I'm 34 weeks and Dr. Larson and the entire team have been great. I'm very happy I switched from a large hospital where I felt like a number to the OBGYN West team.

Well each time we saw the doctor she seemed too busy for us. Always called away on an emergency. We were left in a room she said she’d be back never came back. We were left back there for almost 2 hours. Umm how come no body came back? I.E.:: nurse, NP, receptionist. Anyone!! The doctor dumped ALL this info at us so fast. We couldn’t process and this is our first pregnancy. So I felt like I wasn’t important. Idk if it was just bad timing or what. But you need to take better care of your patients. At least act like you care. The practice I’m at now answered ALL my questions took time to LISTEN to my concerns. Please don’t listen to just good reviews online that’s what I did with this place and we just got shoved to the side! Oh and don’t get me started on Laura the medical records lady. Omg how hard is it to make a phone call. How do you lose my records when they were transferred 2 months before my appointment. The new place I’m at took LESS THEN A WEEK. I guess they know how to do their job. Oh and I messaged the doctor a question about following up since she DISAPPEARED and I NEVER got a response back. My new doctor I message and the SAME DAY she responded! Like idk what is wrong with this office. Communication skills are lacking very very much. That’s what is wrong with our medical professionals I didn’t feel safe here or like the doctor cared about me.

I have been a pt for some years at Ob/gyn west and I absolutely love it. Dr. English is a great Dr. Who I’ve known even before he started at Ob/gyn west. All the staff as well is very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend being a pt here.

They really need to train nurses and doctors how to deliver news thoughtfully with kind bed side manner when telling a mother her baby has passed away. Update Thank you for your response I didn't share details as it was traumatic and I couldn't find who to email so I made a review and I do so hope that no mother is treated how I was when given such terrible news.

Kellie Stecher and her nurse LeAnn are absolutely amazing! I drive from taylors falls, even with weekly appointments because there is no one I could ever trust more. They answer every single question, and always take their time. I tried a few clinics before OBGYN West, and none of them gave me the care I get here

Dr. Bigos and nurse Jordan At OBGYN West is Amazing. Great care, super friendly and kind. Listens to patient needs and supports you during your pregnancy journey. Included my husband during my pregnancy and took extra steps to make sure we were okay when I had a tough pregnancy.

As the other patients said, we use to love this clinic , right now its nightmare. the reception staff don't have patience and they don't have a bit of responsibility, especially staff at Eden prairie are not doing any work. I will not comment about other locations. OBGYN WEST PLEASE TAKE CARE OF RECEPTION @Eden prairie LOACATION. My wife submitted medical records release form at their front desk and it didn't reached to the Medical records transfer department. Its over 15 business days.

The receptionist are very rude, especially Vanessa. Got cancelled on not even an hour before the appointment and she couldn’t reschedule until a week later. Called back and got an appointment for the next day. I would avoid all costs of coming here. My girlfriend got treated with disrespect from the nurse. I’m not even the one having the baby and my stress level is through the roof.

My doctor took calls during my annual exam. Left a voicemail 2 days ago telling me I had an abnormal pap, has not returned my phone calls as to next steps. I've left 2 messages 4 calls. I think it's time to look for a different doctor. I'm calling my insurance company for a referral.

Ohh my god...when I ask for test results of my wife's urine sample almost 10 days after giving them the sample, they replied that they "mix-up" the sample and the sample never sent to the lab that was big disaster for me. Let’s assume mistake happens but they never contacted us to collect another sample nor they informed us that they lost the sample that was even bigger disaster. Even out of our 10-12 visits, hardly i got service on time in 2-3 cases otherwise always 20-30 mins late service provided.

I asked a question in my annual visit DIRECTLY related to that part of my body. Apparently, the question was "out of scope" and I was charged for an extra office visit. (Interestingly enough, Dr. English kept asking me if I had any other concerns - gladly I didn't - I'm sure I'd be charged $100 for every other question I asked!!) The lack of billing transparency is an issue throughout the entire healthcare system... But this question was VERY in scope. I can understand if I went in and asked an OBGYN to check out and advise on my broken finger, but this was hardly the case. I was also informed that the doctors themselves are not responsible for billing (which I understand), but you would think that I would be informed that my question would cost $ to answer. Although I have been a patient with OBGYN West for eight years, I am going to find a new doctor. Their unwillingness to work with me on this charge and think about what happened logically seems unethical and absolutely ridiculous. Plus, Google gave better advice anyway. Time to contact the Insurance Commissioner...

Dr Heegaard is amazing because he is humble, a fantastic listener, and an endometriosis expert. He has kept me comfortable despite having a painful, multi faceted condition. Referring me to pelvic floor therapy at Viverant has been life changing, and has been a huge difference maker in my quality of life. Helping take care of women is his true passion, and his radio show/podcast, The Gyno Show. Painful periods and painful intercourse are NOT normal, and the staff at OBGYN-West understand, and will help you live a better life. Very thankful for everyone at OBGYN-West

By far the worst clinic I've ever went to, just go to your local doctor, you'll get charged way less & they'll probably recommend you to someone who actually cares about their patient's, not just dollar signs. I will never recommend this place to anyone, I would have been better off with google answers & an urgent care visit.

I had my daughter 3 years ago today and a lot happened in between so it’s taken a very long time to leave a review. Dr.Toft was my obgyn and she was the very best thing to happen to me during my pregnancy. It was my first (and my last) and it was absolutely horrible. I know without a doubt I wouldn’t have made it through without my wonderful doctor. I ended up having a c section due to my daughter being breach and my pregnancy was so awful we decided to just take her out. Dr.toft made the smallest incision, she knew my feelings about a scar and she just did such an amazing job. My anxiety, extreme sickness, migraines, body issues, mood swings and everything else I was going through was handled with such compassion by this woman. I couldn’t possibly thank her enough. I think back on this day and feel so much greatful joy that I had her there to help me through this. And when I look at my tiny scar I also feel so greatful!!! If I still lived in MN she would still be my doctor. To this day I have never had a better doctor.

OB is great but if anything happens that entire month before your next appointment do not expect help via telephone for questions and do not expect help via the nurse help line, which is a complete joke of a service and takes several hours to days to return calls.

I was there for annual physical but they changed the purpose of my visit from physical to something else when I asked my specific question. They should have asked me to leave (or informed me) when they realized, the conversation is going off track. When I called, they were rude and tried to pick a fight. The doctor and the higher admin person never returned my call. Also, they recommended a whole lot of further tests which are not needed according to my other doctor who is a specialist. Thank God I did not go through those unnecessary tests worth $2,000 or more. Always take a second opinion before spending thousands of dollars on worthless treatments recommended by OBGYN West.

I used to love this clinic but the last 3 months have been so disappointing in so many ways. I am pregnant with my 3rd child and am ready to find a new clinic. I have had them call to cancel or reschedule my appointments about 3-4 times which I understand that the doctors get stuck at the hospital. They also called me a week before an appointment to let me know my doctor was leaving the clinic and I would need to pick a new provider. One time they called me to ask me what I was coming in for even though they scheduled the appointment based off whatever the provider had said. Most recently though they called to let me know that my 20 week ultrasound would need to be rescheduled because the woman who made it did it wrong.. wouldn't have been such a big deal had my partner not taken the time off of work and I didn't have family flying in from out of town who were excited to go. Ah and another recent appointment I went in and sat in a room for over an hour before finally having the provider come in the room and tell me that the nurse had checked me out so she never even knew I was there! Overall disappointed with all my recent experiences although Deb the new NP is very nice! I appreciate the response and have since had better experiences in the clinic, I hope that it continues for the remainder of my care.

I've been going to OBGYN West for several years now and I cannot say enough good things about them. My friend also goes here and loves them too. I have seen Dr Toft and Dr Larson who are both SUPER happy and SO warm and welcoming every time I see them. They are both very knowledgeable and my nurse Jenny is THE BEST. I always hear back from her right away and I only ever wait 5 minutes or less - even if I am early to my apts. This may sound silly but Dr Larson is the only reason why I felt comfortable enough to have a baby. If I hadn't found her, I would never have felt comfortable enough to begin that journey. The only thing I don't like about the office is the new self check in process. Your staff is so wonderful that I feel a bit disconnected now that I have to do the self check in. This is not enough to knock off even half a star though. My Dr here is WONDERFUL.

I had the most wonderful experience having Dr. Larson as my doctor during pregnancy! She is always so kind and friendly. I really appreciate that she has been very inclusive towards my husband throughout the entire process. While going through an intense fast labor the moment I saw Dr. Larson in the delivery room I felt very calm. I highly recommend her and this practice! Her nurse Jenny was always quick to respond to each question I had in between appointments and an asset to the team! Thank you both!
