REVIEWS OF Patriot Pediatrics IN Massachusetts

For 31 years I have been taking my children to patriot pediatrics. With my older daughter they were always quick to figure out symptoms, nice, and happy to help. But currently with my younger daughter the problems began in December. First off her health center at school in Florida seems to brush illness off by giving Tylenol. And urgent care was unreliable and expensive. So she waited to come home for winter break to see her trusty physicians at patriot pediatrics. On her first visit she went alone and came home saying “they told me nothing was wrong with me.” She had also asks to change medication for flights because the one she was taking made her nauseous. But was told take a Advil pm. (I will continue that later) My younger daughter who has always been outspoken and known her self and body well insisted to me that something was wrong with her. I could see it with my eyes as well- she was in pain. So I made a second appointment. She went with me this time. The nurse practitioner who checked her out was shocked! Her throat was so swollen! The nurse brought the new dr. (The one my daughter had see at her last visit). Who then again seem to brush it off. Saying “oh it didn’t look like this last time”. When my daughter spoke up saying “yes it did” she immediately snapped “I’m the doctor you are not”. That made me very upset! I had seen my daughters throat and it did in fact look the same. So I spoke up and agreed with my daughter. She gave me a very rude and disgusting glare. So after speaking to her and the nurse practitioner it was agreeded they would run tests. Then the dr had the audacity to tell me my daughter was trying to get pain killers and drugs from her. My daughter had simply asked her questions about a weight loss pill she had read about and changing flight medication! NOTONCE DID MY DAUGHTER TRY TO OBTAIN DRUGS! Truthfully if she wanted them she would probably be buying them not trying to get her pediatrician to give them to her. So after that extremely frustrating visit still nothing seemed to get better. So again for the THIRD TIME I made a appointment. It was the earliest appointment on the day my daughter was returning to school! It literally took all if break to figure out the problem! My daughter was extremely angry going in but we were pleasantly surprised with the young male nurse practitioner! He was nice and funny! Figured out what was wrong with her almost immidiatley!!! Thank you Jessie you were a wonderful help! Unfortunately that is not the end of the story. This past week my daughter had spring break. She called me explaining that she had the exact same symptoms as before! (She believes she get sines infections when she stays at her boyfriends house for more than two nights in arow) I told her to go to the health center. It was already closed and she was in Clearwater beach with her sorority sisters. She begged me to try to get her doctor to send her medicine to Florida! She did not feel comfortable going to urgent care. So I called them. At first they were very hesitant saying no no no! But me having to beg them changed their minds. She picked up the medicine and said she was feeling better and to thank them so much! So I left for Paris happy my daughter was not sick and having fun on spring break! 5 days later I get a call from her saying mom they gave me amoxicillin! Since she was a child she was never taken well to full amoxicillin. I had said it over and over to them throughout the years as well. So she called them and explained she was going to stop taking it because it was causing a strange pain and soreness in her throat. She asked for something else. Personally I don’t think it is a big deal for them to switch from amoxicillin to something else but apparently it is. Today she was called and told to keep taking it!!!! Who in their right mind would tell a 19 year old girl to continue to take a medicine she shows signs of allergies to!! I might not be a dr but I’ve been to enough doctors to know that is ridiculous! She was then told she should fly home to see them! I am out of words!!

Supportive, informative and caring medical treatment. Excellent service, always going beyond expectations to keep my children healthy. I frequently depend on their kind and thoughtful advice. I would highly recommend Patriot Pediatrics as the best pediatric practice available.

If you have UnitedHealth find someone else. Love the med staff but the admin side is bad enough overall and so incompetent at correctly billing UNH that I am compelled to take my business elsewhere.

One of the best in the area! I did extensive research to find a pediatrician... read all reviews and asked all our colleagues, friends and family members. We ended with three options and when my OB [high risk doctor] from MGH Boston knew of Dr. Feldman we decided to visit. We have NO regrets. Dr. Feldman and his team are wonderful ... When we had out first child we lived in Bedford and so the decision was not hard at all. However, we have moved [more than 30 miles away] to Shirley, MA and we still travel to Patriots Pediatrics in Bedford. The hike seem much [particularly in the winter months], but worth it. I have a research background and so I did my research in order to switch. We even got recommendations from Dr. Feldman, but in the end we chose to stay. They have convenient hours, walk-in sick day appointments (early mornings) and bottom line, a great business model.

The entire office staff and doctors are great. I bring three of my children here and they love it. Everyone is courteous and easy to deal with. When you have questions and leave a message, the nurse calls me right back. They understand from a patients perspective, which makes it easier for me and the kids. Great place and would highly recommend this place for any parent looking for a doctor for their children.
