We love Dr. Q. My daughter is 6 and always talks about how nice he is and how he talks to her. He has given us good care every time. Very knowledgeable and kind. I like that he talks to my daughter and not just to the parent. I have worked in the medical field a long time and actively engaging with the patient is not always what I see. We will continue to go here for years and children to come.

Have been going to Dr. Qalieh for many years and he's a wonderful, smart, patient, caring doctor. Our children like him and feel comfortable there. The staff is always friendly, prompt and professional.

Friendly staff they are awesome with kids. We are pretty laid back parents, not uptight about germs or freaking out about every little fever, runny nose, etc. and we seem to agree with Dr. Qalieh on everything we have discussed.

Dr. Q is a great pediatrician. He cares a lot about the kids and has a great demeanor with them. He provides the parents with what the medical field recommends but ultimately lets the parents decide what they want to do. He does not make you feel like a bad parent for not wanting a vaccine and in addition praises lots of questions. Our newborn developed jaundice and he was able to tell us his bilirubin level exactly just by looking at him. He does not take a drug crazy approach, he believe most viruses just need to work themselves out of the body which we agree with. He was exactly the pediatrician we were looking for.

I recant and apologize for my previously submitted review about Brighton Pediatrics with both Dr. Bashar Qalieh and Dr. Ina Shamraj based on the fact that this is the wrong Brighton Pediatrics Office. I have no knowledge of how this Doctors office or their Doctors and staff conduct their business or themselves. I do give them 5 stars for what I do know and that is this; soon after my review I received a heart felt letter from their assistant manager asking if I had somehow made a mistake and how I could have done so, and then proceeded to tell me their medical procedure when it comes to the best interest of their patients and how they come up with a healthy medical plan with the assistance and the same goals as the parents, and that they only have the children and their families best interest at heart. I believe since they personally wrote me a letter and not some template and or just some quick email, I feel that them reaching out and writing me this personalized letter deserves a 5 star rating. HOWEVER... Dr. April Joy Ping at Pediatric Associates of Livingston PLLC. located at 8548 W. Grand River, Brighton, MI 48116 Ignored the pleadings from myself and my child for a different medical treatment and to look at the situation objectively and with the best interest of my childs health at heart, to clearly look and see the signs of a malnourished/underweight/overmedicated child and instead only proposed an increase in psychotropic meds because my child wasn't behaving because she didn't eat all day and couldn't sleep at night so she chose to eat when her medication that was already over prescribed wore off in the middle of the night, so they chose to fix her behavioral problem of not being in bed when she was suppose to and getting into the food at night with sleep meds. When I disagreed she stopped talking to me and made the decision with everyone else not even consulting or listening to my daughter say its making her sick to eat on it and showed her her ribs and collar bones sticking out, she only listened to anyone that agreed to an increase in psych meds. She only considered what the psych meds were prescribed for and nothing else, its as if she blindly wrote a scripts for someone that she had not medical knowledge of, because she considered no factors about my daughter medically and just wrote a script for a behavioral issue that does not warrant more meds when the cause is from someone who wants a child to behave and be quiet at all times and isn't a burden to anyone so medicates them on all fronts so the child appears more appealing. I have proof that her medical decisions to treat my daughter the way she did was detrimental to her health and after a professional finally stepped was able to prove and stop the continued damage that Dr. Ping's continued treatment was the cause of. If you want a doctor that cares so much that he will tell you the healthiest plan for you and your children no matter what and goes the extra mile and use to work at UofM and has studied some pretty remarkable medical procedures all over? Than I can personally say go to Dr. Mohammed El-Fouly in Brighton, MI "Dr. Mom" I have known him all my life, he's still my doctor, and his private practice feels like it was built on the definition of the best interest and what moral and medical ethics stand for.
