I've been a patient of Dr. Lomas for about 4 years now. She was amazing when I was trying to conceive and failing and then when I did get pregnant she was very thorough and kind. I was a very nervous first time mom with a few complications related to a preexisting condition. She was always sure to call and follow up with my other specialist and make sure that my baby and I were doing well. When it came time for my son to be born, I was so thankful that she was there to assist during my c-section. Dr. Lomas has a very gentle bedside manner and I always felt at ease leaving her office after all of my pre-natal visits. I look forward to having her care for me during my next pregnancy .

I absolutely love Dr Lomas and Caroline Mudd, they were very helpful and informative which was awesome since I was a first time mom. The staff is wonderful especially the receptionist Donna who is always happy and smiling and pleasant to talk to. I would definitely recommend Dr Lomas's office for new moms or for anyone who wants their pregnancy and delivery to go as smooth and stress free as possible :)

This was my first time to the office and it was horrible. I left without being seen, after over an hour of no information on how much longer I would have to wait. I was waiting in a room in a gown for 45min or more. Than I was sticking out my head to see if anyone had information on when I was going to be seen. I was not going to the front desk because I was in a gown. No one was around my room to talk to. My appointment was at 9:45 and I got there at 9:28 I left at 10:55 because of the lack of communication. Once in the room I was asked basic questions that an obgyn office would ask by the MA who spent less than 2 min in my room. After some convo I was asked to “prove” I was not pregnant by giving a urine sample. (The word prove was her word not mine.)This was immediately after walking into the patient room. After that I was left in the room in a gown for 45-50 min alone and with no update. After I got dress and made my way to the front desk. I waited yet again. The front office staff were looking through paperwork for several minutes while I was waiting to tell them I was leaving. Before I got the chance to speak with the front desk the MA that brought me to the room saw me and asked what I was doing. I explained I had no more time to wait and couldn’t stay. She said the doctors procedure went longer than anticipated she will be with you soon. The doctor approaches me and says the internet is down so it’s been taking me some time to get through patients. Two different reasons on why I had waited. (Both would have been fine if I was informed 20-50 min ago.) I told them both I had no time left to be seen because I had a meeting. The doctor did not even apologize but has the nerve to ask if I was going to reschedule to which I answered absolutely not. Would not suggest anyone go to this office because of the staff being so unfriendly and rude.

As a primary obgyn she is not very thorough. She does not do breast exams; even when my there’s a history of various cancers in my family! Dr. Lomas’ staff however, is a delight. I do not recommend her for pregnant women either. First of all, she is not warm and fuzzy. I got stuck with Dr. Lomas after my doctor quit her practice. Although not warm and fuzzy, I was not concerned since this is my 2nd child and I just wanted a healthy baby. Dr. Lomas did a routine test on me while pregnant; while in the room I didn’t ask many questions, kind of taken off guard. The next day, I called her office to inquire why I needed a prescription. The nurse said nothing was in my file and she did not know why! She said she’d have Dr. Lomas call me back. It took over 4 days for her to contact me about a prescription I was already taking! Labor and delivery.... I had a scheduled c-section however, the baby came early. After my water broke, I went to the hospital. Dr. Lomas was there. I asked if I could try to have the baby naturally, she said, “yes,” and let me labor. After 10 hours of labor, a different doctor came in to introduce himself, Dr. D. I asked where Dr. Lomas was.... she was done with her shift and left! She never Even came in my room before leaving!!! Typically, doctors are concerned for their patients and like to check on their status and well being before leaving their shift at the hospital (esp. when the ‘labor plan ‘ had changed). NOT DR. LOMAS! Well I ended up with an emergency c-section 19 hours later and was in the hospital for several days. Dr. Lomas NEVER visited or checked on me!!!! Again, this is not typical; usually your doctor reaches out to you once they are aware you had your baby. Dr. D did not deliver our baby; but he still came to my room the next day to see how I was! That is what you want in a doctor; someone who cares. Dr. Lomas DOES NOT CARE! Upon discharge, Dr. D came and said good bye (even though he was not the doctor on call!) ... like I said, I never saw Dr. Lomas in the hospital after I arrived when my water broke. She should be ashamed.

Dr. Lomas and her staff were amazing! My she made me feel comfortable and my whole procedure was quick and pain free and I found out her sister was a winner on the Great American Baking Show!! I would highly recommend Dr. Lomas and her staff.

Actually shocked at that last review! I had the complete opposite experience and felt that it was necessary to share my experience. I had a different, kind of flaky, OB... and wished I had had Dr. Lomas for my prenatal care. Didn't matter, though, because when it came time for delivery Dr. Lomas PULLED THROUGH!! I went through many hours of labor after being induced. My original OB told me she would be giving me a C Section, but Dr. Lomas believed I could do it, and let me deliver naturally. She actually was there with a vacuum extraction and did not give up! Though my 9 lb, 10 oz baby was difficult to deliver I wouldn't have wanted anyone else but Dr. Lomas who was kind, patient, and a true warrior in the delivery room!!!! 1,000,000 stars!

I admire Dr Lomas, she is very compassionate, explains everything....she listens to your concerns your fears....she walks you through step by step with what her plans are , when you leave her office you feel as if your a part of a team.

Dr. Lomas is excellent. She delivered my second child when my OB was out of the country. She is patient and fully explains options in a calm manner. I am so happy she was there for delivery!
