Noticed I had an appointment on my calendar this morning. I called to confirm & mentioned I was driving from Springfield & would be cutting it close. I drove to the same location I had my appointment last year. When I arrived they told me my appointment was in Mason. No one ever asked or told me the next appointment would be in a different location & I would not have agreed to an appointment an hour away for a quick check up. I honestly think the location was a mistake, a matter of someone clicking on the wrong location, but when I called to confirm they could have told me it was at a different location (Anyone local know there is no way I could get from Springfield to Mason in 25 minutes) & saved me the drive. :(

Dr. Schwab and assistant were friendly, professional and patient oriented. Mad sure I was comfortable during the check-up and the procedure....nice to be at ease as a patient.

In our many years of dealing with a variety of physicians, I have never been compelled to review one! Dr. Schwab has been a breath of fresh air in the handling of our family's skin issues. I am a very busy person and consistently when I have a scheduled appointment with Dr. Schwab, I am only in the waiting room approx. 5 minutes. I am taken to the examining room where I am waiting under 5 minutes and the Doctor shows up. He performs the examination and boom we are out of there. The entire visits have taken a maximum of 30 minutes. I love this group!!! I don't know about you, but I am sick of waiting in the lobby for an hour to be then taken to the examining room for another 30 minutes, then finally getting out of the offices 1-1/2 later. Who has time for that? Well I don't! I would highly recommend Dr. Schwab all day long to everyone! Actually, I just referred a couple people to him! Thanks! Terri L. Trame

The dermatologist spent a lot of time, going over my skin thoroughly, all the while making me aware of what she was looking for. Thorough explanations of the procedure she was doing. Very compassionate. Feel much better about the care of my skin after many years of sun abuse as a young woman.

Everyone is so lovely here. I've had a couple troublesome moles removed on my face and you can't even tell where they were. The staff really does a great job to educate you on what looks to be an issue, what to look out for, and how to care for things.

Dr. Brindise was very easy to communicate with. She listened to my questions and gave me thorough answers. I did not have to wait for the doctor to come in for the exam. The doctor was not rushing me to end my questions, and I did not feel pressured in any way. The advice and treatment I received seemed sound, and there were no extra treatments recommended or additional (for fee) services offered.

BE CAREFUL. Dr. Diamond appears friendly and nice but she inaccurately identified a troublesome looking mole when I went in for a routine check up and failed to communicate the extra charges it would cost to have the "surgery" and then "process" the results through a third party. I was okay with the extra surgery cost to be safe but ended up paying $500 out of pocket for absolutely nothing when I received 2 bills unexpectedly post visit for processing the negative results. Overall, terrible staff and very unfriendly nurses, even when I asked about the total costs beforehand on the day of. Because she didn't fully explain anything, I was caught off guard by multiple charges later on. When I called to ask, they were not helpful at all and said it was all my fault. Not great customer service.

I previously worked years ago for a cosmetology company owned by a dermatologist. I was familiar with Advanced Dermatology (Dr. Redmond) and was truly happy with the service I received. Doctor Aldridge and staff knew what the condition was I had been experiencing and assisted right away with a plan of action. Knowing that the condition could continue, I was informed that I could make a complimentary return visit, if needed. That is remarkable customer service. I have and will continue to recommend Advance Dermatology to my friends and family.

My first visit with Dr Cortez was excellent. Dr was right on schedule, with no wait time. She was thorough with her exam while explaining all her finds. Medical staff was pleasant. The only reason I did not give my visit a 5 star, was the front desk staff. Upon my arrival, they were not very friendly. Almost felt uncomfortable, with the initial contact. Once I was checked in, the rest of my experience was very positive. I have since scheduled a visit for a family member to see Dr Cortez.

I have been a patient with this office for several years and have never run across such a frustrating issue with them before. In Feb 2018 I had an elective procedure done to remove a "tag" from my shoulder. The charge for that procedure was $200 and I paid the entire bill before leaving the Dr's office that day. The $200 charge cleared my credit account several days later. The following month, I received a bill for a balance due of $126 on that charge. I called the office and talked to Linda, the billing clerk, who said the home office was having trouble with it and she was "working it." The same thing happened the following month. And the month after that. On June 12th, I brought it up to Dr. Schwab personally and to his office manager. Today is June 29th, and I just received a bill from a collection agency for that $126. To say that I am incensed would be a gross understatement!! The incompetence displayed by this otherwise good doctor's staff is a disgrace! UPDATE 18 July '18: After posting this review, and writing to the collection agency to stat that I owe nothing to Advanced Dermatology, I received a second advisory from them re-stating that I still owed $126! On July 16th, I received a personal telephone call from Advanced Dermatology Headquarters in Florida advising me that they had fixed the error and I now owe them nothing. That call included a gracious apology, but the person was unable to explain what had been the problem.

Saw Dr. Schwab looked at me for 5 seconds wrote me a prescription and now that I need it refilled I can't get a hold of anybody on the phone, they never answer the phone.I had to go here for the veterans choice program because the VA couldn't get me in a timely manner, now they are just like the VA.....

I had quickly developed a large skin tag right on the eyelash that was starting to annoyingly come into view of my vision. I was unsure whether a dermatologist could remove, or if I'd need to go to a plastic surgeon since it was on a sensitive area. My regular dematologist was not available for at least a month or more. Having recently received a direct mail piece from Dr. Redmond I decided to give him a try. I received an appointment within days of my call. He deadened the eye area and removed the tag without issue, and sent it to be checked for skin cancer. His office was very efficient and personable. Great service and close to our home in Northville.

I was happy with the doctor. However I had to wait 45 minutes for a 15 min appointment. No one apologized for my wait nor informed me of a wait and I was a new patient. I feel that could have been handled better, I hope my next appointment is better, if not I will seek treatment elsewhere.

Scheduled an appointment, took off work and arrived on time at the address I was provided over the phone only to find out that the person I spoke with scheduled the appointment for a location 45 minutes away and the doctor she scheduled me with doesn’t even take my insurance. So glad I took a personal day for this... NOT!

I had an appointment on Thursday, one of the later appointments. I was given a script and also the name, address and phone number of the pharmacy to take it to. However, upon arriving at said pharmacy, it wasn’t there. So, I called the provided phone number but it was for a chain store and they had no record of my script. I tried calling the dermatologist back for clarification, but they weren’t answering their phones because it was past their hours (it was 4:45). I left a message explaining the issue. As of Tuesday the following week I had not heard back from the office. I did, however, hear back from the pharmacy, and they said that the one I was directed to had been closed since December 2017.

There was only a five minute wait time. The woman at the desk was very pleasant. The woman who took me to the back and asked me what I was in for was ok. The dr was very, dry nice and took time with me. I would definitely return there. One thing I was bothered by was a review from a woman who said the staff took her adverse reaction to the medication very lightly and the patient had to go to urgent care. I have had many adverse reactions and would certainly hope they took me more seriously than they did that pt.

Office staff is very professional and nice, and dr. Redmond is outstanding it's too bad that he's retiring and leaving this April 2018 but I get it I'm retired LOL he will be missed. (For some reason I can't write another review so doing it here, seen Dr Diamond today for the first time, for my annual look see, she is very thorough and this is very important she listens this includes her staff..I would highly recommend this practice!

Worst scheduling service I've ever dealt with. I put in a request through their website specifying my availability. Then a week later, I get an email showing I've been scheduled for an appointment in 2 days that is during my work hours. I called to cancel, and the lady I talked to - she was speaking fluent English, but it was like she couldn't hear half of what I said to her. I had to keep telling her that I don't care about location, appointment availability is what is priority, and she just kept saying 'I have no availability for you at that location'. She wouldn't tell me how far out she was looking, and told me that she had to repeat herself 4 or 5 times, and in I wasn't listening to her. I'm never using this place just because of this.

The first Doctors visit was fine, received some medicine and two days later had an allergic reaction, called the office and the Staff told me , without seeing me, its ok. I called the next day as well, the infection got worse and worse , my face was swelling up and they told me, stop the medicine but its most likely not the medicine. To come in after the weekend ( it was a friday ) if its still bad. I hung up with the staff and went to the Urgend Care, and received Steroids for my infection that I had. I would have ended up in the Hospital , if I would have waited all weekend, by friday my Eyes were swollen and my face was swollen so much already . I will NEVER go back to this Doctor . I am not sure or the Doctor knew about how bad my reaction was. The staff sure did not listen to what I had to say about my swellings and blisters in my face.

My husband was referred to Advanced Dermatology by the VA. Dr. Bahl was the doctor assigned to him. She immediately identified his problem. She and her staff were professional and kind. Dr Bahl identified a number of pre cancerous locatiions on his skin, treated them, explained what we needed to do at home and set up a visit back in one month. We both immediately felt thankful that my husband had been referred to this office and fortunately to this doctors care. In fact the entire office was what you hope for when you visit a doctor's office. I also signed up as a new patient.

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever received. I am a healthcare professional myself and found the way I was treated as a patient unacceptable. This appointments debacle revealed to me how incompetent this office is, from the front desk staff all the to the Doctor (Dr. Diamond). I was told by the doctor herself that because of the busy, chaotic day she had, she felt too fatigued to treat me for the appointment I was scheduled for. But she did go on to tell me that she had 4 more patients to see after me. Do yourself a favor and find another dermatology office.

Raymond Schwab is a blemish on the face of good practice. Shame really as I'm sure there's good hard working people here, but Schwaby here makes the whole place look like an embossed carbuncle. Congradulations on all your success, you win the big blue ribbon for self entitled turd. In short, literally go anywhere else.

I came to Dr. Raymond Schwab to get laser treatment for my sun spots-2 small ones and one big one. During my intake appointment, Dr Schwab spent under 10 minutes with me and seemed in an incredible hurry. Interestingly enough, he was in such obvious hurry that he omitted to tell me a few important details. Like the fact that I may need to undergo more than one treatment in order to remove my spots successfully. Obviously he omitted to tell that for those future treatments I will pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket for each treatment. Since he was in such a hurry and provided me no information, I assumed that one treatment would be enough and paid my fees for my treatment session . After the laser treatment the two smaller spots disappeared but the big one, about which I was concerned the most, did not. When I returned to see Dr. Schwab he suggested that I should go ahead and pay for more treatment. When I confronted him on why he never told me my treatment could take more than one session he did not have a clear answer for this. I refused to proceed with any further services from him because I do not think that this is an honest way to run a business. Dr. Schwab was supposed to tell me that it may happen that I will need several treatments and will be charged hundreds of dollars out of pocket several times. I am extremely disappointed with his lack of respect for the people he is supposed to help. I do not recommend that anyone should come here.
