if you ask me what is deparment is the worst in umass memorial I say IT IS DERMATOLOGY CLINIC IN Hahnemann on 279 LINCOLN STREET/ AND I HAVE RIGHT TO SAY SO, BECAUSE I HAVE A LOT OF FACTS. THE DOCTORS ARE IS GOOD BUT THE OTHERS STUFF ARE TERRIBLE FOR EXAMPLE, I TOLD YOU ABOUT LAST ONE: SINCE JULY 8, 2017 MY WIFE CHERNYAKOVA ZHANNA HAS RED SKIN FOOT INFLAMMATION AND A FEW UMASS DOCTORS INCLUDING HER PSP DR ROSEN RECOMMENDED MAKE APPOINTMENT WITH DERMATOLOGY CLINIC AND I TRY TO DO THAT BUT ALL FRONT DESK STUFF CANNOT DO THAT . FINALLY THE NURSE CALL ME HOME AND TOLD ME: I HAVE NOT ANY IDEA HOW TO HELP YOU! AFTER THAT MY PHYSICIAN CALL THEM AND MY HEALTH INSURANCE MANAGER AND GOT THE SAME ANSWERS SO I WENT TO CAREWELL URGENT CARE CENTER AND WAS DIAGNOSED VASCULITIS OF THE SKIN . NOW I NEED BIOPSY AND CALL AGAIN. ANOTHER WEEK PASSED BUT I HAVE NOT YET APPOINTMENT

Tried to schedule an appointment there today for my 8 year old daughter but my wife was told 5 months before she can be seen. Called Southbridge, had an appointment made for 3 weeks. Will be spreading the word to not go anywhere near here.

I have been dealing with a medical/skin/allergic rash on my lower limbs, for the past 18 days, a condition that came on while on my 2 week vacation at Salisbury Beach - I went to urgent care in Amesbury, as well as 2 trips to the Anna Jacques Hospital er in Newburyport, for treatment/diagnosis, but explanation was vague and steroids did not clear the rash - yesterday when the condition worsened I decided to go to the Umass Lake Ave ER - the staff and Drs were not only extremely pleasant, but also compassionate and knowledgeable - a diagnosis was almost immediate - a consult with on call dermatologist Mark Scharf also confirmed the er dr diagnosis - an appt was set-up for me at the Umass Hanneman Dermatologists office - upon arriving at that office this morning, I was greeted by a very pleasant friendly admin rep, this pleasant and caring manner was exemplified by Dr Mark Scharf and his assisting Dr Jones, nurses and check out staff - I cannot praise this staff enough - not only do I know have knowledge of my condition, but the warmth, the compassion and genuine concern put me at ease.... Thank you for this experience
