As one of the patients mentioned the clinic is great about fitting in a child. I would have some complaints, but I didn’t write the reviews back then so it’s water under the bridge. I will say that it seems the clinic takes reviews seriously because they have improved in many areas. For example, my experience has been that previous concerns have been brought up to present appointments. The nurses are awesome. The front desk staff could be friendly. They are pleasant and boisterous to a few patients. Which is unpleasant to me because they’re stoic and barely say a word to me or my children. My son has been a patient since the age of 5 and my daughter since birth. My kids are 13 and 6, respectively. I walk in, I greet them, I’m a Birmingham resident and I have great insurance... not to be a snob, but I do need to wonder why they’re snobby to me.

They are the greatest! The staff is extremely knowledgable and so caring. We are so thankful we found them!

To start off with a positive, they do fit you in when you're child is sick and needs to be seen. The major sticking point for me is that the Doctors and Nurse Practitioners do not bring your child's chart/record/personal information with them into the room. They bring a sheet of paper to take current notes on. This is a huge concern because EVERY single time I have been in I have to remind them about my daughter's serious antibiotic allergy to a certain medication that they always seem uninformed about. I feel that should be at the top of her chart, oh wait they don't bring that in the room. She also has serious food allergies and we work with an allergist and she is on medications through him yet every visit they suggest her taking an antihistamine for certain symptoms, which she is already on and I have to once again explain she is an allergy kid and we work with an allergist and she is on regular medications. This is very frustrating to me. I have asked questions about an antibiotic she took at a certain time they prescribed and the Dr actually had to leave the room to go look up what medication had been prescribed at that time. When we were in today as my daughter is still not improving after being in their office a few days prior, they asked me questions about her previous symptoms that brought her in etc, again all stuff that they should be able to look down and read off a chart whether on an ipad, laptop even paper chart. I am now looking for a new practice.
