UPDATE: I've moved my 1-star to a 2-star because I spoke with them over the phone and expressed my complaints, to which they apologized and cleared the bill from my records and offered a free consultation in the future. I made an appointment here for a weird fingernail problem. I saw the doctor for less than 3 minutes, no exaggeration. She examined my nail and then said she didn't know what was wrong with my nail and then left the room. The nurse came in and said the doctor prescribed me this cream to put on the nail and how to apply it. I purchased the cream, which ended up being 4 times the price of the identical stuff I can get over the counter. Then I got a bill in the mail charging me a few hundred dollars for my visit... outrageous given I saw the doctor, by appointment, for less than 3 minutes, and she didn't know what was wrong with it. Also, the cream never worked. Don't go here.

Have been seeing Dr Lynda Kauls for two years. Wonderful experience. Highly professional and personable. I am confident that I am seeing the best.

Have been loving my experiences here! Dr. Kauls is very accommodating and knowledgeable. I feel cared for and that my skin is in the right hands.

Market Street Dermatology deserves business. I can that tell Dr. Scheuer enjoys her work and I felt like I wasn't just a number. If you're looking for a place that won't just treat you like a numbered patient, look no further because these people seem to care about their work and about their patients. I will most certainly be back for future dermatological needs.

This place is a breath of fresh air in the medical world. Super friendly, easy to deal with, very cool office that plays decent music. I see Dr. Scheuer.

First time going there, the desk receptionist was really friendly! And the nurses and doctor there were really friendly too! Made me feel extremely comfortable to tell them about my skin problems, etc. Definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dermatologist!

Unfortunately I have to choose 1 star in order to leave a review, because if it were my way I do not believe this office deserves one. First and foremost, I have seen an abundance of dermatologists and let me tell you something, I have NEVER and I mean NEVER felt belittled or disrespected as I have here. As a customer, it is imperative that when I step into an office and pay for a service, I am receiving quality care and service. I also need it to be known that I value my health and I do my best to be knowledgable and aware of any medications I am prescribed. After expressing my concerns Dr. Kauls of a prescription she prescribed and my reasons for my hesitation, not only did the nurse laugh at me but I then received unprofessional care from Dr. Kauls. She spoke to me extremely rude and argumentatively by saying she is a doctor and reads journals nightly and SHE knows not to ever prescribe anything that could be harmful to a patient. As she continues to make comments expressing her frustration due to my cautiousness, she then tells me I need to trust her and never question her recommendations. After I spend 20-30+ minutes in a waiting area and my visit takes less than 5 minutes there is no professional relationship and trust built. Ultimately, her tone, lack of empathy, AND CULTURAL INCOMPETENCY was incredibly disrespectful. As a woman of color, I would never recommend a visit to this clinic for the horrible services I have received. Rule of advice, establish a genuine relationship with your patients, never belittle or disrespect your patients, and provide quality care.

Amazing office and staff, best medical experience I've ever had. Will most certainly return.

I've probably worked with 5-6 dermatologist in my lifetime dealing with various issues, but mainly skin damage from sun exposure and skin cancer. I chose Dr. Kauls because she was such a great listener and takes the time to analyze the issue to figure out the best treatment plan. I've been going to her for at least 15 years now, and would never consider seeing another dermatologist. It's very obvious how dedicated she is to her profession and patients. Honestly, I can't recommend her enough. I even talked my wife into switching over to her years ago, and she liked her current dermatologist but now is totally hooked on Dr. Kauls!

Great doctors and staff! After going to "Market Street Dermotology" you will not be satisfied going elsewhere. They are serious about taking care of their patients. You are more than a number when you show up at their office! New facility and technology, very nice!

I've been twice now for two different reasons, and both times have been a great experience. I was in and out in under 10 minutes, and Dr. Scheuer was very friendly and took the time to listen to me and then explain what she thought the best course of action would be, etc. On top of that, the staff at the front desk helped me navigate my HSA and insurance policy, which was a relief.

Bob Hamilton

Dr Scheuer is the real deal. Many doctors have the knowledge, yet lack the personal touch and connection of showing that they care about you, which what really comes through with Dr Scheuer. Office staff is very helpful as well which again shows the culture at the top. Really straightforward, easy to work with, and a super good dermatologist. I am always grateful when I find a doctor like this in any field. Thank you for all your help!

Kristina Chamard

Amazing doctors who provide top notch care.

Danielle Kolb

The office is beautiful! Also they found me a pharmacy that would get me my expensive topical cream for free! I've been going to dermatologist for years and they have been the first ones to try something new and I have already noticed a big improvement.

Devin Orlando

I'm from out of town and I called them with an issue and they got me in same day. Can't believe how helpful and nice everyone was!

Gretchen Gustafson

Dr. Scheuer is easy to work with and the staff is really wonderful. Within 6 months my acne went from moderately bad to barely there at all! They are also price conscious in their prescriptions so you do not get prescribed expensive meds if you do not need them. Totally recommend!

I had the unfortunate experience of having Dr. Kauls as my dermatologist, and I'd like to share just how traumatizing it was for me. I suffer from PCOS, and it wreaks havoc on my skin. At the time I had no clue I had this disorder nor had I even heard of it. That said, I've always had problems with picking. When she saw my face, she said "You need to go to a psychiatrist because this is NOT normal!" I tried to explain why I pick and she says "I DON'T want to hear it." The worst blow was her commenting on the scars and acne marks resulting from the picking. PCOS destroys your self esteem and takes away your beauty, but Dr. Kauls took away my dignity. When you have no clue a disease is ravishing your face and then have someone like Dr. Kauls making you feel like a freak-it makes you feel like nothing. Had she taken a hard look at the possibility of PCOS and showed some human compassion, it would of meant a lot. Sadly, she thought she was doing me a favor while kicking me when I was down. For anyone who struggles with the devastation of PCOS, find a Dr. who understands how emotionally debilitating this disease is and who is willing to help you. Telling someone she needs a shrink because their disease is out of control is uncalled for.
