Just back from a trip to Medway in Ma ( from Ireland) and made the trip into Boston to buy buy a pair of boots only to find the store is closed for renovations. Checked website before I went in and said store opened at 10, no mention of store being closed for renovations. Not happy as my morning wasted and no boots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No update or notification on their website that this store is actually closed. I don't know for how long or why, but the website says that it's open. Went all the way into Boston with my heart set on buying a pair and there was a padlock on the door with the lights off. Very unprofessional that the website gives false information. Update your site and stop wasting people's time.

Very trendy little shop selling old-school Docs and newer styles of boots and shoes. The salespeople we're very helpful and hands on and not at all bothered by our need to try on many pairs of boots.

I came here to try on a pair of boots that I saw online. The staff was incredibly helpful with aiding me to find the right size as the sizing for Dr. Marten's can be a little tricky. The store clerk even recommended a boot wax to me. All in all I had a great vist and got the information that I needed.

Took the time to explain the difference between each/how they would look and feel when broken in. Took the time to go over care and maintenance with me as well. Great experience.

I was told over the phone to bring in the boots and I could exchange them since I received as a gift. I went to the Boston location and was not impressed with the managers attitude. I ended up taking the boots with me and sending them back for the money.

Customer service here was fantastic! Received one on one advice and attention the moment I entered. I paid a premium, buying at the store, but the assistance I got made my search for a new pair of boots much faster and easier than it would have been on my own. Dr. Martens products are plain and simple amazing! Over the past 30 years I used and owned 12 pairs of their shoes. However, I’m rating the service at that particular location, I bought a pair of boots without their original package, and when I checked them again at home they were in UK size which is fine but it differs than my US size. So I called them and explained the situation and they said that I was welcome to go and change the size. I went the following day for the exchange, only to be met with that rude blonde lady who works there, never greeted and smiled and told me she was busy with another costumer even before I got a chance to talk to her... So I waited until she finished, she called another associate while I was still waiting and standing there, she completely ignored me and told her : make sure this man try the new size and don’t give him the package of the new pair of boots and make sure he doesn’t leave the shop before trying both feet... she said all that while I was still standing with little to no respect to me. Her tone was plain rude and attitude was something unforgivable. I got my first pair without packaging, and I called before coming to that store and the person on the phone said it was ok as long as that I didn’t wear them outside. I never put on the boots, seemed pointless after knowing that the sizing was UK and not US. no one should treat a customer like that, let alone a reputable shoe maker like Dr. Martens.
