Dr. Gehrig was great. She answered questions simply and thoroughly and she always lays out expectations so you know what to do next.

What an awful experience. After reading some great reviews I made an apt at Lakes to get my skin checked out and to treat what I was assuming acne as I’ve never had it before and I wanted confirmation. I waited well over an hr after checking into my apt and then another 20 mins before anyone came into the room. The dr finally arrived asked me two questions looked at my face and said yep that’s acne. She had wanted to prescribed me pills and topical treatments that would have easily been $300. I was later billed $250 for the 5min visit with the dr. This place is NOT worth the time or money! Go to a place that actually cares about their patients!

Very good experience. A tick in every box. Dr. Ahmed is pleasant, thorough, patient, a good listener (really does listen), instills confidence, and much more. The same high marks for all the staff met. Everything went like clockwork. Absolutely no rush. Is Dr. Ahmed available as a GP?

Was able to make appointment online for later that week which I appreciated. Dr. Ahmed was good listener and walked me through options for my skin. Turns out I was more worried than I needed to be. Overall really nice staff and doc that doesn't rush you which seems rare these days. Totally recommend.

My adult daughter is currently seeing Dr. Gehrig for severe cystic acne. She was very kind and didn't talk down to us. Her diagnosis of hormonal acne was spot on. The medication took a couple months to work, but for the first time in about 3 years, I see definite healing and no more of the awful ones forming. It's been a tough road, but we are both thankful we finally found a derm that knows her stuff!

I just had my first visit at Lakes Dermatology in Burnsville. I couldn’t be happier! The staff was warm and friendly and Dr. Kathryn Gehrig was fantastic. She answered all of my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed. She was able to treat me same day. This clinic came highly recommended to me by my husband who has struggled for 15+ years with skin eczema and allergies. They were the only folks to find a solution for him and his skin has been relatively clear since! It’s been a life changer for him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lakes Dermatology, they are top notch!

Scheduled for 9:00 am and told to be there 15 minutes early. They rescheduled my appointment (for 9:20) without telling me. I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes. I was then told about the rescheduling but it had been past even that rescheduled time. They said the nurse would see me in about 10 minutes but the doctor had 1 other patient in front of me. I can't block out 2 hours from work for a 20 minute appointment. Go somewhere else that can use a calendar.

Wonderful & friendly staff. Dr. Ahmed is so kind, and very patient answering any of your questions. They make sure you are comfortable and informed of your procedure's steps & what you can expect. I will be returning very soon, and my sister & fiance plan to make appointments shortly as well after hearing how wonderful my experience was.

Honestly one of the best doctor experiences ive ever had. I left just about 1 hour ago and i cant stop thinking about how amazing my visit was. Dr.Chapman is one the best doctors ive ever had. I will forever reccomend lakes dermatology!

Fantastic clinic! I've been seeing Dr. Ahmed for 10 years for botox, fillers, my skin care regimen, and annual skin cancer screenings. Her approach is gentle and she always takes her time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. She's got a great aesthetic and I've learned to trust her 100% with all my cosmetic needs: lips, cheeks, under eye hollows, forehead lines, and most recently, fractionated laser skin resurfacing. My post laser skin is youthful and glowing and the complexion brightened, even-toned and fresh. I love this clinic! Thank you Dr. Ahmed and your wonderful clinic staff!

My sis recommended Lakes Derm (she goes to their Minnetonka office) Everyone was friendly and Dr. Ahmed answered all my questions. My appointment was on time and efficient but I didn't feel like I was rushed because she answered every single question. For moms/future moms out there there were kids in the waiting room so I'm guessing the doctors see kids too. Tons of parking near front door (What? That's a big deal in the winter!)
