BEYOND UPSET. Called in today to discuss billing and received such poor customer service, I am 100% blown away. I am not trained in the medical billing industry, so I do not always understand statements, especially when I see two statements for the same medical procedure with two different charges listed. So I called in just looking for verification on which bill statement is accurate or not and spoke to a woman who literally had the worst customer service EVER. I am in the customer service/retail industry and if I ever spoke to a customer with the tone and aggression this woman spoke to me, I wouldn't have a business. She was literally getting an aggressive tone with me, where I had to tell her that "I was not upset, just wanted clarification on the billing and that she did not need to get aggressive with me." .....I had to say this to the billing customer service gal!!! All I can say is BEWARE and GOD HELP YOU if you have to call in for an explanation and are lucky enough to speak to this woman. Apparently, there is no one else to speak to, because I had asked to speak to someone else and she said, "There is no one else to speak to." This woman needs to find a new career, because billing "customer service" is not her calling from the experience I just had with her.

Just got off the phone with my insurance company... Apparently, CentraCare sent the same bill twice. That is why I was seeing two bills, not that 1) I was charged a late fee or 2) labs had to be added on to the bill that was zeroed out but needed to be shown. If the billing customer service gal just did not have an answer, I should have just been told that from the gecco. I should not have been told BS, just because she did not have an answer PLUS I should not have to put up with being spoken to so rudely.
