I would definitely not recommend this clinic whatsoever. I was in search for a new primary doctor to see and stumbled across Dr Toninato. I verified that this clinic was in my health insurance network and scheduled a new patient annual exam appointment. Check in was less than pleasant - I had filled out all the necessary forms beforehand and faxed them to the clinic so I could get checked in quicker. The lady at the front desk seemed puzzled when I told her I already filled them out and faxed them. She finally found the faxed forms and checked me in. I saw the doctor and it was a normal routine visit, and I really ended up liking her. Fast forward to a few weeks later, and I get a bill in the mail for $20. I am confused by this because my insurance pays for routine preventative annual exams at 100% with no copay. I call the clinic and had to leave a voicemail. Billing calls me back and explains to me that I was billed for a copay because I spoke with Dr Toninato about issues "not within the realm of a preventative exam." I asked multiple times so I understood, was I not allowed to ask my doctor questions during the appointment? Billing representative was rude, telling me I had signed a form stating that I was aware that I would be billed if I discussed anything outside of what they consider to be preventative annual exam. The first issue was brought up by my doctor, NOT by me, and the second issue she couldn't even help me with, she needed to give me a referral for. So, please steer clear from this clinic because if you ask your provider additional questions during your routine annual exam, you'll be billed for annual exam plus an additional visit for asking the questions. This doesn't make for a good doctor/patient relationship - why should I fear having to ask my doctor a question thinking I might be billed additionally for asking? What a scam! This clinic should be reported for this! And telling me I signed a form stating I knew I would be billed additional for this is crazy - it had to be in small fine print somewhere and never explained to me, because had I known what I was signing, I wouldn't have done so. As someone who works in healthcare with direct patient care, I am disgusted by this practice and I will tell everyone not to go to Entira Clinics.
