I’ve been to two locations, Rochester and Washington. I see Dr. Goulding - she argued with me about incorrect results her nurse gave me over the phone and later blames me for it. She’s very cold and talks down to me and doesn’t clearly listen to my concerns and tends to blow me off. The staff at Washington is amazing. Rochester staff is rude and argued with me on several occasions. They cancelled my appt without telling me and when I came in for my appt the front desk staff argued with me and gave me attitude...why book someone for an appt if the doctor has a meeting that’s been scheduled for weeks? Someone clearly doesn’t know how to manage this place. I’ve gave this office countless second chances. I’ll be going elsewhere. No one deserves treatment like this especially when dealing with something so delicate.

I just had my first prenatal appointment with Dr. Blake at the Washington office. I left their office smiling, as they were not only professional, but so friendly and really took the time to get to know me, my health, and my concerns. The receptionist was amazing and took a minute to give me appointment options that would work BEST FOR ME. After being a patient of Dr Daly out of lapeer (I strongly advise not seeing daly for pregnancy) it means a lot to have found such a caring and professional office.

I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. It was my first time going to this facility and they sent me a packet through the mail. They said to have the paperwork filled out prior to your appointment. Unfortunately the doctor I chose to go to had a baby and was now on maternity leave. So they sent me to a completely different location and different doctor. My appointment was at 1:10. I left work at 12:00pm so I had more than enough time to make it to Rochester from Lapeer. I get to the office at 1:00 and the doctor refused to see me. And turned me away. So I wasted time and money to be refused.

I have been a patient at this practice for 5 years. I love the Dr's and the staff. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I see Dr. Murthy and she is very smart and attentive. I feel I am in great hands with her everytime I go in. I am currently pregnant and she makes me feel at ease and understood. All the Dr's are excellent though.

I am so beyond upset! All I tried to do was make my first prenatal appointment. I dealt with the rudest person I have ever had to deal with in my life! She asked me questions like "have you been confirmed pregnant?", "have you been confirmed by an ob/gyn?" and proceeded to tell me that my first visit would be with a nurse practitioner 3 weeks after i was hoping to make the appointment. A doctor likes to see you around 8 weeks, they wanted me to see a nurse practitioner at 11 weeks! Who knows when I would have been scheduled to see an actual Dr! She then asked for my bloodwork and ultrasound to be faxed over to confirm to them that I was pregnant. I cancelled my appointment and rescheduled with Dr. Brigette Lorenz in Rochester and they were very polite, made my appointment for the day I had available, and didn't question my pregnancy. If they need you to confirm your pregnant before your seen, what are they really doing? After having a horrible delivery with my first child, I am looking for a great Dr and I am confident that it won't be with contemporary obstetrics and gynecology!

I'm in my mid 20s and have been a patient for 4 years. Every time I have visited the office all the staff from front to back have been very kind and respectful! Dr. Gumbrecht is my regular doctor but I've seen them all. I have never had an unpleasant experience. All the doctors go out of their way to make you feel important and that you are their only patient. I have nothing but great things to say about this office. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! No matter your age or needs!

Dr Greene has been my doctor for more than 20 years. He is the best doctor I have ever had, bar none. He is kind, caring, professional and goes out of his way to help you in any way he can. I wouldn't go to another doctor and I hope he never retires!

Contemporary obstetrics and gynecology has two different buildings registered on Google map in rochester hills area within 0.5 mile distance.We need to use a exact address as mentioned on appointment letter, with NO "contemporary obstetrics and gynecology" in it.

I have been a patient here for almost 18 years and even though I moved over an hour away, I still make the drive. Dr Reedy is great and I have always felt very comfortable with him. Dr Duff, Dr Reedy, and Dr Gumbrecht have delivered my babies and they were all wonderful. With my first one, I was very apprehensive about whether or not my doctor would be the one on call; she wasn't and Dr Duff was, and it worked out for the better. I can highly recommend any of these three.

I am a young woman in my mid 20s. I have had a neutral experience with this office, it's nothing special. I saw Dr. Goulding once a year for the last 3 years for my annual exam. She is a bit cold and socially awkward. I knew that I would be finding a new doctor when I decided to have children, but for now this office was close to my home and my experience was fine. However when I called to get help with my Rx, BOTH of my calls I was helped by RUDE, stuck up staff that tried to write me off. I asked them to send a pre-authorization form to my insurance company because I was told by my insurance that everything would then be taken care of. They don't know me or my policy and they told me that it's "against office policy" to do a prior authorization for birth control pills. After I asked to see the policy they said that it actually wasn't a office policy that the doctors just don't do it when there is another (generic) Rx. I asked that they please do the auth because my policy will cover the brand name I have been taking for over 4 years! They told me that my insurance company just told me what I wanted to hear. It was not until I said how as a patient it was upsetting to be treated so rudely when I just wanted to be able to continue taking my same Rx and I am fortunate enough to do so because of the insurance policy I have and all I need was the pre-authorization paper work that they said they would do it. I did my job. I called insurance, I got the needed information, and I just wanted them to do their job. Instead they were RUDE BOTH times I called and I talked to two different people. I worked at a OBGYN office for 5 years and never treated anyone that way! I always knew I would want a better experience for when I decided to have children but I will be changing Doctors now and I wish I would have sooner. Being rude to a patient because you don't want to do your job is unacceptable! I recommend that you go somewhere else, especially if you have to see or speak with their office more than once a year.

I'm new to the office as of a few months ago. I have seen 3 different doctors and all of them were caring and informative! I had to have a surgery and Dr. Goulding was amazing. She is such a nice and caring doctor! Also, the nurse had to take blood today and she was amazing!! Didn't feel a thing! And the front desk was very nice too!! I would recommend this office, and I've been to both Washington and Rochester locations.

I could never imagine giving the Doctors or the staff anything below a 5 star rating. I recently moved to Michigan from Tennessee and was so nervous starting over with a new group of Obgyn doctors since I had previously given birth to 3 amazing children with a group of doctors I was super confident and comfortable with down there. From the moment I walked into the door I fell in love with the kindness and sincerity of everyone. I feel so much at home with this group at the Rochester office and I couldn’t feel anymore confident in my choice of Doctors for my current pregnancy!

Made an appointment with Dr Murthy and I drove 45 minutes because I saw all the wonderful reviews which may be true. However , I got there and they told me I could not be seen because their system was down. Don’t you think daily they should print out a sheet with patients names and phone numbers to let them know if there is issues??? I think so. Big waste of my time

Dr Reedy is amazing!!!! I am 34 and came from another state to have the Di Vinci complete hysterectomy done. I was a very challanging case and very much in need of this surgery. Dr Reedy managed to perform the surgery without any complications and without having to open me up. I had very minimal pain, swelling and bruising. I was driving 9 days after surgery and back to working 2 jobs within 3 weeks. I could not have asked for a better surgeon to perform this surgery on me. Dr Reedy was great and I am very thankful.

I live in West Bloomfield the only reason i decided to go to this group was because my husband who is a physician ( Family/behavior addiction medicine) recommended this group .This group had their previous office in the same building where my husband has his clinic.He has recommended many patients to this group. Front office staff needs lot of training . They are rude and obnoxious .I took a appointment for morning 7.45 AM . I left home at 7.00 AM and reached at 8.00 AM that day morning traffic was really bad. I reached the office went directly to the front office, i said my name .Response re-schedule , so I asked why re-schedule is the physician not in the office today,response.you are late our doctors golden rule ,don't see the patient who are late. I totally get it I was late , it was my mistake . I was a new patient if the doctors follow golden rule isn't it the responsibility of the front office inform new patients the "golden rule" that if you are late for your appointment don't bother to come just reschedule.If they think their physician's time is precious/important the same applies to the patients their time is also as important and precious . I had adjusted all my schedule at my work just to make it to this appointment wasted 2 hours driving to their office and then driving back to work. I'm not sure how the physicians are . as i was not seen . Front office need training as to how to be nice and courteous to patients.

I have been going to this office since I was 19 and pregnant with my first child. I went to a different OBGYN at first and she was rude to me and judgmental right away. She said I was too young and made me feel bad about myself then proceeded to continue the exam but she was rough. Then she started lecturing me about what I was eating and my living arrangements so I told her I had heard enough and left. I called this office and told them my situation. They were sympathetic and all so welcoming and caring that I continued throughout all my pregnancies. I had a total of five pregnancies with 3 live births. All three births were handled professionally and all 3 were healthy babies. Dr. Greene was my doctor at the time and delivered one of my babies while Dr. Reedy delivered the other 2. These doctors are excellent! I recommend them to everyone I meet. Even through the one miscarriage and one tubal I experienced still I was treated with compassion and felt like I was receiving the best care. My 18 year old daughter now is seeing him as well and I continue to drive the 45 minutes to see him for my annual visit. I tried going to an OBGYN near my house and instantly regretted that decision. You will not regret coming here. The doctors are worth it.

I love coming into the office when I have my appointments. The staff up front are always smiling and welcoming! Dr. Murthy is one of a kind, geniune person and I wouldn't go to see anyone else but her! I've been going to this practice since I was 16 and am now 27 years old and never had any problems. Great staff and atmosphere!

Can't imagine having an experience here worth anything less than 5 stars. I just moved to Clinton Twp and would still driving the 30 min to get there if it weren't for the Washington location. I started going to this office when I was young and terrified for my first gyno appointment. The staff was kind. Dr Murthy told me everything she'd be doing and why. She asked questions and listened. She talked me through every little bit of my appointment, and kept checking to make sure I was okay. SO much patience. Now, three years later, I am leaving the office feeling the exact same way! She greeted me with a hug and asked all about my life and what was going on. Best doctor I've ever had. I will never NOT recommend them!

Waited 3 weeks for the appointment( annual checkup), and when I got there I was told that they do not accept my Insurance despite the fact that when I made the appointment, I was told something else. Paid $175 for the exam that only took 15 min-20 min!!! and also I would have to pay the lab for the pap smear results. Very disapointed.

I am writing this review after many experiences going to this office. It has been a while since I have been there but even friends and family who go here feel the same and have had very recent same experiences. First off the Doctors deserve 5 stars but I would never reference anyone to this office. The staff and nurses are some of the rudest woman I have ever met. If you want your first pregnancy or any pregnancy for that matter to be a special time and a positive environment then I suggest you find people who take pride in working in an enviorment where new life and pregnancy is a wonderful experience. Myself and people I know have all shared the same experience with the staff at this office. My bill was discussed in front of practically the whole office. I witnessed a woman in near end of her pregnancy be harassed by one of the front desk woman while practicality on the verge of tears. My suggestion is find somewhere you feel comfortable because this is not the place. Unprofessional and a bunch of rude woman on staff.
