DESCRIPTION

You have all the information of real people who buy the products and services of Metro OBGYN - Maplewood (Doctor) in Minnesota area.

At the moment this firm has a score of 2.5 stars over 5 and the score has been calculated on 23 reviews.

You may have noticed that it has an average rating is low, and it's based on a large number of feddbacks, so we may think that the score is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are happy with the business, it works.

As you know, we don't usually bother to set feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

The doctor appointed my wife for induce labor at St John the next day at 7am. The induce started at 7:30 and the water will not break. It cannot be pop unless they can get a confirmation from him. He was no where to be found. While my wife is close to dying waiting for water to break. The nurse keep telling us to be patient while calling him every 30 min. He finally call back at 2pm, 7 hours after induction, and said the nurse can break the water. So she did, and the water was a really thick dark fluid. He walk in around 3pm, after all the suffering my wife went thru, he come in to say hi? and left the delivery for the next shift doctor to do so. Baby came out naturally at 3:45 PM. I saw nurse put tube into his mouth to pump out all the fluid and monitor him closely. They billed us $2100.43 for him to walk in, put on a gown, and say hi. Let alone setting up an appointment for a 2 weeks overdue pregnant lady and he forget about it the next day. Guess what? He told her to just wait instead of induction. The kid could have been dead. Stay away.

Very bad place! Even with the billing management people can even help you solve a simply problem, they would get angry at you for a unpaid bill, but they aren’t doing their job right and they don’t even listen to you, but argue with you same with supervisors. All idiots and unprofessional and lazy and rude and helpless

This place is a bad place. Please!!! Beware of this place!!! I lost my baby because of this place I was already 9 months and have diabetes was suppose to be induced for labor but never did. Instead, my induced date was after my due date which makes no sense. I was suppose to have my baby on July 4 but the doctors told me no one will be working which makes no sense there should be other doctors there for on call or emergency. Everyone this is a very bad place and how they run things too. I want to keep you and your baby safe so that is why I am writing this review and stay away from this clinic.

This clinic did a great job of getting me in when I was in a scary and uncertain situation. I felt very confident in Dr. Hallmen's care and he gave me piece of mind. The quality of the ultrasound equipment and technicians also exceded my expectations. I was also under the care of Dr. Grande who was very compassionate and informative. I feel very confident in returning for care to this clinic and would recommend them to any friend.

Just because my insurance is inactive. This clinic call and tell me to bring cash in for my appointment . This is the first time I heard from a clinic. Bring cash in. They don’t care about your health. All they want is money.

Definitely not a fan of the front desk, wish I would of got her name. She doesn’t like to book appointments, every time I am done with my appointment and try to schedule my next OB visit, she would tell me to call the scheduling line to book an appointment. Like seriously? Why can’t I book an appointment while I am still in the clinic. It doesn’t sounds like it’s a issue but it is and it’s kinda annoying. I like to book before I leave, not when I am in the car looking for their number to to book my next appointment.

Very professional staff and clean environment. Would suggest to anyone.

Billing department is unprofessional and rude. Never EVER going here again. The clinic isn’t even that great and is extremely SLOW and over priced. Pretty sure they over charged me, threatened to send my account to collections if I didn’t pay the balance in full by a certain date. Keep in mind I have full coverage insurance. They charged my insurance company outrageous amounts as well. Just went in for regular checkup. Shouldn’t be this hard to get health care. 0/5 stars. Worst healthcare establishment I have ever visited. Top priority is money

DO NOT GO HERE! I repeat, Do. Not. Go. Here! I waited 30 minutes past my appt time, then 30 more in the room. After being brought back the lady didn’t ask me any questions or let me tell her why I was there, just quick came in verified who I was and left. The Dr didn’t seem bad at the time but never got me my results, I had to call multiple times just for him to call me back days later on a Sunday night at 9:30pm. They tested for something that results would be skewed on no matter what because of the medication I was on (found that out later when I went back to my regular doctor). I wouldn’t even recommend them to my worst enemy.

I will never provide my service to this organization again. I called this morning and was on hold for 15 minutes. Attempted to make an “annual” appt along with peri menopause concerns. The receptionist was beyond rude. I explained to her that I’ve had a Traumatic Brain Injury and it’s hard at times for me to communicate. As a client/ customer you should never be treated disrespectfully, no matter the circumstance. Let’s not forget the voice and the greeting make the first impression.

I never thought I would ever have to write a negative review on a health care company but today I just had to make everyone around me aware of my situation, I have to say I had the worst care from admin to clinical care. Since being seen for infertility (which is a sensitive time in my life) I thought I would be received and cared for with compassion. I have had nothing but neglect on my care. As an expert working in healthcare I know how challenging it can be to work with difficult patients and I never thought I would end up being in this situation. I was seen in late 2015, I was seen and given a folder of extreme paper work and cost prices, I was not there to be told how much I would OWE to get infertility care, this striked me as an ODD appointment, moving on I was supposed to get additional test done but I had to "wait" on Lori the NP who I saw to get the test done because she was on vacation (which means no coverage was arranged for her vacation) more negative experiences followed. So I decided to change clinics, after failure to provide me with further care recommendations I decided to retrieve my records which was 3 months ago, I also filled out a release form when I was in clinic. No records no trace of them anywhere. I had to cancel 2 appointments at the new clinic because I could not seem to get my medical records, weekly I would call to get an update, to my surprise I was very polite and patience with the staff, I was happy to give metro OBGYN time to get my records to me, again I know how it is working in health care BUT til this day I still have not received them we tried mailing, emailing to faxing and still have not seen anything. You have to see how frustrating this is for me, to end this I was then spoken to like I was the wrong one, I was being discriminated against, The “patient advocacy” individual was speaking to me like I had no clue what I was frustrated about nor was she sincere. After paying 375.00 out of pocket for this kind of care?? I would like to see that returned. I hope no one else will ever have to go through what I went through and I will never recommend metro OBGYN to any of my friends or families. Maybe its time for re-training and re-evaluation President of Metro OBGYN.

Referred for amenorrhea and follow up care for a few years afterwards. Extremely slow - expect to tack on an extra 15-30 minutes to any appointment, especially if it includes an ultrasound - and for weird issues with their appointment lines and billing dept (I've wasted literally hours of my life with their appointment line, trying to schedule things that they claim there aren't orders for, calling my OB/nurse back, them saying that orders aren't necessary/are in the file, and round-and-round-and round again). It's unfortunate because the nurses, frontline staff in the clinic, etc are so nice and great! It just needs better oversight and management.

I was referred to the clinic by my primary Dr for an inversion because baby was breech and my due date was approaching. Consistent with other reviews, the wait was long but I had already read the reviews so I knew what to expect. What was unexpected was Dr. Less’s friendly and upbeat personality which he exuded during the initial consultation that lasted about 15 minutes. He answered all my questions and concerns with factually based data and demonstrated a few positions to encourage baby to turn. A week later, baby was still breech, so we met Dr. Less at Woodwinds to manually turn baby. In under a minute, he was able to flip baby in one of the quickest inversions to date (per Dr. Less). He didn’t leave until it was evident that baby and I were OK. Two weeks later, we delivered a healthy baby girl at the same hospital. Based on our positive experience, we feel very comfortable referring friends and family to Dr. Less in the future.

Doctors are always running 30 to an hour late. It's horrible. Do not recommend this place at all.

i am seeing lots of negative for this place, well my experience has been GREAT!!!! yes you wait, yes they are VERY busy, YES they are hard to get in to due to patient demand. I went to this place on my mothers recommendation, and I myself was delivered by a metro OB almost 30 years ago. so for a place to be around THIRTY years, they HAVE to be AMAZING!!! Koua, their ultrasound tech is ONE OF THE BEST!!! I was NEVER approached for surgery or IVF with my infertility. Lori and Dr Flynn are AMAZING. Dr Flynn delivered my oldest child(7 yrs ago), she walked with me through a miscarriage, and she delivered my TWINS! which if it was not for LORI, i would of never been able to conceive them!!! their staff is always friendly, they are patient advocates. I LOVE METRO OBGYN!!!!!!

The staff is nice, I like my doctor, too, but an average wait time of 30-40 minutes past my scheduled appointment time is ridiculous, and it's very consistent. If I wasn't so far along, I would be switching clinics.

I was referred to Metro OBGYN through my primary MD who could no longer help me with my infertility issues. Lori spent a ton of time with me, explaining my options and listened to my opinions and wants/needs. After our required testing we went on vacation and were unable to start the medication we first wanted because we could not be seen for follicle ultrasounds. Lori suggested we try Clomid for that month along with progesterone. I figured we would give it a shot and surprise, we got pregnant that cycle. I am so glad she suggested that we give it a try and not wait. I am now almost due with a perfect healthy baby boy and have been seeing Dr. Grande who is absolutely incredible. I will say the wait time is also lengthy but the care provided is worth it for me and my family. Highly recommend to anyone with just a littttle patience!

BEWARE of THIS PLACE!! The worst place to go for infertility! These physicians can't help you because your case is too tough then they experiment surgery on you and tell you to go see a different ob/gyn! They push you for ivf because they want the referral bonus!!
