no feedback and cancellations from Dr. Cyal. When I complained about this to the two receptionists, and asked what could be done about this, one of them offered to see if anyone else was available to see me. I then realized that I appreciate having a relationship with my doctor and did not want to deal with a substitute while continuing to see if Dr. Cyal would ever follow through for me. Fortunately, I have a great relationship with my Nurse Practitioner at another medical facility and I told the receptionists that I would see her instead. I received no empathy, nor sympathy from either of them. Instead, one of them quickly asked, "Would you like to take your records with you"? I told her that my Nurse Practitioner already has them. The next day, after tests were taken by my Nurse Practitioner with the other medical facility, I finally found out what was wrong with me after six months!!! Shame on Dr. Cyal and OBGYN Partners!!! What if my health quickly deteriorated or declined - or worse - due to lack of care and CONSTANT CANCELLATIONS from Dr. Cyal??? Clearly, the staff at OBGYN Partners does NOT CARE about their patients!!! I will never go OBGYN Partners again, even after my years of patronage to them. Additionally, I DO NOT RECOMMEND OBGYN PARTNERS TO ANYONE AT ALL!!!

I can not say enough about the ladies in this clinic. I have been a patient of Dr. Syal's for years and I look forward to seeing her every year. She is always patient and I think she even enjoys seeing me :) Erica was my nurse and she was awesome! She really cared about making sure I asked all the questions I had and was fun to talk with. I can't forget Rachel at the front desk who took the time to help me find out more details on a dermatologist that Dr. Syal had recommended. Sometimes this annual check up isn't the most fun but I look forward to seeing this amazing group each year. Thanks to all for what you do!

This office is so convenient and the staff is amazing! I can always get in same day when needed. The MDs and Nurse Practitioner have my back and are taking really great care of me! So appreciate that they have this new convenient location.

I went to partners and saw Megan Mcellistrem for my first pregnancy. It was great the first time around. I felt comfortable with her. Felt like I could talk to her, even though at times felt very rushed. However, I went to the new clinic location when I found out I was pregnant with our second. Very nice new place. The ultrasound tech was very nice and somewhat explained everything she was doing. After that I had a nurse come in and do blood work which led to me unfortunately, fainting because I don’t do well with blood. A few days later I get a very upsetting call from dr. Mcellistrem telling me that my blood work came back with something in it that gave me a very sick to my stomach feeling. She acted as though it was completely nothing, even though what she told me I could possibly have could of been life threatening. She just told me I needed to go else where for further testing. I was in such shock I could hardly talk to her on the phone. I hung up in complete tears and called my family who was also very upset, shocked, sad, and very worried. I called back after I pulled myself some what together to have her give me further explanation as to how this could be. How could my test results say that?? She couldn’t of acted more annoyed that I was calling her back questioning her with some very serious questions. She again, acted like it was nothing and she couldn’t reassure me that I could of gotten a false positive or anything. After I demanded to come back in for more blood work she just said “sure, I’ll put you down today at 2.” I felt so disappointed in her response. She never once explained anything to me. Actually, kind of accused me of being an IV drug user, or my husband was possibly having an affair. I’m not sure how I could stick a needle in my arm when I faint at the sight of blood and needles but okay? I came back in for blood work. The nurse actually answered WAY more of my questions then she ever did. I felt like I got more info from the nurse then anything I have gotten from dr. Mcellistrem. How disappointing. Isn’t the doctor the one supposed to be explaining these issues with me? It was obvious she just didn’t want to talk to me on the phone. The nurse told me I would find out my results in 3-5 days. Six days later!!!!! I’m waiting and waiting by my phone for a call. I finally couldn’t wait any longer so I called the doctors office myself hoping she could tell me my results. The nurse told me the results where in but the doctor has to call me. I waited another very long hour all for her to call me and says that the results came back negative and I “shouldn’t worry” it was like she wasn’t even going to call me and tell me these results unless I called myself. I just worried for six days straight.(LEAVING THIS IN TWO REVIEWS)

Cannot love Partners' enough!!! They've helped my wife and I to have 2 beautiful baby girls - love every single doctor and nurse we have had the pleasure of working with, especially Dr Kohl's and Dr Syal!!

I have been seeing Dr. McEllistrem for almost 10 years for pregnancies and yearly exams. She always takes time with me and asks how the family is. Would recommend her to anyone.

I am due to have my baby in 3 weeks. I called here to make an appointment to establish care with a doctor. The lady on the phone sounded nice but she kept on insisting that they can refuse care because I can't drive to my old clinic and sign a release of information. The doctor refuses to see me unless she sees my records first. I told her that I know I am able to sign it when I come in for my visit, but she insisted on arguing with me and refused care. This is NOT OKAY. and not to mention ILLEGAL. Something needs to be done about this .

The nurses and everyone but Dr. Syal was wonderful. I wanted to talk to her about changing my birth control because it has been causing me trouble ever since I have started it, and she said that she wouldn't change it because I was a smoker. Now this was about a year ago and I am due for my annual but I refuse to go to her again. Now after just talking to another woman who had gone to her one time when she first found out about her pregnancy and she said that Dr. Syal had told her she was going to be a bad mother because she was a smoker. she was so upset about this statement (as I would think that any expecting mother would be) that it made her cry. I wish that I could find another Dr. within this clinic, because it is conveniently close to my house but with the way that I had been cared for before makes me not even want to give them another chance.

New location in the HealthEast Clinic and Specialty building is beautiful. Front desk staff, business office and the medical staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was able to make an appointment withing a reasonable amount of time and follow up appointments were scheduled in timely manner also. I certainly didn't want to make this appointment, but the care and professionalism were superb.

I have been going to this clinic since I was 16, and I am now 33 trying to have my first baby. Dr. Syal is amazing and she cares very much for her patients and has some of the best bedside manner I have ever experienced. This company is owned by the providers, so they have their own say in thiings, and its all women who work there. What more could you ask for?! If you are looking in the Maplewood area don't look any further, this is the place you want to be.

Amazing staff from the front desk to the doctors! Everyone is so caring and genuine. Dr. Syal is an amazing doctor! I can't say enough about her. She cares so much about her patients! Thank you to for a wonderful staff at OB partners.

Disappointing and upset:( The nurse that took my vitals and answered some of my questions was excellent! (believe her name was Mai) She is a great asset to your team at Partners! Dr McEllistrem was in such a hurry to get in and out, that she did not even ask how I was or if I had any questions. It was a disappointing visit, unlike the last visit that I had there. I did not need nor request a full physical, as I was just seen at St Johns recently. I wanted to ask her medical questions, but before I could even talk, she was in and out. I normally go to HealthEast, but my Dr has moved to another clinic, so I went back to Partners since they have my records and have been there before. If you're looking for a detailed, understanding clinic, I would stick with a regular physicians office as they seem to have a little more time and understanding. I know the nurse knew me better when I left than the Dr did, and that's not necessarily a good thing. :( signed, disappointed and upset

Wow, I can't believe that I am writing a review that's going to be similar to those that's already on here. I saw Dr. Fried in March 2018 and I, too, thought she was in a rush. I purposely came to this clinic because I figure they specialize in women and maybe they can help me with my recurring problem. Dr. Fried did my whole pelvic/pap smear exam and she was quick quck and done. I was in shock when she inserted the tool inside of me without any warning that it was going in. I had questions about my issue that I wanted to address more about, but she was just as clueless and unhelpful like the rest of the MDs that I've seen. Overall, I paid out of pocket (no insurance) for sh*tty service that I wish I could've taken back. I'm sorry, I came in because I had a concern, but I felt rejected. If you go to the website, her bio says she wants to help women...um no she don't. So this place was pretty helpless. Perhaps the few other doctors are different. I really don't know, but I would NOT go back or recommend Dr. Fried.

My wife was recommended by her primary doctor and I went along trying to be the supporting husband. I was shocked how mean the nurses and doctors are here. This place does not accept any husbands, future fathers, small sons, or any man form. Future woman patiences leave your husbands at home. They sure know how to hurt your feeling of the opposite sex.

Kara Pratt

All of the doctors are kind and professional. They really listen to what I have to say

Nightmare situation with billing. They did not bill the correct insurance and refuse to resubmit for coverage on an annual check up. Billing staff and manager are indifferent. Been trying to correct their error for over a year. Boggles the mind as to why they would not want to get paid.

I've been going to this clinic for 15 yrs and am so happy to have found them from such a young age. I've seen many of the doctors but Dr. Syal, Dr. Goralski and Dr. McEllistrem are fantastic. Dr. McEllistrem was my prenatal doc and was wonderful with all three of my babies. I've referred many friends to them and they have all had wonderful experiences there! Highly recommend Partners OBGYN

Love this clinic. I've seen several doctors and they have all been great. I have gone here for many years. Two healthy babies thanks to Dr. McEllistrem. Thanks for taking such good care of us Partners!

Christine Huesman

I absolutely LOVE this place. All the staff are amazing espiescally Dr.Fried. She took care of us through my whole pregnancy. She is the sweetest and most calming person to be around and is genuinely a wonderful Doctor who cares very much and it shows ♥️

Julie Schneider

I love this clinic and especially Dr. Syal! I have been going to Partners for years and have always had excellent care. My interactions with all of the staff have been positve and respectful. They have all taken the time to listen and are caring. One of the things I appreciate about Dr. Syal is that she always takes the time to listen to me in a respectful and compassionate manner. It makes me feel like my medical concerns are important to her. She is knowledgeable and stays up to date on women's medical issues. Her recommendations and advice have always led to good results for me. When she performed my hysterectomy she was reassuring and also so kind to my husband as he was nervously waiting to hear results. I trust Dr. Syal to always do what is best for me. I would highly recommend Partners to any woman.

Cristina Miralles Cardona

Best care! I see Dr. Syal for my annual check-ups and she delivered my 2 boys in 2012 and 2015 respectively. Complications arose with both of my deliveries and she took very good care of us. She was knowledgeable, knew what she was doing and acted fast in her decisions under time pressure. I know she gave recommendations and made decisions on what was best for me and my unborn children and she made me feel save during those vulnerable moments. During visits, her feedback is straight forward, direct, honest and again given for the best interest of whoever she has in front of her. If I have heard feedback from Dr. Syal that I haven't liked it has been because I had to change something for the benefit of my children's health and it was hard to accept for me and make those changes (i was never able to to make the changes- not gain so much weight so fast during my pregnancies). I just read two not positive reviews about Dr. Syal and they saddened me. I rarely write reviews because I have no time as I am a mom working full time with two highly active boys but this grants my time. Yes, it is frustrating when an appointment gets cancelled and you have to reschedule but if that happens to you it's because she might have to go deliver a baby. She will do the same thing for you when it's your time to deliver. Thank you Dr. Syal for all you did for my family!

I love Dr Syal and my MA. The triage nurse line is pathetic. Very rude. I was waiting for a return call regarding a medical question. I called back before closing since I wanted an update. Apparently all of the nurses were already gone. The person that took my call and didn’t give me her name and job title until I asked. A SCHEDULER was taking down the information. Not qualified in the slightest. I do not recommend this clinic and this will be my last pregnancy here. I would switch if I weren’t already 36 weeks pregnant. I did complain to HR (since there is no nurse in charge) and instead of just letting me make my complaint, she kept saying they have protocols they have to follow. There is more, but honestly I’m just over this clinic. Terrible.

Sarah jane

I've gone here for years and delivered 3 babies with this clinic and I couldn't recommend them more! I've always seen dr Kohls but I've also seen other doctors for routine and pregnant visits as well as had Dr Mcelstrum (sp?) deliver my second child and I never once felt that any doctor I saw rushed me through a visit or didn't spend ample time talking to me or answering my questions. The staff is lovely and made me feel like my care was the most important thing when it came to me and my babies. I highly recommend this practice!!

Kristen Nordahl

All of the providers at Partners are FANTASTIC!!!!

Missy Dykstra

Best place to go if you are expecting a child! The receptionists are friendly and helpful if you need anything. If you are under the weather and need to speak to a triage nurse, they call back in a short amount of time. All the doctors are amazing and truly care about your progress, we see Dr. Votel who is wonderful!

Becky Wegwerth

When I became pregnant, my family physician referred me to Dr. McEllistrem for care. She was fantastic in every aspect. She's always on time, listened to and carefully answered my million questions, never spoke to us as though she was "above" us, but instead put herself on our level and made it extremely easy to talk openly and honestly with her. I couldn't have asked for a better physician throughout my pregnancy and post care. I've also seen Drs. Waschbusch, Syal and Goralski and feel the exact same way about each physician. We never felt rushed or like we were part of an assembly line. I'd absolutely recommend Dr. McEllistrem and this practice to others looking for OBGYN care.
