I was seen by Dr. Carter for the first time today, and I will say my visit was AMAZING!!! Her staff are great and very professional. The office setting is beautiful!! I felt comfortable in my skin. Dr Carter had no hesitation in getting me the things I needed to help improve my condition. I will be returning. I'm glad I've found this hidden GEM!!!!

Worst experience I've ever had trying to book an appointment with a professional. I honestly can't believe this business is operating. She should fire her ENTIRE front office staff. A month or more trying to make an appointment. What an embarrassment. Post review - bumping up to a 2 because the owner called and emailed. She seems decent.

This is an amazing office. I had the pleasure of entering this establishment late this afternoon and had the most delightful conversation with one of the staff. I was curious as to their days of operation, what insurances they accepted and what type of laser packages they offered. The Carter-Snell Skin Center is one of the best dermatology centers I've ever visited in my life. It's hard to find a dermatologist who is familiar with "ethnic" skin, so I was pleased to find out that Dr. Carter-Snell knew exactly how to treat my condition. In addition to her knowledge, Dr. Carter-Snell is extremely thorough. She went through the pros and cons of each treatment. The office is very nice and clean, the staff is friendly and competent, and she has an excellent location right near the DMC. Can't go wrong here.

While some specialists rush and may leave you with more questions than answers, she educates her patients to ensure they understand every diagnosis and treatment plan. I couldn't recommend her more!

I don’t even really write reviews. Doesn’t even cross my mind. But I had to after my great experience here... I was recommended to go to the Carter Snell Center and honestly, the experience exceeded my expectations. (FYI, I needed a growth removed on my scalp…) This was my first time going to a dermatologist and I was immediately put at ease firstly, from the receptionist/front desk (can’t remember her name) and visual aesthetics of the place. I felt like I was on a spa vacation. Nice! Secondly, Dr. Carter-Snell’s assistant Ashley is extremely knowledgeable and down to earth. A few times I was unable to find the words to describe scalp issues I’d experienced, but Ashley was able to put that which escaped me into words better than I. That made me feel comfortable, like I was being taken care of by family. Lastly, Dr. Carter-Snell is extremely considerate and was thorough in explaining things, in detail, to help me understand the procedure. Honestly, my procedure with the Dr. and Ashley went so smoothly I thought the Dr. was joking when she said, “All done.” The total experience has changed the way I think about going to the dermatologist. But, I won’t be going to any other dermatologist, even if I do move back out of the state. Soo pleased…!

This office is either permanently closed or a disorganized mess. Their website says they are accepting new patients, but I emailed them and left a voicemail requesting an appointment and they were silent. I've called a couple times and it goes straight to voicemail.

Bummer. I called and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. Then it was explained that they would need to call me back because they have only been open a few months and don't understand all the in's and out's of the Blue Care Network. The receptionist was friendly, but was so overwhelmed she struggled to record my phone number correctly, and then condescendingly pressed for me to hurry up when I asked which insurance info she wanted next because there were "4 people in line in front of her". Hopefully these are just growing pains, but keep an eye out for their ability to respond to customers in a timely fashion.

I had my first appointment on Tuesday, 11 December 2018. I must say that it was my best medical experience in my life. The establishment is immaculate. Everyone was kind, friendly, and patient. The Doctor took her time to explain everything about my condition. I did not feel rushed nor did I feel that she was overlooking my concerns as some of doctors often do. I rarely leave reviews on anything unless I had a bad experience, but I wish I could give the Carter Snell Skin Center 10 stars.

I had a new patient appointment at 8am today with Dr. Carter-Snell. I could not believe that I was heading back to my car at 8:50am! That type of service is so rare these days. From the moment I arrived I felt a sense of welcome. From my encounter with the receptionist and her assistant to meeting with Dr. Carter-Snell, I was made to feel appreciated . At no time during my appointment did I feel that I was being rushed. That is so important especially in today's fast paced world. All of my questions and concerns were addressed and there was a plan to address my medical issues. I was also told to call if questions come up after my appointment. What an amazing new patient visit ! I would also like to add that her website is also very informative and easy to navigate. I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Carter-Snell as part of my health care team. You have a patient for life Dr. Carter-Snell! I cannot wait to refer Dr. Carter-Snell to my family and friends.

I visited the office this morning and was very impressed. Got lucky with parking right in front. The office is beautiful and Angel and Ashley were very nice and helpful. Now, for Dr. Carter-Snell...she is definitely one of the nicest, most personable doctors I have ever visited. There are many dermatologists much closer to my home, but she was well worth the 30 minute drive. Most importantly, I left feeling very confident that her treatment regimen will help my problem.

What a dynamic trio Alisha, Angel and Dr. Snell were all amazing. I have visited several different dermatologist in the past 10 years and this was by far the best experience. Alisha cheerfully greeted me when I arrived, I had issues with my insurance but she was extremely patient with me and I enjoyed talking with her. Angel took me back and began to prep me for my visit and it felt like I was having a conversation with a good friend, she made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Snell was awesome, very nice and extremely knowledgeable. She thoroughly explained everything I needed to know and took the time to answer my questions. This place is absolutely amazing. Everyone on the staff were attentive and polite. The office is modern with the latest technology that seemed to work flawlessly. Dr. Carter-Snell was very patient with my children during their first dermatology appointment.
